I am new to Aberdeen was walking around for a place to Dine. I noticed around 10 delivery drivers outside a restaurant. That itself was a pointer to what was in-store. I was tempted to order multiple things. But decided against it end went for non veg thali with kingfisher beer and followed by desert combo. It was one of the best south Indian thali I had after coming to UK. I was server by Mr. Ram. Very good hospitality as well. Will be surely coming back again to try other food. To top it of its affordable as well. worth every penny

A very authentic Indian restaurant. Every dish we ordered had it's unique and distinct flavour, unlike the same tomato/onion-based gravy that tastes identical and yet is sold as "authentic" Indian food all across Glasgow or maybe even Scotland. You have to try the food here to know the truth. Service was also very friendly, quick and exceptional right from the welcome to serving. Top-notch. Best part, it's budget friendly. Highly recommended. Must visit.

Always a treat coming to Rishi's. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with any items here. My personal favorite is their szechuan noodles. Every single one of the curries I've tried there so far have been amazing so just empty your wallet and go for it. A+++

Enjoyed an excellent meal. The dosa was beautifully made. Fresh ingredients. staff were lovely and helpful. My garlic nan was perfect, as was my main dish. Really great food cooked with care. Would try some more unusual dishes here, like fish curry. recommend.

It was my first time trying Indian and I had a lot of good things to say. The portions can be overwhelming, so be sure to order reasonably if it's for a group and check if you would require more. I will surely recommend them. Sitting at the heart of the city and close to several attractions that should interest visitors. Being walkable from Nescol, Bon Accord, King Street, Hutcheon, etc, means that it is centrally placed for newcomers into our city.

We had our daughters first birthday party in Rishi's on 28th June 2019. Rishi's has best chefs in the market and menu which was presented by the whole team was exceptional. Each item in our menu was flawless and tasty in each bite. They have also done lot of renovations now, which adds to the whole experience; interior colours are neutral for any occasion, you could possibly have in their party hall. All our guests including kids were happy with the menu and whole experience. Highly recommend them <3<3

We opted for the non-vegetarian and vegetarian thalis which were excellent value for money. The flavours were amazing! My mum and myself thoroughly enjoyed our meal on 6 Apr 2022. Great place to have a thali. Not forgetting the lassi.

Absolute gem 💎 in the centre of Aberdeen. We tried going there twice, on a Monday when it was closed (hence the edit recommendation), then on Tuesday again. It was worth the revisit. The staff are courteous and the food is pretty well flavoured. We ordered a wide menu all the way from North Indian to South Indian and all items were nicely done. I was a disappointed by the Schezwan Fried Rice for it was too “Schezwany”, could have done with less oil and the sauce. The Dosa and Vada were fresh and the Sambhar was oozing with a lot of authentic kadi patta flavour. Loved it.

I have been a cook for many years and a lover of Indian cuisine. I was in this restaurant for the first time on my birthday. I can say that I am very disappointed and even angry that I have only one stomach because the food is absolutely magically delicious. Dishes prepared by chefs sensually delight the palate and delight the taste buds. I fell in love with this place. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, clean and pleasant. Employees are full of professionalism. I will definitely come back to this magical Indian place again. Thank you.

When it comes to food and service I'm told I'm a nightmare. But from the minute we arrived to the min we left I could not falt anything, the staff were attentive and the food was amazing the flavours to texture and the freshness of the food I could tell my food was made to order and that's the way is should be. I will definitely be back.

We never get disappointed each time we visit Rishis. Thank you hari, veera, prabhu and mahinda for the hospitality. Chicken Kothu parotta, butter naan, paneer butter masala, veg noodles are our favourites

We ordered food and Chapatis were uncooked ,that's not good for health. I liked their Poori Aloo masala combination till now when you dine-in only.

I brought my Indian friends there and they just loved it so much. What more could I say? Also tried the Indian beer Kingfisher. Light but malty that's really good!

Absolutely fantastic food. Maybe even better than Glasgow's Rishi's. Good service staff. Enjoyed my time. Will be back. Highly recommend.

Best dish is Chicken Briyani. You will never miss Indian food once you step in here, authentic juicy chicken Briyani! Freshly prepared unlike other restaurants. Dosa, butter Naan and paneer butter masala reminds me A2B in Chennai. Busier place. Better to book and go. Taste of India. Thank you guys for such a wonderful experience.

One of the best South Indian food restaurants in Aberdeen. The prices are nominal and the food is exquisite. The service is exemplary and they have a decent selection of wines and alcohol. My favourite was the Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice.

Came here for the first time today and can easily say that we'll be coming back for more. Such a nice, warm and lovely scenery, absolutely amazing food, dosa was too good, would've had another but didn't wasn't to seem greedy. Nicest people who look after you so nicely and are there should you want anything else. Thank you for the amazing food and service.

I ordered a non veg thali and called up the restaurant to please not use red chilli powder in the curries but instead use fresh green chillies to make it spicy. They just sprinkled some cut green chillies over the top. Now i missed my days work due to intolerance of red chilli powder which gives me sinus issues. Their food is pre prepared and not freshly done. Even one of the chana masala curry was sent in a small container, same as size of the mixed pickles. Never expected that.

Ordered a take away last nigh and not sure if I didn't make it clear I wanted it delivered. Phoned to see where it was and the chap said they had it down for collection. Asked if they could deliver it and it arrived very promptly and still hot. We had a selection of things from the menu and really enjoyed our meal. Would recommend.

First visit in this place and it looks completely fine - good from the interior design. The prices are reasonable and the staff is nice. Now let us go down to the most important part of a restaurant review the food. Now first of all the portions are large and I could not even finish my main dish without being full so big pro. The starter dish which was the chicken trio was good but a tiny bit overcooked on certain areas. I did, however, find the biryani just ok rather than good. Not sure why but it had a weird more sweetish taste. The sauce that was given with it was also pretty average. Still a nice restaurant though.

We travelled all the way from Kinneff to Aberdeen yesterday to celebrate my birthday! We chose your restaurant for this special event! I ordered puri and cholle, We were both VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED- the cholle curry we ordered was so salty that it was inedible - I tried eating it with the puri to try and lessen the impact of the excessive salt but nothing helped! No offer was made to address this matter in an appropriate fashion! I was not offered a cost waiver of the allied costs or an alternative dish! Instead we were made to paid in full for AWFUL food!!!! That is unacceptable and totally unethical. My rights as a consumer were totally ignored by your staff! I paid you for food I could not eat as it was inedible. That is not correct! You may have won awards in the past but this dish was over-salted and we , as customers, should not have been made to pay for an inedible meal after we notified your staff of how awful it was! He just said sorry! I left hungry and angry! Shame on all of you, as this low quality meal does not represent the food we were told you are famous for! It was worthy of the dustbin! I will be posting this review on TripAdvisor and on any other food forum I find appropriate! Other people need to know what we experienced! Customer satisfaction should be your focus when serving a range of unique foods - instead my birthday meal was ruined by a heavy-handed addition of too much salt! Address this matter with the attention it deserves! Margot van Ryneveld ( a deeply disappointed customer !

Rishis is popular for serving high quality Indian cuisine in Aberdeen City centre area. They have very enthusiastic bunch of chefs and serving girls. All varieties of southern India dishes are authentically prepared here, specially Dosas are served with many different side dishes. Quantity wise its better to order individually as they won't be sufficient to share between two.

The place had one the best south indian dishes I have ever tasted, it was very busy and there were long lines of customers waiting but the staff was very courteous and polite, managed to take care of us friends in all the rush. Kudos to Mark for helping us select dishes and checking on us to see if all was satisfactory with the food, thoroughly enjoyed my lime water and lemon! Would definitely visit again!

Excellent selection of South Indian cuisine which exactly is what we were looking for. Large vegetarian sections on the menu as well which makes life easy. The food was very well done.
