As a foreign guest (The Netherlands) we really enjoyed staying in the resort! Beside the great location, the staff is really welcoming and the owner is an amazing character that speaks perfect English. We were lucky to join an amazing evening program including traditional dancing and singing. I really recommend this place!

Lovely place but taking away one star as the property is now getting old. Food is good. Altogether Sirpur is a great place for a short weekend trip. It has nature, it has history and historical monuments as well.

Nice place for visit, quite big resort, not all rooms has bath tub, but rooms are big, service is good, late night food is not available, quite underrated in terms of promotion, location is at just entry of sirpur, food is good ..non veg is also available.

Hiuen Tsiang Tourist Resort, Sirpur is the only notable staying option at Sirpur. The entrance to the resort is somewhat obscure. We reached here in dead of night and were not able to find the resort easily. The entrance gate was huge and was closed. It took us a lot of effort to get inside the resort. However, the resort is huge with lots of rooms. Rooms are big and spacious. Toilets and neat and clean. Air conditioned rooms are also available. There is a huge restaurant and the food served here is good. There is a room permanently reserved for His Highness Dalai Lama.

Beautiful place. Big rooms. Good food. Clean & clear. Staffs are Co operative. Toilet with buthtub. Powder room also there. Garden is full of flower. So many varities of butterfly. Different kind of birds are there for bird lover. Historical place many Temple are there around. Mahanadi is very near from this place. Calm & quite place to enjoy weekend. Also if someone is interested in history lots for them also.

Worst resort just like lodge. No TV dustbin in room. Old property with damaged amenities. Lack of lighting.

1) The only Chattisgarh Tourism hotel in the town 2) Caught in time warp, the hotel is not able to keep itself updated as the time passed. 3) This place is in serious & immediate need for a renovation. Pros: 1) Located approx 500 m from the main road, it's a quiet & serene place. 2) Huge open space at disposal, rooms are also large in size. 3) Humble and co-operative staff, always ready to offer the best possible solutions 4) Modest kitchen and restaurant offers delicious food. Cons: 1) Every inch of the resort cries for renovation. More than 75% of the rooms are closed and not offered to anyone as they are not in a liveable condition. 2) Sign of seepage everywhere, cracks on the walls, broken tiles amd windows....list is long. The electrical gadgets inside the room, the furniture, the plumbing everything belongs to a bygone era. Verdict - Being the only decent hotel in the region, you really don't have much choice while in Sirpur. Although there was news that few private hotels were coming up in the viscinity.

Located some 500 meters off the Sirpur road, this is a serene hotel stay with all the required facilities being offered at extremely reasonable rates. The cooking is fabulous with Mr Daulat as the cook at the helm. Nice large rooms with 230-250 sqft space excluding bathroom and wardrobe area. Room has AC and TVs.
