First time here and we really enjoyed our visit. The ambience it's self is so cozy and elegant. The bartender was very knowledgeable and the drinks were superb. The selected tapas were just enough to coat you tummy while consuming various creative cocktails. There was nice subtle jazz music playing that wasn't too loud and enough to enjoy conversations. Definitely a new go to spot.

My first Absinthe experience was decent. The server of our Absinthe was very pleasant and think she did well. The young man who initially greeted us and brought our water to us, was very pleasant, but I really wish he hadn't fully palmed the rims off or glasses while bringing them to us. It's very off-putting for me to watch someone performing other tasks and then wrap the unwashed palms of their hands around the glasses from which we're about to drink. I offer this as criticism which I hope will be constructive. These kinds of careless things that people don't think enough about, can get people sick-especially in a restaurant setting. I went to get napkins to wipe the well. I'll start carrying a little alcohol wipe with me, for these situations, in the future. It's definitely refreshing to have a burger actually arrive the way it's ordered. Bravo πŸ‘Œ Anyway, I'll definitely be back. I love the porch and swings.

Bluebird is the best cocktail bar I've been to in Baltimore. πŸ‘ From their house-carved ice and thoughtful menu to their charmingly endearing staff and fantastic ambiance, you would be remiss not to visit. I could go into detail about the drinks I've had here, but that would get very lengthy. Whether you go for the strong classics or prefer to taste zero hint of liquor, you'll be able to find multiple options that will suit your palate. If you're not sure what to get, just talk to the staff! They will guide you. πŸ’β€β™€οΈπŸΈ ☝️ One thing to point out is that for how much effort they put into their ever-evolving recipes, the cocktails are more reasonably priced in comparison to other well-known establishments in the city. I honestly πŸ’• love πŸ’• this bar and really hope everyone who drinks alcohol takes time to visit at least once, though I am 100% sure they would happily accommodate someone who doesn't.

Get there early on a weekend! If you don’t you can just hang on the lanai on swingπŸ˜€. Up the stairs you go around a tight corner and a dark blue hallway, opening up into a great open space, long bar, nice couch seating along the edges, a fire place on the back wall, big long communal tables down the middle, and of course the bar. With a seasonal menu based off a book of poems, the drinks range from sweet and bubbly to strong and dark to creamy and fruity, really you can’t go wrong. Food menu sparse but not lacking as everything I have had has been spot on, from the hummus to the mozz to the beet salad all quite nice. A little on the pricey side, but I have been saving up for a couple yearsπŸ˜‰

Absolutely smooth and gorgeous drinks. For a change, the cocktail den was not some dingy hole in the wall but an open, airy classic old architecture with hints of prohibition vibes. All drinks were very well made. Loved it

An enjoyable evening with friends can be easily had at Bluebird Cocktail Room. A dim and intimate space that is at times too loud. The drinks menu is curated and offers something for everyone, tho some of the ingredients listed were a mystery. When we arrived, we were seated by the staff, tho later it was "seat yourself". There was no table service, you must stand in line to order drinks (and food) that they deliver to you when ready.

This place is a hidden gym. We went for cocktails. The place is dark and gives a bar/speak-easy vibe. The service was great. The drink menu was eclectic, and each drink had a story. It is up 2 flights of steps, and it is in a residential neighborhood, so parking is tricky. They have a light bar menu that we will try next time. Great place to unwind after work.

Swanky, moody, Gothic; this place is cool! It's literature and botanic inspired and the whole place is lit with candles. The drinks are an adventure, and the fries are amazing, gluten free and vegan food options!

Hidden Gem Very lovely ambiance. Amazing cocktails. Friendly staff. It's dimly lit at night (on purpose), so some people might find flash photography annoying.

Such a fun place to get a couple of delicious cocktails in a cute speakeasy. They got cocktails with interesting ingredients and even seasonal ones as well. Stop by and grab a cocktail and a bite.

I can’t say enough good things about this literary cocktail bar. The ambiance is cozy and I love the literary theme with each cocktail having a story to it. The cocktails itself are creative and refreshing and are far from your run of the mill cocktail. The absinthe drip is also really cool and the bartenders are very knowledgeable about their drinks and the spirits they use. Also their food game has stepped up in the last year with the mushroom toast and roasted shishito peppers being my favorite

Had an Amazing experience at bluebird! Cocktails were some of the very best I’ve ever had. Very unique and high quality ingredients. The burger I had was outstanding too and I believe they use beef from a local farm. Service was exceptional too and my waiter helped me decide which cocktails would suit my taste preferences. My only complaint would be the lighting as it’s only candle lit with only natural lighting. But it goes with the vibe as an old reading room. Wish I lived closer as this would surely be one of my haunts.

Very cool artificial bar. There are porch swings in the entrance area below the bar. The bartenders know a lot about very tasty. Creative and unusual drinks. The menu is beautiful and incredibly well written. Would definitely go again.

Super cute cocktail bar. We really liked the drinks and the atmosphere. It is on the small side and up a few flights of stairs so keep that in mind. Service was quick. We enjoyed the fries and burger. The names of the drinks are great and make for some laughs.

A cool experience, beautiful bar, nice views of the City at night, a complicated and fascinating cocktail selection, all just dripping in atmosphere. It could easily be seen as fussy and taking itself too seriously, and you wouldn’t be wrong. The limited food selection is decent. One nice aspect is that they limit the crowd and that helps. We were out day-drinking on a Saturday and Bluebird killed that vibe but it is a kind of perfect place for an evening experience for light food and a few interesting g cocktails and amazing ice. They make all their ice and it’s cool.

Vibe/ambiance is sophisticated, calm and welcoming . Drinks were great and reasonably priced. Not a huge menu but drinks are their focus, my medium-well burger was still really good. Chocolate cake was a little disappointing (in price, size and taste), but that's not what I went there for, so not knocking off for that. Server Bob was really attentive and nice. Great place for a drink with friends, date, solo drink. I really liked this spot.

Came for the weekly Monday Jazz Jam and left with a happy belly and soul. The group playing was amazing. Will be returning for them BUTT I ate a grilled cheese with fries (over the side salad option) and there weren’t any regrets. For $2 Extra the played is full of beautifully cut fries with some cheese shaving, I’m guessing. The grilled cheese was eclectic with the ingredients, but still very solid and simple. Grand experience

If you are looking for an amazing wedding venue in Baltimore look no further than The Green Room. My partner and I got married there last September and from start to finish Ali and Chef Brian were out of this world to work with. My partner and his family are from Pittsburgh so we wanted to incorporate that into our wedding somehow. When we went for our tasting Chef Brian had made pierogies (something western PA is known for) for us to try to see if we wanted to serve them at our wedding. When I tell you I still salivate over just thinking about them it is not an exaggeration. SO FREAKING GOOD! On our actual wedding day Ali and her whole staff did an amazing job! Ali made sure that my husband and I had a plate of food set aside for us so we wouldn't miss out on the food since we were being pulled in every direction. It is that attention to detail that is so amazing. They know what you want even before you know you want it. Your wedding will live up to expectations if you have it at The Green Room at Blue bird.

Overall the speakeasy vibes were present, dark mysterious, and intimate feeling. There are more personal tables for reservations while bigger communal tables in the middle are first come first serve. Upstairs possess a delightful array of cocktails and a full food menu. Spirits are limited when it comes to whiskey but there is an interesting absinthe drip available for purchase. For the whiskey people there is another speakeasy located downstairs in the basement. The variety of rare whiskeys is amazing and the prices are just perfection. From Pappy, to EHT barrel proof, to rare Japanese whiskeys, they probably have it and a full bottle back to spare. Such a rare find. The three-cheese board was very filling for 4 people to share.

If you’re there when Armando is working, consider yourself so lucky!! He was absolutely phenomenal and made our night so much fun. On top of his electric personality, the food was incredible (the mushroom toast was life changing), and the whole aesthetic of The Bluebird is so wonderful that I cannot recommend it enough!! Definitely get the Zatoichi cocktail.
