Excellent staff and excellent food would highly recommend have been here twice and never dissapointed would return again

Rip off. One price in the menu and a completely different in the actual bill. Mojito £7.95 in the menu but suddenly £10.95 in the bill. Same with curry. They just put whatever price they want in the actual bill. Food OK but not the best. Wouldn't recommend.

Great Place. You can always tell a great Indian by the quality of their Bhaji they make an excellent one here. Naan’s we’re fresh and perfectly cooked, curry was incredibly flavoursome and the chicken was well spiced and fantastically soft. Prices are on the higher end but so is the quality. Highly recommended

Tried for the first time this evening, very friendly staff and prompt service made a great first impression. The food backed up the first impression as it was fantastic. Amazing depth of flavour in both of our dishes. We’ll definitely be back, my only regret is we didn’t go sooner Our new favourite Indian restaurant

Hi, my food order arrived on time, my order was complete, what can I say other than it was an absolutely fantastic meal, enjoyed everything about the meal, so lush , I can certainly recommend India lounge, I’ve had numerous meals at India lounge and always enjoyed them, it may sound a tad daft but the takeaway was even better? Keep up the amazing standards that you have achieved, everything was excellent, see you again soon cheers 🥂

First time taking our Eldest Son for an Indian Meal. The staff couldn't be more helpful, advising him on the different tastes and hotness of the Curry's. Excellent Meal, outstanding friendly Staff. Will definitely be visiting again.

Really nice place to find Indian food. The vibe is great. Feels just like an Indian restaurant. The quite spacious as well The seating arrangements are very nice. You can drop in with your family and have a great time at this place for sure. They serve drinks as well.

Food was very good. We enjoyed the meals we had......just one complaint.......your driver couldn't follow simple instructions. 5 phone calls it took to get our food delivered. Firstly he contacts me and and says he's in Domino pizza car park, would I come and get the food. Told him to come through gate entrance to the mill and its the building on the right, I'll be waiting. He drove through and instead of coming to the mill he drove around the flats on the left and ended up at the far end of the mill. 2 more phone calls and he appeared 100 yards away and wanted me to come to him. I pointed out to him where he should have been. The directions were simple enough!! It wasn't hard. 10 minutes between being in Domino's car park, 5 phone calls, before we received our food. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!😡😡

Christmas family meal. Great food, great service. Last in last out. All the staff went above and beyond. Can't wait for our next visit. Thanks for having us.

Great function room seats about 60 for special occassions. It has its own bar.you are allowed a DJ if you hire one much better with music the food is lovely all served together.you need book .gets booked up early you need a deposit per head to bbok the room.now closed down moved to platt bridge called vaspian.

The Web site said it was open, my booking was accepted and acknowledged by what's app but when we got there it was shut. I can't comment on the food,service or atmosphere but disappointed after a wasted journey.

Cracking food/service and well worth the walk from the town centre.

Good Food friendly and helpfull staff who could not do enough for us. Chef will even tweak your dish to suite your taste. Even coked two trial dishes for a friend when they found out she did not like curry, best corma I have tasted but to strong for her. Looking forward to the opening their new restaurant in Platt Bridge.

We have been going to and using as take away from it first opening and I think I have reviewed India Lounge before but I am just reiterating what I have already said, top food, top staff and we have tried most of the dishes, all really nice, my favourite is the spicy Naga, keep up the good work and keep making the really nice food, a credit to Scholes this place really. 👌🏻👏🏻

Best Indian takeaway in Wigan by a long shot, I can’t bring myself to try any other now. Been going around 10 years and it’s never disappointed.

Our favourite Indian Restaurant, food always fantastic whether eat in or take out. Service is excellent, staff and management very attentive and friendly, make sure you've always got a drink and they come to chat with you, make sure you're enjoying yourself. If you go regularly they even remember your usual drink and ask you if that's what you want as soon as you go in. Service is absolutely fantastic - nowhere else compares!!

One of the best restaurants I have ever dined at! Food is excellent, service is the best and waiting time between courses is minimal. You get a personal waiter to look after your needs through your visit and will tailor you meal to your taste. Portions are big and you will always come out stuffed!

Absolutely a place worth stopping by, the food is great and fresh, the prices are reasonable and it is always clean there. Kudos.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've never experienced anything like it... Booking in with staff for track and trace due to COVID19 refused to serve me as I wouldn't give them my full address (not required by. Gov) then the water stated it doesn't matter as the information would be binned the next day, when it is required for 21 days by law. 0 social distancing anywhere, the staff are not wearing face covering what so ever!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! The staff are easily confused, bringing orders to our table that we never ordered then bringing orders that have already been received. The staff are wearing dirty uniform and poorly presented, decor outdated and you are guaranteed a slow service and food so greasy the Yanks want to invade the plate!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!

This is a bizarre place. Can't remember why we chose to go but my husband found the nuclear war history interesting. I found the way people lived and the examples of old equipment interesting. The children loved doing the mouse trail as we went around. Everyone was happy and a good time was had by all (unexpectedly)

Great Curry House What a lovely find, got to be one of the best curry houses in Wigan. Location Plenty of parking near the restaurant, was modern and comfortable inside. Service was good, friendly and polite. Food Starter was good, had the Seekh kebab, no complaints. Main, I had the Shashlik Korai Jalfrezi, it was excellent, very tasty and just the right amount of spice, great quality. Wine, this was a major surprise, the red house wine was amazing, 1 of the best red wines I’ve had in a very long time, very smooth, would highly recommend it. No complaints, would definitely visit again if I was back in the area. £12.95 for a 5 course meal....an absolute bargain for the quality you receive.

I was quite disappointed with a food and service to be fair and I was really looking forward to it. Orders were messed up and both waiter and manager insisted that it s our fault that we gave the wrong order only to realised that they mixed up tables. To top it all off u had to ask manager to order hot tea and chicken tika-masala was a tomato passata with coconut cream no taste whatsoever, won't be returning there again

We met with friends at this place for a meeting. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was very successful. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we had a great feeling. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

Used to be our favourite place but since the owner left it’s gone so downhill. Awful service, can’t remember that you’ve booked and shoving tables together when you get there. Then served people that had gone in after us, when we questioned this they became quite argumentative. It wasn’t busy at all, I would have understood if it was. Such a shame but definitely won’t be returning again. Food is still good but not worth the awful awful service.
