I visited with my friends on Thursday evening. We booked in advance and was very busy for Thursday, which shows just how good the restaurant is. Staff showed us to our table and gave us time to look through the menu and chat. We had poppadoms to start. I had Lamb balti, which came with a plain naan bread. This was just incredible. Left me very full. I also ordered mushroom rice that went with this dish. I also had a diet coke to drink all coming to Β£21. Will definitely be back. Parking on the road or in the small car park.

Super nice! Was my first experience of an Indian restaurant in Norfolk after moving here. The service was excellent, polite friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious and priced very reasonably. I would whole heartedly recommend the restaurant and will definitely return πŸ™β˜ΊοΈ

I live very close to Attleborough and ever since the Rose of India opened I have enjoyed both takeaway meals and dining in the restaurant. The food is always fresh, well cooked and spiced and plenty of it. Having been a vegetarian for many years there is plenty of choice for me and they will make almost any choice on the menu into a veggie option if you ask them. The staff are particularly friendly and helpful and it's always a pleasure to go there. The Rose of India has always been a favourite and whilst the standards are this high I will continue to visit.

Fantastic meal! Great service, attentive staff team, busy busy busy on Saturday evening when we visited - a great sign and obviously doing a roaring trade which is brilliant to see. Thank you for giving us a table at such short notice, we thoroughly enjoyed your food, service, atmosphere and, your restaurant. We shall pop back soon Regards, Douglas Valentine

Recently visited for a 21st birthday celebration meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great service even though the restaurant was busy and the food was very good, fresh and arrived in reasonable time considering how busy they were. They had options for two of our party who are vegans. On learning this was a birthday celebration the staff brought a birthday cake with candles and sang happy birthday at the table which was unexpected and, I thought, a really nice gesture. Will definitely be visiting again soon and can recommend the food to any lovers of Indian food.

I ate here tonight and the staff were really accommodating. They can make a lot of the vegetarian options vegan for you. The food was really lovely and very reasonably priced. If I lived locally I could see myself being a regular!

Bit of a last minute, late arrival. We got there at almost 10pm, fancied a bite to eat returning from evening out. They more than happily accommodated us with a table, and our food came out quickly and was delicious. In and out within the hour, no fuss. Been here a few times and the food is top notch, best Indian food in attleborough.

I visited this place on 31st August from Hampshire while visiting my Son. The food was absoloutly delicious, best Indian we've had for a while. Portions were good, food was hot and service was excellent Raj was very lovely and friendly. Only problem I have is I wished I lived nearer lol. All three of us said how lovely and fresh the food was. A great experience.

I attended the Rose of India on Friday night with my wife and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The General Manager/Host was a man called "Raj" he's very sociable despite the busy environment and has a hand in everything. The service was prompt, the food was delicious & very generous in portions as well as being presented beautifully. My own personal wish would be for the Jalfrezi to be slightly hotter and the sauce to be more thick but understanding that Indian food is regional the chefs I have no qualms with my meal as it was delicious. I will absolutely be attending Rose of India again in the near future and will recommend here going forward. Keep up the good work.

Feel so awful for writing this review as I have had a great experience years ago. I booked a large family meal for my birthday on the 22/12/2021. On the phone I booked for 8 people & a high chair. When we arrived we all sat down. After waiting around for a while I asked for a high chair for my 7 month old son to be told that they did not have any. (Not that they were all being used) that they did not have what’s so ever. I was given no apology. We had already ordered our food by then and I had two smaller children who were very hungry. I spent 99% of my time holding my son standing as given his age sitting on my lap he wanted (to pull on glasses, places etc). I could not enjoy my food. We did not order any extras or desserts as we were very uncomfortable and just wanted to go home. Not somewhere I will be going back to. We also felt extremely uncomfortable by one of the waiters. If you have children especially under the age of 1-2 years this isn’t the place to go.

The food is serve with all quality and safety. Even if you visit this place for a first time you can find a advice from the chef for better he find what feast will better suit you. From vegan to not spice and hot spice main courses, starters and appetisers you will delight with a single and unique taste of the Indian homemade food. Is definitely a place to back and totally recommended.

I was with a couple friends and i promise you the food had no taste. It was so bland. The manager wasnt wearing shoes and could see his toes lol. Very unprofessional.

Often order takeaways. Food always comes hot and is very nice, delivery arrives usually without the hour from where I live which is about 4 miles away. Prices are decent. The lamb Rogan Josh is really good.

I always go for the traditional dishes; madras, dansak and saag. The takeaway did not disappoint, they use the finest ingredients. Thoroughly enjoyed by the family and my son reminded me to leave a review too :) Thank you

Regular visitors here for several years now. Raj and the staff are all smart, polite, helpful and knowledgeable about their menu. Will alter dishes to suit your palette. The food has been a consistently high standard for some time, from Korma to Naga extra hot. Will return time and again. 10/10.

Having had our first takeaway from here this evening we are definitely going back. All dishes were well spiced and flavoursome and portion sizes spot on. The only thing that let it down was the poppadom as it was a little burnt and not to my personal liking.

Had a takeaway from here tonight. Delivery was on time, no complaint there. We ordered 2 veggie dishes which were spot on and 2 chicken dishes. One korma one madras. In both the chicken was rock hard like it had been reheated. The madras was really watery. No taste or spice to it. Also ordered a keema naan which had no meat in at all. Only eat half of it and the rest went in the bin as it was not worth eating. Very poor response from the restaurant when we telephoned to tell them. Offered a discount when we order again which we will not be doing. Definitely one of the worst currys i have ever had, having been to many different curry houses all across the country. Cannot recommend highly enough that you do not order from here.

I have used rose for delivery for about 5-6 weeks now. What a wonderful service and every curry is spot on. I like my curries a bit hotter and they have altered my orders to suit me. Bang on highly recommended πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ‘

Unfortunately we had quite a wait for our food, although when it arrived it was very tasty. The member of staff who came out at the end was extremely nice , but the staff who serve were a little short and abrupt. The staff member or perhaps owner was very kind to my step son, and saved the evening.

Slow service. All four different meals the sauce tasted the same just a different colour. Paying the bill their card reader refused 3 times .I was accused of having no money in my account. The 4th time it was accepted. I checked my on line account and was charged on all 4 times. They were not apologetic.

Lamb chops were awful, didn’t look like chops at all, wasn’t done properly just sauce thrown over them, chicken tikka again was like tomato sauce, staff hovered round and made you feel you had to eat and leave quickly, informed 2 waiters but they just walked away, try another one

Avoid, avoid, avoid Horrific experience from start to finish. It was recommended by a friend as a place for a family meal so thought it would be ok but I was extremely disappointed. The staff were very forceful in bringing out all the dishes and didn't actively listen to the food orders so missed out items. They kept staring at our table all evening and felt they wanted to get rid of us. I ordered a Tandoori chicken but it came out dry and looking like KFC chicken wings? They didn't think about portion sizes either and seemed chaotic. Go to other restaurants in town. Maybe have stricter uniform policy for wearing long hair tied back if handling food. Terrible quality
