You should definitely go! Visited on a Thursday night and the place was packed. As I was on my own they managed to fit me in So glad they did, food was amazing They even arranged for their delivery driver to give me a lift back to my hotel!

We went to Tabla with our friends with a lot of expectations as we had heard about its chef and had seen some great reviews about it online, to our surprise all our expectations went in vain when we got the starters , firstly the taste was not at all good, although the food was warm but the taste was sour and it felt that they had added vinegar into it, when we got the mains the taste further deteriorated , 3 out of 5 curries had the sour taste and there was a pungent smell coming from each one of them which again felt like they had added vinegar into it, when we complained about it , they simply denied it and said that they had beet root in it which was not obvious as colour of the curry would change if it had beet root and also the colour would change as well, we just asked them To take all the mains which had a disgusting taste, we asked them to replace with lentils which was the only dish which was okay, To our surprise instead of being sorry they had added all the mains in the bill which we returned, when we pointed out about it they deducted it again with an excuse. After all the hassle we took to go all the way down to Perth to have food in Tabla it was a serious set back for all of us and it was one of our friends birthday so overall not at all a good Indian place to dine in. Would request the owner to look into it and make sure they try and improve the experience for other customers.

Need to book the table in advance well because the food is so awesome that the place is quite popular. All the staff were amazing and work with a smile even though place was extremely busy. And I have to mention Avi, he is just tremendous at doing his job.

We ordered their £20 special early bird dinner. Taste was okay, but not worthy. If I had reviewed the dinner menu, I would go for their dinner menu instead. BTW, they sent us double portions of nan/rice and charged us for them. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he refused to fix it!!

Wir hatten viel Glück, das wir so früh angekommen sind ja der freundliche Kellner hat uns sofort einen kleinen Tisch angeboten. Es war viel reserviert, was ich nach den Besuch heute erhielten würde. Wir haben sofort Eiswasser mit Zitrone und die Karten bekommen. Sehr aufmerksamer freundlicher Service und mega leckeres Essen. Hier wurde ich 6 Sterne geben wenn ich könnte. Es war alles super lecker mit frischen Zutaten. Die Portionen sind sehr reichhaltig und richtig lecker.

Wow wow wow what a fantastic meal my son treated me to tonight. I had a masala it was so tasty, the mixed pakora was 1st class and the sauce with it was I'd say the best I've tasted. Wish I'd remembered to take pictures before starting our meals, we my son and I will definitely be going back. Without thinking I'd mention to the manager my son was treating me to the meal as part of my 65th birthday and to my surprise the manager gifted me a nice bottle of wine..

My partner and I really enjoyed the Valentine’s Day set menu! I’m a coeliac and a pescatarian and the staff were so accommodating and lovely, really made us feel welcome. The restaurant was warm, softly lit and the music wasn’t too loud - perfect for a date night. Can’t wait to go back!

Really friendly team and welcoming to walk ins. The menu has a dedicated vegetarian/ vegan section which is amazing for those with dietary requirements. The food is some of the best Indian food I've tasted, very flavoursome and good portions - I would highly recommend this place - 10 / 10 Thanks guys.

The food here is wonderful!! We went without a reservation and were able to get a table but they were very busy so a reservation would be a good idea! The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was so, so good. Our favourites were the pani puri (so much flavour, such great textures, a must order) and the aloo gobi. We loved that the vegetarian dishes were able to be ordered in half sizes so we could try more things!

Great curry! And Lochlan was a great waiter at the top of his game 10/10; give this guy a raise and a brand new card machine; professionals can't work with amateur equipment. We'll be back for sure!

A delightful Indian restaurant in Perth, with halal meat (apart from the Haggis), interesting selection of starters and decent main courses, portion sizes won't disappoint. Mango lassi was outstanding, thick and luscious, great vegetarian options as well which were very tasty. Chicken and lamb all freshly cooked so that was excellent. Service was good and responsive. You can also choose to have things mild or spicy.

Amazing tasty authentic Indian food and great service. If you looking for authentic Indian curry taste then this is the best restaurant in Scotland. Staff is very polite and great hospitality. All food was very good and Bombay masala Chai/tea was the best!!

Amazing little buzzing restaurant! Make a table reserveration! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with the menu! The food was amazing and quickly on the table! As weird as it may sound but you have to try the haggis starter dish (Haggis Bonda), they were amazing.

What a great meal. The flavours in the lamb shank and Murgh moonlight were phenomenal. The korma sauce was outstanding too. It was great to see the chefs working the tandoor oven while we were eating. If we are back in Perth, we will certainly be booking a table again

We had dinner here tonight and I can honestly say this was the best curry I've ever had, and that is some statement! The flavours were amazing, and my husband's curry was just right in terms of spice. Also brilliant value for money, it's a shame we live 500 miles away or this would be a regular for us. The staff were also really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We will be returning although not soon enough! 10/10

Great place on a busy night. I eat a lot of Indian restaurant food because I love my hot spicy meals and this place was great. Vindaloo was amazing, I want to say thank you again 👍🙂

We visited the restaurant last week, the food was awesome. The taste was very much authentic India food and service was also quick. We loved that the owner came personally to speak to us and we were served complimentary salad as well. The restaurant was bustling with people and had a decent ambience. The only negative was that, the place was a little tight and seating may be a touch cramped. But all in all, super place to taste some good Indian cuisine! Would love to visit it again on our next travel to Scotland!

Busy, bustling atmosphere in Tabla this evening. We didn't make a reservation in advance and had to wait 5-10mins for a table. But it was worth the wait. Service was attentive, food was second to none and the recommendations were not unfounded. Will def be back when next in Perth!

Loved it! Everything we ordered had such a great blend of spices - just the right amount of everything to create this pleasant taste. I had coconut chicken korma and I'd have it again :)

Wandered round Perth and stumbled upon this restaurant. So glad we booked earlier as it was full when we returned and it was a Monday night. The food was superb - the fresh spices and really good meat made such a beautiful taste. Plus - meals on rhe menu we’ve seen nowhere else. Excellent!

As we arrived at about 7pm ish after being at the races all day, we could see quite a few tables had been reserved, however, we were made to feel very welcomed and after juggling a couple of tables we were seated within five minutes. Service was excellent and orders were taken quickly and efficiently. It was nice to see that the menue was varied and saw dishes we hadn't seen before, so nice it wasn't run of the mill fare. The food arrived and it was delicious! We travel extensively and were please to taste authentic dishes well cooked. Well done to all the staff, it was a pleasure to eat there.

Not enough superlatives! The meal we had last night was Fantastic. Beautiful, family run, restaurant with friendly and attentive staff and meals cooked to perfection.

Best curry I have ever had, and probably the best I ever will. Could not rate more highly, the staff were amazing in particular Abdul, he went out of his way to be kind and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We turned up as eight hungry golfers and left very satisfied. We didn't have a booking but none the lest we were catered for. Staff were very helpful, restaurant was very clean and tidy, and the food was very well presented and tasty. If you find yourself in Perth on a Wednesday night and feeling hungry, head for Tabla. You won't be disappointed.

Best Indian food we have ever had. Flavoursome, fresh and the meat was so tender. Very polite staff who went out of their way to make sure we didn’t miss our train. Thank you! 🙂
