Stayed for a music festival. But only stayed long enough to house our bags. Room reeked of cigarette smoke and we had to leave the windows open to breathe. Bed was gross. Several rooms of festival attendees checked out in the night due to bugs and general lack of cleanliness. Ended up at a different hotel for a fraction of the price which was shocking. They shouldn’t be charging hundreds for a weekend if that’s the state of the rooms.

As soon as you walk in, you can smell cigarette smoke. Walking up the steps and through the hallway, you could still smell the cigarette smoke mixed with curry. That was all you could smell the entire time. The bed sheets and 1 of the pillow cases were dirty. It was definitely not worth the price we paid for our room. It was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in.

The room was disgusting. The smell when I walked in was like a cross between stale cigarette smoke and cheap cologne. The frame of the picture hanging above the bed was covered in chunky dust, as well as all the baseboards on the walls. The skirt on the bed looked like chunks of boogers had been wiped on it from a previous guest. I should have asked for another room but I was so tired and didn't want the bother. Looking forward to the continental breakfast in the morning, got very disappointed. Toast and cereal was all that was there, and apple or orange juice. The coffee was empty, and a rather rude young woman who seemed to work there announced that if I wanted coffee I would have to have them make more. It was obvious they didn't want to make it, so I didn't bother. I booked through Priceline. $111 for a nasty room. Tonight I am in a Motel 6 (in Miamisberg) and it's only $76. Do yourself a favor, go to Motel 6 instead. I'm confidant it will be 100% better than Super 8. I will be returning to Newark/Heath tomorrow and getting another room, but it will not be at Super 8.

Friendly and clean. The lobby and entrance has a sort of smell but the room was clean. They offer smoking and non-smoking rooms. Rooms have been renovated and the bed was very comfortable. They do not ask for a card on file. We got a single bed and it was $169.88 after taxes for 2 nights ($75$ + $9.94). They do not offer a weekly rate but the price is fair.

Stayed here for location and price. Rooms were clean. Hotel is non-smoking but lingering smells linger.

I stayed here for 4 nights for a music festival. It’s cheap and only a 15 min drive to legend valley but there is a reason why it’s so cheap. Even for the price it was, not worth it. If you can afford better, go somewhere else. If you’re a solo female like I was, GO SOMEWHERES ELSE. This place is sketchy. First off, BOTH my chain lock and the door lock was broken. Peep hole stuffed with paper. I had to go to Walmart and by a door jam just to feel safe. Which I’m glad I did because housekeeping doesn’t even attempt to knock or announce themselves before walking in. I heard the jingle of my door handle attempting to be opened every single morning rather than a knock!! If you do stay here, bring your own blankets and towels! Both had stains on them and duvet covers had cigarette holes all over them. The carpet is so dirty, your socks will look like you walked outside barefoot. Had trouble getting into my room every single night and had to go to the front desk. The lady was very sweet every time I’ll say! She was the only thing pleasant about this stay. I will never be returning. Take my advice, spend the extra money for a good, clean hotel where you’ll actually feel secure and safe.

The building is old and is need of upgrades. I was clean. "Breakfast" is more like a snack!! Tiny muffins, coffee, cereal, milk is not what i would call a breakfast!! Location is great, Close to restaurants, shopping and The Backwoods Festival, which is why we were there.

Rather expensive. They charge 25 per night for a dog now. Plus, got dinged 15.99 for reservation fee. What the heck? Don't forget the 100 deposit. I had better see that back, and no refunds. And, don't waste your money on the laundry! 2 cycles on the dryer and they were still very wet.

Would not recommend. For being part of a well known chain of hotels, this place was a real disappointment. The room was decently clean, but nothing fantastic. The man who did our check-in was less than enthusiastic. He appeared to be the owner. We were not told where we could get ice or coffee, no information about the hours / location of the Continental breakfast. We wandered the hotel for 10-15 minutes before we found the ice machine - no one was at the desk when we went to ask. Will not return, do not recommend!

This place was horrible. Dirty, stinky like weed, & very rude workers. Only one person there was nice to us, Mrs Shirley. Blood splattered on the walls in our room. Nothing for diabetics in breakfast. Tried to charge for me service dog. And they double charged my account without my permission! I will never recommend this place or go again! I will gladly sleep in my truck instead of staying here! A horrible experience all together

Bugs in room, 9 roaches seen over two days. Previous guest pubic hairs in tub. Check in guy didn't know how to check us in.. smoking room was nice to have and not be forced to go outside. Window didn't have a screen until I took one from a first floor vacant room..
