Great Indian restaurant on hailsham high Street. Friendly staff and a nice clean modern atmosphere. Have taken guests on several occasions and all commented on how nice the food was. Also offer a takeaway or collection service which have also had several times. Always prompt delivery friendly delivery drivers, foods always fresh and hot. Cannot fault at all

Always great food here. I recommend the Tikka korai, special rice and sag aloo. But tbh whatever i order is always nice. Just had chicken shaslik, mushroom rice and sag aloo. Very nice! Edit, prices in the menu are now plus vat making it 20% more expensive to eat here now. I now have to think twice before eating here due to this extra cost. I don't like the way this has been done tbh because most restaurants do not charge plus vat on the menu prices. It took me a few visits to work out why my bill had shot up.

Lovely selection of food ,well cooked and presented. Staff very friendly. Every where clean. 4 people in our group ,all Enjoyed their meals, onion bhaji are fantastic a must have. All would go again no hesitation. One of the best Indian meals I have had in a while.

On Thursday 14th December I had arranged a group meal for my cycling club. From the moment we arrived it was great, the food, the service and the price. The staff gave us just the right amount of attention and we all left very happy.

I found two pieces of sharp plastic in my meal and the way they solved the problem was to give me 0.90 of refund this is unacceptable i do not recommend this restaurant to anyone

I ordered a few different meals and they were all so bland and watery, I could honestly say I've had better microwave Currys and I will be avoiding ordering from here from now onwards

Very disappointed for the first time. Always found them very good before but all the dishes very bland. A dish claimed to be medium spiced was tasteless and the sag aloo was also completely bland besides needing a magnifying glass to find spinach. Two king prawns cost £3.50 each!!!! Needless to say I won’t be using them again.

Amazing service and food. Clientele leave something to be desired but that can't be helped. As an Asian food 100% but at 7-9pm on a Friday felt like the poor staff were working in the 80s! People in Hailsham are very odd. Will come here again xxx

Great food, and really nice staff. Good indian music to accomany food to make the experience complete. Clean restaurant and toilets. I sometimes order take away, and delivery is within the allocated time. Drivers are efficient and nice.

We were recommended to try this restaurant and even though Hailsham would not be the first place you would think to go for dinner, we are glad we did. The food here is really good, the onion bhaji’s were big, light & not greasy and full of flavour. We decided to have their specials for main including the king prawn & roast lamb, these dishes really did shine the king prawns really were king prawns and everything was well flavoured and delicious. This is not just your average Indian restaurant, it is tastefully decorated, the service was really good and the special dishes really wouldn’t be out of place in a restaurant in Brighton. Overall we would highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Poor value takeaway, £3.50 per prawn, sag paneer side dish was less than half full in small container. Pilau rice was overcooked, looked and tasted like plain rice. Management disinterested when I called back after eating. Will avoid in future.

Biryani was absolutely mediocre, flavourless. Only 2 Onion Bhajis in a portion as well, overcooked. way too much salt used in all dishes. For the prices, you expect food on the higher end. Can get a 10x better biryani for £7 in my local

Had a really lovely takeaway from here tonight. Absolutely delicious and arrived ahead of schedule.

Lovely greeters and servers, food delicious, the lady behind the counter made me a drink called floater, bloody lovely. The only down fall was we felt a little rushed with the popadom starter, we thought maybe 1st course was ready but that was not the case, apart from that will definately be back and would say give it a try for yourself, dont rely on reviews thats just someones opinion.

Experienced 2 dine ins. 1 before the rise in VAT which was 'quite' nice and the 2nd, 20% VAT was added when the bill arrived...Horrified was an understatement. My brother visited from London and fancied the sound of one of the main chicken meals. We thought let's try a takeaway. Worst decision of the weekend . Certainly wasn't 3rd time lucky. No taste, very bland and far too expensive Quite embarrassing really. Never again.

2nd curry we have had from here. Very happy. Best I've had since I can remember.

Restaurant is smart and the staff are nice. Pleasant food but nothing special. Didn’t realise until the bill came that VAT is not included in the prices on the menu. £53 for two people which included just one drink each.

We had a bad experience from there. We called and confirmed the timing and we reached the restaurant before 10pm. The guy who took order and served us was not looking happy all the time. Finally when we finished our meals, he came to us and told that we did something wrong that we went the place at that time, they have families and they want to go home early so we need to think about them before going there. We should go early ( where the timing of restaurant is until 11pm). We told that we called and confirmed before coming. Then he said, that is their rule, but we have to think about their families. I really don't understand the logic that the opening time is until 11:00 and we can't go at 9:50😏. Then why do they open that. .After having the food when we listen something like this is not good. We regret that we went to such a place where customers are treated like this.
