I was treated to a meal here by friends and I wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and the lamb melted in the mouth. Good service too, the staff were pleasant and friendly. Would recommend.

Considering we often pick up takeaway but never ate in the restaurant I was expecting more tbh. The pakora portions for starter were depressingly mean compared to takeaway. Chicken pakora was also lukewarm. Main courses were good size and my lamb dish very good. Naan was nice but again a bit mean small size. It was a warm evening and we also had the less than lovely view of the bins from their emergency exit door that was open next to the bar. Also used dish towels draped over the radiator there didn’t seem too hygienic. Oh well, don’t imagine I’ll be rushing back. The Indian Times in Stonehouse does a much better sit down meal.

Best curry we've had in ages!!!! Booked this restaurant for the second night of our Babymoon stay in Strathaven and it didn't disappoint! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant itself is very modern with a traditional twist. We were spoiled for choice as the menu had a lot to offer and the smell of the food cooking made me want to sample everything! My partner decided on the Aloo Chana Poori for starters and I got the Mushroom Poori and then for our mains my partner got the Chicken Tikka Makhani Masala and I opted for the Chicken Tikka Punjabi Farms which had a lovely little kick to it! We went for plain pilau rice and and a Garlic Naan bread for the sides which was huge!!! The waiter described it as the size of an Elephants ear and he was not far wrong!!! Absolutely delicious meal from start to finish, would 100% recommend and would definitely visit again if we ever came back to Strathaven!

Food was amazing but service not so much, starter took half an hour and main course another 40 minutes after we had finished starter. Pudding was then served immediately and waiter announced we had to leave as they needed table back! Forgot items from main meal and asked one of party what it was he had ordered again! My son was starving as waited 70 minutes for his dinner :-( not sure we would return.

Mediocre restaurant. Food was a bit bland and disappointing, we had expected better things from this place as the Carluke branch seemed very popular - so popular I was unable to get through on the phone to book a table after 2 days of trying to call. We decided to travel further to Strathaven as a result. Very cramped restaurant, sat very close to everyone else, roasting hot, little ventilation. View of the river with rubbish dumped in it wasn't awfully inspiring. An expensive and disappointing meal out.

Birthday dinner surprise for me! I think the food was too rich for my tum as I spent most of my time in our toilet. My HD found his potato skin starter hard. Service was excellent in terms of politeness and approach was friendly!

First time here, can't fault it. If being picky the nan bread was a wee bit too sweet for me. Other than that my curry, a lamb pasanda and chicken pakora were faultless. Will definitely be back

This is a great Indian restaurant both for eating in or takeaway. Each dish is delicious and freshly prepared. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Can't recommend enough. Probably our family's favourite restaurant.

We have been twice now. The food is good but not great. We will go back but it's not at the top of the list of restaurants to go to.

We absolutely love this restaurant, have been for pre theatre/ had takeaway (tonight) and also experienced just pakora etc when they have been entertaining the locals etc (with live music during hangerfest and gala day) and at all times the food/service/price paid has been exceptional. Super friendly service and for a Saturday evening was very quick. Food was excellent, esp the special dish of the day. Generous portions and not bad priced either. Lovely building with great atmosphere, what a transformation from the old Cabin tearooms I used to know. Well worth a visit and will be back.

Our local Indian. Never disappoints and the food was excellent. I particularly like the pulled chucked spring rolls which are never on the menu but just ask for them.

A bit noisy - but the service was friendly and quick (not too quick, it is a restaurant after all). Haggis Pakora is a nice twist and the food was all excellent 👌

Really nice meal as always. Butter chicken really smooth and mild and cooked to perfection.

I had a starter of vegetable samosa. Unfortunately the pastry was so hard on it I struggled to cut it with my knife. I then had classic chicken curry which was lovely. Very tasty and lots of it.

Came here due to nice selection of vegan options. Food was good. Would love to see an Indian try to create vegan dishes such as a Korma and a chasni
