This is the best place I can walk around in Ayodhya. This is the residence of Sita Ji, where Sita lived after marriage. It is located 1.3 kilometers from the railway station, Located 300 meters from Hanumangarhi temple. Here, Sita lived with Shri Ram after marriage. There is even a small temple around this temple where you should walk.

‌Kanak Bhawan, ( literally kanak means gold) is the biggest, the most attractive, religious and architecturally built temple, dedicated to Lord Rama and Sita, in the pilgrim Holy city of Ayodhya, in Uttar Pradesh, India. This beautiful temple's history, dates back to treta yug, when it was gifted by Ram's stepmother Kaikeyi, to him and his concert Sita as a Marriage gift. With the passage of time, it fell to ruin and was reconstructed and renovated many times. This particular Temple, Golden in colour, looks the most beautiful when the rays of the rising sun as well as that of the setting sun fall on the building. It looks fabulous.

A temple where you can find solace and peace of mind. Architecturally well built, as name goes, in golden colour. The darbar is very beautiful. Photographers would like this place from their perspective as well.

Dasarath Mahal which was used to introduce Lord Rama and Sita couple to mass public during Tretha yugh. Very nice to watch Harati especially in the evening times. 30 min required to have peaceful darshan. Pedha will be offered as Bhog to Lord Ram here. At the temple premises, one can find sweet stalls. Here monkeys are to take care of belongings. Many meditation rooms are near to garbhalayam. It's nice to meditate here but the donations part will disturb the mind.

This place is also know as House of gold. The temple is situated in the centre of Ayodhya and is visited by a number of travellers. Kanak Bhavan is devoted to Lord Ram and his wife Sita.It is believed that Rani Kaikey built this bhavan for Sita and it has been subsequently restored time and again by various kings. One of the main attractions of this temple is the musicians who perform in the white and black tiled courtyard. It is believed that the temple was constructed in 1891 by Rani Krishnabhanu Kunwari of Orccha.

The ‘Kanak Bhawan’ is the biggest, religiously one of the most important and architecturally an aesthetically built temple dedicated to Lord Ram and his divine consort Sita. It is located in the pilgrim holy town of Ayodhya in the state of Uttar Pradesh of India. This shrine is a marvelous sample of temple architecture and design, and is the most beautiful and attractive structure in Ayodhya. Its magnificence and charm is not only restricted to its external façade, but the deities installed in the sanctum are so beautiful and captivating to behold that one is left dumbfounded and spell-bound once one sees them.
