My
partner
and
I
decided
to
order
an
Indian
takeaway
and
chose
Rivaj
because
they
open
a
bit
earlier
on
a
Saturday
and
had
heard
very
positive
things
about
the
place.
Rang
for
the
meal
at
4pm
and
was
advised
that
it
would
be
ready
at
4.25.
Prepared
for
a
five
minute
delay
I
arrived
at
4.30.
Unfortunately
the
meal
was
not
ready
until
4.50.
That
would
have
been
acceptable,
if
someone
had
told
me
I
was
in
for
a
wait.
When
the
meal
eventually
came,
no
apology
was
proffered.
I
ordered
two
main
courses,
three
starters,
rice
and
naan.
The
total
cost
was
just
short
of
£40
which
was
quite
pricey
compared
to
our
normal
takeaway.
The
duck
Tikka
starter
was
disappointing
and
lacked
flavour.
The
chicken
Tikka
main
was
also
disappointing,
just
chicken
in
a
metal
container
with
none
of
the
tasty
onions
that
usually
accompany
this
dish.
The
sauce
that
came
with
it
was
bland.
Highlight
of
the
meal
was
the
Matar
Paneer
which
was
delicious.
King
Prawn
Balti
Masala
was
OK
but
not
worth
the
hefty
price
tag.
All
in
all
we
were
underwhelmed
and
quite
disappointed
as
we
had
been
looking
forward
to
a
first
class,
tasty
meal.
