Went there last night! Food was absolutely delicious, wine good, presentation brilliant, and the service beyond expectation! The team was very helpful, and have us great advise and information re the different dishes. Definitely worth visiting.

We've been back many times now and have recommended to friends and family alike and they all love it. Each time we have tried different dishes and we're never disappointed. The chef and staff are amazing, friendly and always helpful. A great atmosphere and we never fail to have a fabulous time. Well worth a visit.

What a fantastic restaurant, food was excellent service and staff was fantastic. By far the best India in the area and one of the best meals I've had for years.it The staff were great with the kids. If you in the area, check this place out, great for a visit on the way home from Alton Towers.

Excellent Indian restaurant. We arrived on-spec early on a Sunday evening and, despite being very busy, we were squeezed in (we were asked to vacate the table by a partciular time, but that was fine.) The staff were great - arrentive and very friendly. The food was excellent; the quality of the popadum dips is always a bit of an indication as to the general quality of the food. Here, they were great. The mains (including naans) were also excellent and we'd happily go back. Pro tip 1: book a table. We were lucky, you may not be. Pro tip 2: the entrance is, indeed, down what looks to be the driveway to the left of the Hunters pub. There are signs and you just have to trust them...

I came her for the first time with my family and the food was absolutely spectacular. The staff was very kind and friendly as well. I personally tried the chicken tikka South Indian and thought it was absolutely spot on as the flavour would just burst in your mouth. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to eat out, 10/10

Went to Gandhi's on Sunday night - when the staff discovered my birthday was the day before, they came with a beautiful starter for us on the house. The staff were amazing and couldn't have done more to cater for my vegan diet and the food was very well presented, super tasty and there was plenty of it. We both really enjoyed our visit and it won't be long before we go back - thanks to everyone at Gandhi's for a great dining experience.

Overall a great experience. Busy Saturday night, nice venue, fresh, tasty food and excellent service. Set behind the Hunter pub which is a locals pub for sure. The restaurant is quite different. Only dropped a star because the curries though rated 2 chillies were milder than our taste. You never know how high restaurants set the bar for hotness!! Would recommend.

Wow 👌 gandhi proper upped it's game 10/10 pub also reopened.. Great selection of beers and food as good as we have eaten in a long time. Service amazing and staff a pleasure😋

The best Indian restaurant in Staffordshire by far. We go 2 times a week the welcome you get when you walk through the door is excellent. The customer service is the best Ive ever come across Mia is quite happy to go through the menu with you so if it's your first time you will be very well looked after. The food is to die for fresh hot and very tasty. Well done Ali, Mia, Billy all the chef's and anyone I failed to mention.

By a long way the best Indian restaurant I have ever been in and I have been in hundreds plus. I went there last night with my family and a two year old baby I would just like to say a huge thank you to the staff who went the extra mile to make our visit extra special they even send a driver out to fetch some fruit shoot for my granddaughter. The service was absolutely amazing and when the food came that was even better nothing was too much trouble I will definitely be going there on a regular basis 1000 out of 1000 top marks thank you

Really great restaurant. Fantastic food which tasted great and was presented beautifully. Friendly staff and plenty of choice on the menu. I visited on a quiet night in mid December, purposefully looking for somewhere that wouldn’t be too busy with Christmas parties. Very happy to have stumbled on this gem, and will be back with friends. I can see why they have won so many awards! Thank you.

An absolutely fantastic Indian restaurant. And as an added bonus it has a nice little country pub attached to it. Happy days all around if you like a lovely beer and a fantastic curry together in one area. The restaurant offers four courses for £14.95 Monday to Thursday. And every course is top quality. You can choose from anything off the main menu for your starters and mains which in itself is brilliant. Top quality food with amazing staff that are so friendly and attentive. A lovely clean place as well. An absolute must for beer and curry lover's alike.

My wife went to the Gandhi Indian Restaurant yesterday evening for the first time, with two friends. We all agreed that it was one of the best Indian meals we have ever eaten and, we've been to dozens of different Indian restaurants over the years. We started with popadoms and pickles and for mains we tried something different: Palok Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Ghandi Special Bhuna and South Indian Jalfreizi with rice and naan breads. The presentation was exquisite and the food was simply divine. The service was outstanding too. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you Ghandi Indian Restaurant, I just wish we'd found you sooner.

A small restaurant behind another business in a small village setting. Off road parking. You have to cross the road to get to the restaurant. However, the staff told us that they are developing a parking right next to the restaurant through a small lane. All dishes had different taste and not made with the same gravy as in typical Indian restaurants. Nan are authentic made in clay oven. Surprisingly, it turned out that chicken dishes were all Halal, didn't ask about meat dishes if they were also Halal. Must try at least once if you like Indian food. I didn't like owner's response to one of the customer's review.

The service really was the highlight. Have never had better service from staff. You are catered to. Attentive and well mannered. The food was such a delight. I loved the garnishes on the side. The effort was appreciated from staff and chefs. Atmosphere is good and location is also really lovely. Its a gem of a place. Starters aren't overpriced like most places. Mains were priced as average. Food was tasty. Well done to all hard working staff, credit to the business indeed.

Really great food and service. Well presented and really tasty. We've tried a lot of the menu now and have not had a bad one. Recently took 30 of us for a family meal, not one person had anything other than the highest praise and all will be visiting again on their own and as a group - the banquet is immense value, especially for such award winning quality food. Manager is great, chef comes out for a chat, drinks are reasonably priced (and you can get a Malabar!). Absolute gem of a curry house.

Some time since I last visited because of covid but I do not regret going. Every part of my meal was excellent and well cooked. The service was polite, efficient and speedy. Go - you will not be disappointed.

Stayed in the area for one night only and this place welcomed us in where others were closed. We were the only couple there but that didn’t matter. Service and friendliness of the staff was amazing. Had some lovely chats. And the food was gorgeous too. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend. F&J xx

Hadn’t been here for a while, but thought we’d treat ourselves. There were new chairs and a couple of new staff members, but what hadn’t changed was the food quality. My lamb dish was superb! Tender chunks of lamb, with sweet aubergine in a tasty sauce. Mushroom rice and peshwari naan were equally yummy. Food took a little longer to arrive than perhaps we’d like but we weren’t in a hurry. Service with a smile and a warm welcome and made to feel valued as customers.

Update: went to sit in the restaurant, couldn't fault the menu choice. The food arrived promptly and hot. Very tasty and beautifully presented. Customer service was amazing and all the staff were attentive and couldn't of done any more for us. Highly recommend 10000000% Had a takeaway from here a few times now and not had one issue. The food is always very fresh, tasty and hot. I would definitely recommend them, the staff are very polite and welcoming too.

Went for a meal with the family over the weekend to try out the new menu the food was really good Presentation was amazing the service was excellent we will definitely be coming back
