You can never fault the service at Jilabi. The staff are so friendly and attentive which is part of the reason why I enjoy a Jilabi For its reputation, it has still kept prices reasonable which is good Lamb in the curry was tasty, tender and falls apart Free cake at the end and birthday singing for a member of the party.

Came for a works meal. From start to finish the staff here were warm and welcoming, great service. There was so many dishes to choose from. So it was nice when ordering they took time to find out what kind of dishes and spice level we liked and recommended food that was bang on. Food was delicious. I chose a lamb and spinach curry, and the meat was tender and the sauce thick and unxious. I have to admit my dish was a touch too spicy for me as my eyes started watering a little, but it was still super tasty. I liked the touch of a complimentary deserts of melon, cake and ice-cream. Triple whammy which left us all contentedly stuffed. Would definitely suggest to seek this place out. Well worth a visit.

Very nice service! Went there today and place is very cozy and quiet. Really spent well time there. Enjoyed our buffet table dinner. Everyone loved food and service. Staff is very friendly and professional.

Service was 5 star. They really make a great effort though outdoor drinking & smoking area are just perfect to wait around have drinks & chat with friends until you get your table. The food was fantastic. Really tasty and succulent Indian Cuisine. You want curry? They got it. You want spicy, they got it. You want Indian Lassi? They...got...it!

Went to this place yesterday, we were told instead of the main buffet we will get table buffet, only gave us a small mix grill and few curries and short changed us. I don't know why this was. Not impressed at all, they either have a buffet or no buffet no such thing as table buffet. Wouldn't recommend avoid better Indian eateries in Birmingham with plenty of food and value for money with better taste.

Food and service was amazing! Would highly recommend. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was highly attentive. There was no buffet option when we went but I’m pleased about that as I couldn’t fault the menu. Great for parties as there is something for everyone.

Horrible I paid for the food delivery after the food was over an hour late I decided to come into the restaurant. There I was told it would be another 45 minute wait. When I asked for a refund I was refused. Left the restaurant without my food or refund. Do not order from hear , incompetent and extremely rude. Not to mention there was a mass gathering if people which is illegal.

We were a corporate booking for 80+ so no mean feat. They were super friendly and accommodating. Very attentive and friendly. Always smiling. Pretty well all of us loved the choice and quality of the food. The staff were really engaged with all of us. This is what true customer service is all about. Family atmosphere and relaxing all the way through our 2 hour stay. Well done guys you did Brum proud !

Breach of Tier 4 rules !! They are putting people's lives at risk, came into the restaurant to see why my order was an hour and a half late to see that loads of customers needed sitting in the restaurant having a drink waiting for their food !!! Shocking Absolutely shocking.

If I could give them no stars I would. Ordered the food over 2 hours ago and still no food. Been trying to call the retaliating non stop for about an hour - no answer. In the end had enough and my partner went to the restaurant where he we was told food is still not ready. Nothing offered for inconvenience only a refund an no food! In the end I didn’t get the food an I’m 21 pounds out of pocket! Absolutely disgraceful place and terrible customer service or more like non existent! Keep away from this place do not recommend !!

AWFUL FOOD & SERVICE!! I vistied yesterday, and when ordering felt very rushed and forced by the waiter on what to order - I asked if they could make the chicken tikka masaala more spicy and instead he pretty much forced/ordered for me to have butter chicken, which i later realised was a more expensive dish! We asked for a jug of water for the table in addition to us ordering paid soft drinks, but were told “we dont offer jugs of water” which was odd. My mixed kebab starter arrived and the food did not taste good at all, worst of all the lamb chop that came with it had no lamb on it, just fat only therefore was unedible (clearly them using cheap cuts of meat/ingredients) i have included a photo of the lamb chop. After i took a photo of the lamb chop, I noticed the waiter hovering around behind me and he asked if everything was ok, and I told him I wasnt happy with the starter and he very quickly took the plate away and called the manager, the manager offered me another lamb chop but I was already put off at this point and declined and just asked for the cost of it to be taken off my bill at the end. My main finally came after a long wait, and was supposed to be butter chicken - the dish that arrived at the table was far from it and looked and tasted awful! The chicken looked like cheap supermarket produce that you find in the cold meats section and tasted odd, worst of all they had blatantly watered down the sauce as butter chicken is supposed to have a thick and creamy sauce, but the consistency of what I was served was basically runny water (which i assume they do to cut costs and make more money, rather than provide quality food) you could actually even taste water when i tried the curry and there was no flavour at all. I was not happy eating this and informed the manager that we will just pay for our drinks and leave as I did not feel safe eating the mess that was being served to us. He reluctantly agreed and we walked out. I will never visit this restaurant again, food was disgusting!

I have been to this restaurant many times and the food and service was good but we ordered a takeaway and we received half of the order, when we phoned the restaurant they said they would deliver the remaining of the order and it arrived an hour later and it was stone cold. I would never order a takeaway again from the Jilabi.

Ordered food at lunch time today. Was given a collection time of 8.30pm. Arrived to collect. Finally left with curry at 10pm. Chaos at its best absolute joke

Visited this place on the recommendation of Google. Called the place and we have been told that it is open. Welcomed by staff and showed us our table for 2. The restaurant is clean and ambience is great. Have tested the tasters and main courses and everything has authentic taste. The staff was very kind and Cooperative and helped us in selection as well. The buffet has all the options that ones needed. The sweet in Gulab Jamuns are very balanced and not over/under sweet. Even customer lavatories are clean and no water on the ground. We had mix tea at the end of our meal, which taste OK as this has a bit more milk than my taste. Overall experience is very good and I highly recommend this place for family visits.

Surprisingly very nice...had set starters...and individual choice of curry....ample rice and choices of nann breads....in present climate...a great evening...and great service...with complimentary drinks..

It's not at all worth your money. They say it's a buffet and it's a completely different menu when we come here. They give a common menu for everyone and charge extra for few dishes with the buffet charges. It would be great if the management is being honest and ethical with their customers. Complete disaster

We went for buffet. Buffet was good they had many options and then on table they served some extra kebabs, naans, butter chicken. We had booked table for 15 so they tried to give special services so that we would dine in again 😊

What a fantastic evening. We turned up without a reservation and were sat straight away. Our drinks order was immediately taken and promptly served, as was the rest of our courses. The food was all fantastic, arriving perfectly hot and well presented. Our desserts and coffee were delivered to our table unannounced and were very well received. Extremely friendly staff and will certainly come here again if I come to the area again. If I have time, perhaps even tomorrow! The best restaurant I've been to in a long time; Customer service was unparalleled. Thank you.

Absolutely lovely, went for mothers birthday party. The food, the service was great.Been to many food restaraunts but have never received service like this. Made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Manager Abdul was great, servers like Sharif, Hilal and others were friendly and kind. Had great convos and great time. Food was delicious and tasty, proper asian food, loved it.

Myself amd a friend dinned here yesterday. We was greeted with a warm welcome. The hospitality was fantastic and goes above and beyond. Amazing food. They gave us complimentary mix grill, desserts/tea and a keema naan for take out! Everything was spot on and i cant recommend this place enough. By far the best balti restaurant in Birmingham.

Absolutely amazing curry, ordered the railway lamb curry it was cooked very similarly to what I have at home and something my mum would cook! The owner there was really friendly polite and helpful along with his young team of staff, the biggest surprise were the complimentary desserts a selection of jalebi, gulab jam, chocolate fudge cake, wedge of melon and some ice cream and to complete the meal a very nicely prepared desi chai, loved my meal, loved the service and loved every minute, would definitely recommend!!

Wonderful, fresh and delicious food and the service was warm, friendly and incredibly attentive. This is the second time me and my family have come here, and both times it was an absolute pleasure. We were regular customers here approximately 5 years ago due to the fantastic food, speedy service and friendly experience. We returned today and glad to say it’s still the fantastic place we remember. The food is always top quality, tasty dishes and spot on cooking. Friendly and fast service, excellent value for money. Without a doubt the best Indian dining experience I’ve had.

Absolutely amazing service, extremely flavoursome food. The mixed desi grill was cooked to the perfection. Lamb biriyani and lamb handi were delicious and a must try. Staffs were very friendly and the service was outstanding. Really thankful to the whole Jilabi team for serving us a customised delicious meal and making our night memorable. You won’t regret visiting this restaurant. I ate on a Wednesday night which I thought might be quiet but it was busy with good custom. The curry was high quality and very hot straight from the kitchen. Service was prompt and good selection of drinks. I was offered cake with fruit and a tea or coffee at no addition cost. Really enjoyable

We come up to Birmingham every year for the UK Games Expo, and every year we go to this restaurant. I've never experienced service like it. From the moment you enter to the moment you leave, you have at least two serving staff attending to you. We eat like kings and queens, with complimentary tidbits. The food is immaculate. The atmosphere is great. This place has almost become the highlight of our annual foray up north.

Been here numerous times over the years and have never been disappointed! The food is exquisite and the service is second to none! It is our go to when celebrating birthdays. We always get a complimentary pudding, tea, coffee and usually a none alcoholic celebration drink too in champagne flutes! More than worth what you end up paying and I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough :)

It’s was my first time 20/10/2020 there we enjoyed a lot and overall I was really impressed with this restaurant. The decor was good. The waiters were very attentive and brought everything we asked for at a fair speed. The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Had a lovely day and memorable day I would recommend you do go there. Definitely going again xx

Went here tonight for the Sunday buffet to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I have to say the food was wonderful (the chicken tikka puree was out of this world!) and the service faultless. Probably the best Indian buffet I've been to. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. As regards Covid etc, social distancing, contact tracing was very well done. Very, very good food!

Fine restaurant with too many staff in my opinion. They give you the feeling you are in a rush, even before I was seated they asked me if I would make use of there special offer. So I started with a drink, but they recommended to get drinks from the supermarket next door, crazy! The food is served pretty fast, the taste is good but nothing special. A dessert is included in the price, but nothing to be missed. Overall okey, but would not go back.

These guys always look after us. They even call you when your order is ready for collection. I have used these guys twice and each time they have been very hospitable. Would recommend

Amazing food with extraordinary customer services. We were traveling to North Wales and really hungry the manager not only gave us excellent service but he also ask us if we want anything else even the restaurant was closed. Keep it up and don't change your policies. Really happy and really appreciate.

Thanks for the uncooked raw chicken you sent us on valentines night me and the wife have been bad all day how your cheif does not know how to cook chicken properly we won't be using you again I would mot recommend having food from here I would not even be giving you 1 star

I travel from Sheffield to Birmingham for this gem of a place and there hasn't been a time I've not enjoyed it it's rare to find great food with amazing service look no further than jilabi. Food is consistently amazing I've had the biyar Bari chicken and I literally wanted more cause I enjoyed so much. The manager is so respectful and provides amazing service hence I reccomended my nephew to get a takeaway with some friends yesterday and he couldnt believe he hasn't tried it as he's been living the Bham for 2 years. Can't wait for COVID to end I know where I'll be heading

1st time we ordered the family buffet at 6pm were told it would be 40mins 8pm still no food. Kept calling only 2b told the driver was lost. Food finally arrived at 9pm. We gave them the benefit of the doubt as the food was nice so ordered again 2weeks later this time there was no rice in the box. At a friends house who ordered the buffet was told 25 mins when placing the order then took my card details and said it would be 1 hour. 1 hour 20 mins later i called only to be told there's a 25minute delay. 2hrs from when the order was placed the food arrived. Missing popadoms this time and wrong curry! Called the restaurant who put me on hold and then hung up! Really bad service and always missing food will not order again. Looks like they just want more n more orders and dont bother once they take ur money. When in to collect once and they were 4 of them on the phone. Need to work on customer service and actually getting the food right

This restaurant was utterly amazing. Today it was my birthday and when they had found out they had given us complimentary food, desserts and drinks. They went above and beyond. The food was just amazing and you could tell the effort they had put in it. It would always fill us up and tasted amazing. The service here was the best service in any restaurant and they were very kind and very patient. The decorations for Valentine’s Day were just amazing and the shop always would be clean.
