Best selection of bourbon I have seen, by far. And better yet, priced very fairly (not marked up like some of the rare bourbons you might find elsewhere). Mike, the owner, is very knowledgeable on each bottle and took the time to explain the history and differences of each one we were interested in. We also grabbed a pizza to go and really enjoyed it. If I could only go to one place in Baltimore, Barfly's is it.

Dropped in to watch one of the ncaa tournament games, easily got a table. The sandwiches were fantastic — the chicken Parmesan was so tasty and Italian hot cut was good too.

This is the best bar in Baltimore. Have I been to every bar in Baltimore? No. But that doesn't matter, since this is the best bar in Baltimore. Mike is friendly and very knowledgeable about his selection of whiskeys. You can try some stuff here that the majority of places don't have (e.g. Sazerac 18 yr) as well as the standard fare of whiskey. Also, the pizza is amazing and the folks you meet while sitting at the bar are friendly and love their whiskey! Whenever I'm back in Baltimore, this will be one of my first stops!

Fantastic service. Great selection of whisky obviously. Best hot Italian Cold Cut around. Bartender gave us a side of house dressing for our pizza crust. Great over all experience.

I came here with my family and it did not disappoint! We had 3 different pizzas and they were all so delicious! They have a huge scotch/bourbon selection but I picked out a good sour that was perfect. I also love that they make their own ranch and bleu cheese but that it was also some of the best I’ve had! Well done! Can’t wait to go back next time I visit my brother!

This is my favorite bar in Baltimore, for so many reasons. The staff is so friendly and genuine, plus knowledgeable. The pizza, if you like thicker crust pizza, is some of the best you will ever try. The beers on tap are varied and constantly rotating. And if you like whiskey, this is the best bar in Maryland for it. A massive selection, at better prices!

If you like whiskey, then there is no better place, and the pizza just might be the best in Baltimore! The staff is friendly and efficient.. packed on a Friday night but still got drinks in under 5 min at a table.

Love this bar. The pizza is exceptional and they have a huge selection of whiskey. They make one of the best cocktails I've ever had - the Bacon Old Fashioned. They never have it available, so good luck trying it, but it's incredible.

Fan-tabulos pizza. Probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The dough and crust are great. Couple slices and pretty soon, I wanted to eat the crust first.

A must do when in Baltimore. Forget the tourist traps, this is the real deal for Whiskey and Pizza. The sandwiches are amazing too! Ate there twice in one day! Friendly hometown staff make you feel warm and welcome. Awesome place.

Barfly's has of the best whiskey selections I've seen, along with some of the best pizza in Baltimore. Thankfully for me it's in walking distance, but definitely worth the stop if you are just passing through!

We've done take out from Barfly's numerous times and their pizza is definitely 4 stars. Last week, for the first time, we went in for dinner and drinks with some friends. The bar is cozy, has a lively mood, and is a little more catered to the sports scene. The service was a little lacklustre, we waited around for a while for someone to ask for refills and to get our check (in the end went up to the bar). The pizza, as usual, was fantastic, but I had to drop a star for presentation. Everything (drinks, starters, and pizza) comes out in single use plastics/paper plates. Maybe I could have let the drinks and starters go, but when the pizza was brought out in paper plates, I was really disappointed. I would appreciate a little more thought and care into this aspect of their service, from both a presentation and waste perspective.

Pizza was tasty and spicy! I liked the crust and the toppings were done well. But they ran out of pizza when we tried to order one to go. Ordered a whisky and a beer based on bartender recs, and they were solid. Nice service. Great crowd. Great neighborhood place!

Had a great whiskey selection. The beer selection was also good. Everyone talked about the pizza here, however, I was not expecting more of a deep dish style. I would honestly put this a level above frozen, pizza to be honest. Everyone raves about the pizza so I will probably go back and give it another try. Hopefully I’m wrong.

SOOO much bourbon. Barfly's is a cool little spot with super friendly service. We stopped in here late Thursday afternoon and had a few drinks, pours of whiskey, and bites. The pizza was a great surprise. We usually like crispy thin crust pizza which is the opposite of Barfly's pizzas. We tried the buffalo chicken which was more than enough for 2 people to split. Although it is a thicker crust pizza we still thought it was fluffy & light with very little flop (we did ask for it to be well done). The toppings on the pizza itself were also generous and tasty. We tried the pretzel bites with their homemade honey mustard which were good to munch on between drinks. Definitely recommend this place for an afternoon snack & drink.

The pizza is delicious and certainly unique to other places. They have a delicious house sauce that you will want to take home with you, so ask for a few extras when you're there. If you're out for a night, the selection of drinks and whiskey are top teir, too.

Awesome place to hang out and honestly one of the best selections of whiskey I’ve ever seen… To top it off their pizza is a 9/10 (Can’t give it a 10 because… well you know the rules) can’t wait to go back

Tons of options here! The people were nice and gave solid recommendations. They have a cool line of the Florida seltzers, which I was a fan of. We came in a big party and there was space for us at a large table. The pizza that other people got looked good, but there wasn’t much for this gluten free girlie.

The bartenders are ALWAYS nice and welcoming. The pizza - the pizza - the pizza, the best... I can't say in the world, but it's pretty close to perfect.

I was at Barfly's last weekend. It's a really nice place. The crow seemed more mature, which is my preference these days. The selection of whiskey is amazing. Doug helped me choose a couple to try. I also had pizza. It was delicious. If you like a thicker crust, Barfly's is perfect. I tried the spicy and everything pizzas, both were delicious. Everyone was attentive, great service. This was my first visit and I'll be going back. Give it a try. Go! Enjoy!!!
