Very much enjoyed our stay here at the Manor! Loved the traditional features mixed together with the beautiful decor of the rooms. Very welcoming and friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. We stayed twice on 2 seperate occasions now and have not been disappointed. Rooms are lovely and clean with fresh bedding and linen. Soft lighting with a touch lamp making it easy for early morning feeds with a newborn. Very family friendly and would highly recommend.

Had my daughters 18th birthday party in the restaurant tonight . From the moment we arrived we were welcomed from the lady on reception to the bar man , then all the lovely staff in the restaurant. Nothing was to much , they were friendly and made us feel welcome . I would definitely come again . Well done gang ! Bottoms up xx

Great staff to be honest , room we stayed in was huge and had great views over the grounds , very quiet but perfect for resting after long days visiting. Unfortunately the room is very tired and needs updating and modernising , bathroom shower door feel off rails on first use and trunking cabling was hanging off wall , carpets had been burnt by iron it looked like, wall paper and window surrounds lifting. I love the location of this hotel and the building is amazing , staff are ever so helpful and they are keeping people happy. The management needs to refurbish this amazing Manor House if they did it would surely be 5 star all the way.

Room set up beautifully but cleaner had missed picking up last guests rubbish. The spa bath was very temperamental but when it eventually came on it was nice. Staff (and pet cat) all very welcoming. Beautiful views and walks to be had.

Great two night stay on business. Very good price. Place needs a little bit of upgrading but doesn't detract from the overall experience. Restaurant attached to the hotel was really good great service and real fine food. I will be staying here again real soon.

I attended afternoon tea with Santa with my daughter niece and sister and we had an amazing time. Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our table by a member of staff. The table was decorated very well and within minutes a member of staff had brought our hot chocolates and mulled wine! Which was stunning. The children had the opportunity to do some arts and crafts and they made amazing keepsakes. When we arrived back at our table our afternoon tea was brought to our table which consisted of a variety of different cakes and sandwiches! High standard food. A short while later Santa came into the room and made his short visit around the tables to say hello. The children then had a story with mrs clause by the fire which really set the mood and was so cosy. Santa then sat down and children had the opportunity to see Santa and have photos and a gift. Would highly recommend as ever event I have attended has exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be booking for future events. I would like to say a huge thank you to the friendly staff for making our visit one to remember once again.

Visited for a Bridgend College art exhibition so cannot comment on rooms, service, etc. But reception and communal spaces look lovely and the grounds and location are beautiful.

A beautiful setting, staff were really helpful and welcoming our bespoke room was glorious. A good breakfast, meal was tasty and lots of food. We had a good evening at the murder mystery and will be back for another event soon.

I have photographed a few weddings at this venue. The staff and Manageress have always been so lovely and helpful. The grounds are stunning for wedding photos and there are some lovely spots indoors if it's raining. Cant wait to shoot here again soon!

This is a great luxury hotel that offers spacious and comfortable rooms. The breakfast is always lovely, and if you can book into the Bokara restaurant adjoining for a meal - one of the best Indian's going.

This is an absolutely beautiful Manor house. The staff are absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful. The rooms and building are very tired and could do with an upgrade, modernisation and a huge amount if money spent on it instead of patching with paint and filler and making do. The age of the building is not represented in some of the decor and it could be so so much nicer if the owners gave it a full upgrade. Our room had a broken window, a worn carpet, tired looking fixtures and fittings and wallpaper coming off the walls. The bed was comfortable and it had amazing views. Despite of the upgrade needed I would stay again.

Was there for a wedding a while back but didn't stay in the hotel. Food and service were okay but not outstanding. The location is good and gives nice photo opportunities. It felt weird that the loos were shared with the Indian (?) restaurant at the back.

Private function which included a buffet curry but there was no chicken in the curry. Had to wait for some to be added to the sauce, but the food was very tasty and we had a lovely evening. Great venue.

There's a railway at the bottom of the garden, that they fail to mention, the staff where brilliant but the building is tired and in need of serious maintenance, they don't have a restaurant only an Indian restaurant at the rear ,Indian menu is good but the English section is dyre, our room had broken glass in the window, the plug holes in the bathroom gurgled and smelt of bad drains when the floor above used their bathroom. Altogether a poor experience for the cost

Requested a quiet room but was told there was no wedding the night we had booked so it should be quiet. Oh how wrong they were. The wedding party for the next day had arrived and allowed their kids to run amock up and down the corridor until the early hours. The walls are so thin we should hear everyone's conversations as they walked/ran past our room. Not the hotels fault, of course. However they really need to upgrade the soundproofing, get decent bedroom doors and put quiet door closing mechanisms on the corridor and bedroom doors. Our bathroom wall had light shining through at the top from the room next door. The dividing wall must have moved to create such a large crack. Meant that the people getting ready for the wedding from 5.30am woke us up. I could actually hear every word they were saying and everything they did in the bathroom. To make things worse there was no way to close our bathroom door so I couldn't shut any of the light or sound out. How can a hotel not have any way to close a bathroom door from the outside? You could lock it from the inside but not just pull it closed. Breakfast was cheap bacon and sausages, cheap bread to toast on the unpredictable toaster and a few boxes of cereal. Very disappointing. Nothing to do in the evening. Were told we could walk the extensive grounds but it took us about 5 mins. Family room was basic but functional. The double bed made a horrible noise every time you moved so that added to the list of things keeping everyone awake. Wish we'd stayed in a travel lodge and saved some money.

Attended a wedding of some dear friends here. We had a wonderful time here. I did not stay the night, but I am told that the rooms were lovely.

My Wife and I finally got married at this beautiful Manor House last Saturday. When I say finally, it is because we were due to get married in 2020, but then covid got in the way. From the moment we went to view The Court Colman Manor the staff could not have been any better, they were helpful and friendly from the moment we stepped through the doors! Then when we had to postpone our wedding, I can honestly say the staff were just as upset about it as we were, not only were they willing to move our date 3 times to accommodate us but they also made sure we felt no stress in doing so. On our wedding day, the staff and especially Alison made our day go as smoothly as possible, we did not have to do a thing and nothing was too much for them! They kept us informed with everything without being over bearing and they also joined in on all of the fun too! The food was exceptional, the portion size for each course was perfect! There is so much more I could say about The Court Colman Manor but I would like to tell anyone that is reading this, if you’re thinking of booking here for your wedding, DO IT! You will not be disappointed! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Stayed for Wedding of wich we could not fault a beautiful day. Went for a meal on the eve of wedding which was horrendous just slop and awful. Breakfast is cheap and nasty with cheap ingredients a real disappointment. The food on the actual wedding though was fabulous . Hotel is a listed building looking tired in places stair carpet threadbare and not suitable for people with disabilities as no lift. Nice for a wedding but not for a stay and room prices do not reflect the amenities..there are none and a non edible breakfast. Needs a tweek as could be perfect!

I was here for a function a few days ago and was very impressed. The building is a large and impressive period manor house, the surrounding grounds and gardens are beautiful and well kept and the staff were helpful, friendly and polite.

Ive photographed so many weddings here at this beautiful wedding venue. Endless stunning photographic opportunities. Gorgeous staircase, stunning bedroom for the bride to get ready in. Food is superb and the main reception function room is perfect. Staff are so professional and friendly. Bride & Groom couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to photograph my next wedding at Court Colman.

This is an amazing location with the best curry we have ever had, and the friendliest staff. We travel from Swansea West frequently to dine and often stay too. It's always worth the 45 minute drive each way. Thank you all. Steve & Deb.

I shouldn't really leave stars for the rooms as I only dined here at the Indian restaurant. As for the Indian - fantastic! It's different to the standard Indian takeaway!

Room very clean and pleasant. The bathroom light didn't work and this was fixed in a timely manner and, unexpectedly, drinks on the house as a very nice gesture for any inconvenience. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful and we and our dog were accommodated fully. The staff even took a fully laid up table (prettily displayed serviettes etc), into the bar so that we had a comfortable evening meal with our guests. having the dog, quite understandably, meant we couldn't be served in the actual restaurant. The food was amazing. Altogether a relaxing and comfortable stay. The bed was also very comfortable.

The pond could do with a little treatment and new stock. Its a beautiful place, lots more potential though, it could be even more wonderful if a bit of money and thought was spent on some general upkeep and renewal of things that need it.

I have visited this venue twice now the first My Daughter treated me to Mother’s Day lunch which was so bad we didn’t eat but instead was given a gift voucher for the alleged award winning Bokhara Brasserie Indian restaurant which we have visited tonight, yet again we did not eat the meal, the first thing I noticed was the chipped side plate , the starter was bland but still had hoped for the Curry , this was the worst thing I have ever tasted very bland (no heat apart from that from the microwave ) so much so I would say tasted more like a gravy despite the manager telling me her mouth was on fire, another inedible meal. Even when we complained to the manager we were told we would have to email in for a refund before all staff promptly disappeared and we were left high and dry in reception. Appalling service even worse food how they won awards is beyond me

Despite many emails confirming the availability of vegan options on the 'award winning' menu for our stay, we arrive only to be told that the restaurant doesn't open on a Monday night! Total shambles, wouldn't go back if you paid me

Firstly, all staff I encountered were really friendly and welcoming. Secondly, the location, the views, were insane, driving up towards the building you see how beautiful it is, how amazing the scenery is, shocking that I live so near and have never seen views like it. The hotel itself is really aesthetically pleasing, it's big and grand. Going towards the back of the property it does look like it needs a little TLC. Front of staff were super helpful. We had the Moroccan room and it was so pretty and colourful, the bed is huge and so comfortable (we had an amazing sleep), there are lots of different bits of furniture and art that suit the room so much. There were a few bad points though, there were some mismatching furniture that did look slightly out of place, there were only two small lamps (that didn't look right in that specific room) and one didn't work, it would have benefited from more lighting that wasn't as harsh as the main ceiling light, the cleanliness wasn't as good as I'd hoped, although it was clean, just not as clean as other hotels I've stayed in (although I do understand it's an old building and rooms are huge), the worst though was that the bath, which is an amazing feature to the room, when used stunk of rotten eggs, having looked into this apparently it's something to do with a build up of bacteria in the jets, which is a shame as at that point with the smell it was unappealing to use. Overall the hotel and the room were really nice, it just lacked some little things that would have made the stay so much more enjoyable, ensuring all features in the room work (the lamp, spotlights in the bathroom didn't work, the mirror in the bathroom looked like a LED mirror but didn't work) would have made our stay a really lovely one. I'm unsure if I'd visit again, purely for the reasons I've mentioned again, but with a little improvement the hotel could honestly be amazing.
