Best pasta this side of the world. Loved the warm homey feel of the interior. Close to family owned because the staff are almost like family. The camaraderie between them, the jokes, the banter, the engagement with customers was warm and friendly. Had the Lobster Stuffed with Crab with Pasta in a Vodka Cream Sauce. There’s also the pasta named after Samantha the Baltimore food blogger. Paired with the perfect wines, you’ll love this place. Try it

We’ve had this baby on our list for some time now and I am disappointed it took us this long to finally dine in. The food is listed in order from the best to the best LOL everything was soooo good!! The lobster Regina is a fan favorite and it definitely lives up to reputation! Great service as well. Definitely recommend!

First off the food was very good and each staff member that we dealt with was very friendly. But the wait was ridiculously long, over an hour to get our food. Even to take our order took forever. Water was dripping onto our table from the ceiling. So we moved to the next table over and the staff didn't even notice. The last straw was both tables we sat at had huge chunks of wood missing..had there been a tablecloth I would have never noticed.

My wife and I go here for date night anytime we can find a babysitter for the kids. We love the atmosphere, the ambiance, and most of all the food. La Scala is our go-to anytime we’re in the mood for Italian because no place else matches the menu. We always order the grilled Caesar salad to start off and the lobster special never disappoints. The sauce is so creamy and delicious we continue to eat far after we’re full just because the taste is out of this world. We’re moving to Florida soon and will miss this place for sure, but we’ll come back here anytime we come back to visit! 5 out of 5 stars

First time visit. I must say it was a great experience. I felt like family. The service was top notch and don't get me started on how good the food was. Had Calamari, Shrimp Toast, and the Veal Saltimbocca. I not only met the owner, but his Mother as well. How great was that. This place was recommended to me and now I recommended it to you. Great people, Great location.

I celebrated my birthday at La Scala Ristorante in Baltimore’s Little Italy, and it was my first visit. To start, we had a warm grilled Caesar salad as an appetizer. Then, I savored the Samantha fettuccine, made in-house, with jumbo lump crab, fresh spinach, and a delightful vodka sauce. Meanwhile, my boyfriend indulged in a whole fresh branzino, not filleted, and a side of penne pasta. The staff, including our waiter, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the evening, which added to our enjoyment. To top off the meal, I enjoyed an espresso martini that was truly out of this world. And for dessert, we shared a delicious tiramisu cake. The entire dining experience, complemented by the warm and welcoming staff, was a fantastic way to celebrate my birthday at La Scala Ristorante in Little Italy.

I had an absolutely splendid experience. Angelina was amazing and had wonderful recommendations for us. The ambiance is perfect and the food was incredible. My appetizer was the mozzarella, pancetta and shrimp bread. My entree was the lobster Regina and my dessert was the lemon sorbet. I’m excited to come visit again and try everything else they have to offer. Don’t let yourself miss out on this amazing place!

Love! Love! Love! Food is fantastic. The portion sizes are large. Flavors are on point. Price is to be expected but honestly for what you get it isn't bad at all. The family who owns the place are super friendly. I felt so welcome from the time we walked in the door and to the time we left. It is a must visit. I'll be back for sure! Pictures: Bday Tiramisu Lobster Regina- lobster and jumbo crab in a red pepper cream sauce Side of penna marinara (comes with Veal Baltimore) Side of fettuccine Alfredo (ordered because I'm not a fan of marinara) Veal Baltimore- Veal scallopini with crab, shrimp in a wine sauce!!!

It’s really pretty in the inside, felt like I was in Italy! However, I was not impressed! My fettuccine Samantha was flavorless, outside of the heavy spinach taste. I saw this meal on tik tok & was overly excited for it which may have added to my disappointment. The drinks were awesome, especially the expresso martini! The waiters were professional and nice, because of the staff I increased my score from two stars to three stars. As the only black people in the restaurant, we received alot of awkward stares. Felt very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t go back

I absolutely loved this restaurant! They treated me so well. Michael my server was a true gem - so professional and friendly. I felt taken care of and catered to. I had their moscato- 👌 I also tried their Grilled Caesar salad - 😋 Finally my entree, Mahi-mahi done beautifully it came with penne done to your taste. I kept it simple; garlic dressed. The meal was so satisfying. I couldn't eat another bite! Next time I'm in Baltimore ill definitely be back.

Who says Baltimore can’t do good Italian!? Whoever it is hasn’t been to La Scala. 🤌 La Scala is great Italian spot in Little Italy next to Harbor East in Baltimore. The Chicken Parm and pasta were great and they were very accommodating to our two kids. Thank you! The atmosphere was decorated with Christmas and was very festive. Can’t wait to go back when the weather is nice. A must try for all Italian food lovers!

Fantastic restaurant in little Italy that we will definitely be returning to. La Scala combines a hardworking baltimore attitude with an old school Italian environment. This combination is pulled off very well by way of a diligent staff led by a beloved Italian Chef. The restaurant is a combination of a row homes and although it may seem busy the staff makes you feel right at home allowing you to fully enjoy the experience. Don’t be afraid to try a more creative option as you’ll be well rewarded with a delicious meal.

This was our first visit to this beautiful hidden Baltimore gem. The restaurant crossed our path through the recommendation of friends. We will definitely be back. Quaint Atmosphere, Great Service and Friendly Staff.... Most importantly, our food was beautifully plated and was simply delicious and served promptly from the kitchen. Per the menu, dishes are cooked to order! Yummy...Soooo good!! I was in heaven. This was definitely the perfect spot to celebrate our beautiful mom on mother's day! Looking forward to the next visit!!

Crowded place, gotta have reservations. Saturday night dinner with nine people. Sat us on time and our waiter was excellent at explaining everything. Grilled Caesar has changed over the years and is not what I remembered, still great but less charred. Everything else was also delicious. Ample serving sizes and prompt service. A completely different bottled water, making this place unique.

Came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The food was AMAZING! I had the fettuccine bolognese and when they say they have the best espresso martinis in town … THEY MEAN IT! Our server Peggy was awesome and very patient! I ended up coming back three days later because I enjoyed my time!

Food tastes from the fast food chain. Mussels not fresh and overcooked. All dishes come with zero presentation.

We were blown away by our wonderful experience at La Scala last night! Our server was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu and specials, and we ordered the burrata special because she made it sound so delicious (spoiler alert: it was incredible). The atmosphere was warm and romantic and the restaurant had that classic Italian vibe that is lost on so many newer establishments. The food was incredible—the mussels with white sauce was the star of the show, but we loved our veal parm and lobster fra diavolo as well (and a very reasonable price point for 2 tails, I might add). Overall, a wonderfully charming experience. Will be taking my Sicilian parents here if they ever make it out to Baltimore.

Had an amazing time here...a great place to celebrate special moments. Beautiful restaurant....lovely ambiance, nice service and the food was all incredible. Best pasta ever, probably better than i had in Italy lol. Can't wait to come back again 🥳

Went here to celebrate my sisters graduation and the service was phenomenal always on top of water refills and extra bread. The olive oil was delicious. The sea bass was so flavorful. The fettuccine bolognese was delicious and made awesome leftovers.
