Went here once thus far, but shall return for a second visit again soon! Although I did expect it to be a great show from reading previous reviews, I must say, the fantastic reviews do not do the venue justice. The ambiance, performance, interaction, and drinks are all superb and I can see why people go back several times. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to increase the positivity in their life, for laughter IS the best medicine 🤩

Grew up in Baltimore and had never been to Illusions before. Surprised my boyfriend to a show for his birthday last night, and it was amazing. We didn’t know what to expect! Spencer the Magician was so entertaining and funny, and engaged each and every person in the audience in his show. Nicole ran the bar serving the best cocktails; even she had a part in the act. Tickets include two drinks and they even gifted each guest with a goodie bag on our way out. They welcomed guests to hang around afterwards and just made us all feel like part of the family. We can’t wait to come back and bring the rest of the family. Thank you Spencer and Nicole for an awesome night! Illusions is a hidden gem in the heart of Federal Hill. Grab dinner at one of the local spots and head to a show. Be sure to book tickets in advance because every show is always sold out!

Awesome show and a great start to a night out! Spencer is an amazing magician and outstanding performer. The venue is intimate, so you get the feeling of being a part of the act vs. just watching someone on stage performing. Admission comes with two drinks (great bartender too!), so excellent value as well! Definitely a hidden gem of Baltimore and will certainly be going back with friends!

We bought tickets a month ago. It just so happened that our critically ill daughter needed a short trip to the picu. Since she was stable, we decided we would still go to this show as it was only 9 minutes away from UMMC. Her grandparents came to sit with her so we could go. I am so happy we chose to still go! Spencer lightened our moods, made us smile, and had my husband laughing out loud with his antics. I don’t drink so I had a Shirley temple, but my husband said the drinks he had were on point. 10/10. I definitely recommend going .

An excellent jaw-dropping, head-scratching, laugh-out-loud entertainment experience! Spencer is quick with his humor, his wits and his hands, and includes every audience member in the fun and magic! The cocktails included with tickets are delicious concoctions, along with the usual wines, beers, and non-alcoholic selections. All of this happens in an elegant and uniquely decorated venue--a tribute to historical magic, with its mystery and paraphernalia! This is a must-see, sophisticated but fun show, with a dynamite performer--and you don't have to go to Vegas! See the show, or book him for a private gig--but just see him!

If you are looking for a great entertainment experience, this is the place to be. Let's start with Spencer. Great magician! But he is also funny, witty, engaging, and an overall fantastic performer. Need more?, Let's talk about the place. Beautiful bar with a speakeasy feel and magical things throughout to interest and delight. They even showed Chaplin movies as we were waiting for show to begin. We were a little concerned about the location in Baltimore but it is in revitalized Federal Hill area that has nice restaurants and shops around. Need more? Let's talk about the drinks. Nicole is a master bartender. One of the best Manhahattans I have ever had (and I have had many). Then tried the Sazerac, which was phenomenal. The Bar experience matched the quality of the show experience. Need more? Let's talk about this team. Spencer and Nicole. It was amazing just watching how hard they work and how well they work together. It is obvious they love this place and are busting their tails to make it work. So go see this show! Don't hesitate for a second. You won't be disappointed. We will be back and will be bringing our friends.

Went here for my birthday on a whim and I’m SO glad we did. The show was absolutely amazing. Spencer and Nicole did a wonderful job with entertaining all of us. The magic tricks, Spencer’s jokes and his energy, the two free drinks (Nicole is a skilled and attentive bartender) with your purchase of ticket… I would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out. It would also be a fun experience for an event or girls trip, joint bachelor and bachelorette party etc. We will definitely be back! 🫶🏼✨

Absolutely fantastic. Spencer's performance was outstanding and his bar is themed perfectly. I have to be honest and say I walked in the door without the highest expectations since I am personally not highly interested in magic shows. I left the show with a completely different perspective, and I will be coming back for another show and maybe even at one of Spencer's other locations. When you walk into the venue, the impressive bar area is what immediately caught my eye. The woodwork is amazing. The drinks they make are awesome and sometimes included with the show. Spencer's performance is hilarious, and he really gets the audience involved and you can tell he truly enjoys and cares about what he does and wants everyone to have a good time. Authentic, hilarious, jaw dropping magic tricks, all around was such a great time.

My family surprised me with my 30th birthday party at Illusions and it was awesome! The experience was fantastic and the performance was amazing. I highly recommend and thank you for a great day!

I cannot stress enough how fun of an experience this was! My friend wanted to go here for a while (we have walked by it pretty often) and we've heehawed around but avoided going because we weren't so sure about going to a magic show. Well, his birthday came around and that's what he wanted to do, so we agreed, and man do I wish we came earlier! This was a blast! Spencer (the performer and one of the bartenders) was absolutely hilarious and an amazing magician! Nicole was an absolutely wonderful bartender! The show was a really great experience, Spencer really got the whole audience involved and put on an amazing show! There was also a really great selection of drinks. Do make sure you book a show in advance! It's always packed when you walk by and they have a show running!

A group of ten of us went on a Saturday afternoon to a sold out show. We were welcomed by Spencer and brought into this beautiful old venue. Nicole mixed up some wickedly good drinks and two drinks are included in the ticket price. Spencer is a showman and so genuine. He is a Charm City gem. We are lucky to have him here. We can't wait to go again!

Had such an awesome time!!! It was definitely and fun experience and very unique 😊 it's around lots of bars and places and i saw one couple bring in some pizza to eat before the show started. The drinks were also delicious! And there were so many options. Nicole qas the bartender and she was great. Spencer is funny, talented and such an entertainer. Very very worth it to give it a try 😊

I had the best time. This is far from what I thought that it would be. Spencer did a FANTASTIC job, and his fiance was a hell of a bartender and helper. The way he incorporated us into his shows was great. I have nothing bad to say about the show. I'm giving him many kudos for what he does as a profession. I would come again and again. Spencer is amazing and fun. The price is fair and the drinks are amazing too! Parking is tricky in fed hill so Uber/Lyft is best. He will include the audience but respectfully. Overall great show that changes so definitely visit if in Baltimore!

Spencer puts on a splendid show! From the moment we entered the venue, we were treated exceptionally! The venue has a very intimate setup, with limited seating, which we loved! Our mixologist was definitely top tier (and so were our drinks!) Two drinks are included with your admission fee and there is a wide variety of specialty drinks. Spencer is not only an illusionist, but a storyteller. We visited 9 years ago and his material was even better this time around. Do yourself a favor and book a show. You will NOT be disappointed!!

It was an amazing time! Spencer and Nicole were the most gracious hosts and the show was fun, interactive and IMPRESSIVE! I didn’t even realize that the admission included 2 drinks! What a bargain! Do yourself a favor and get to the Illusions Bar & Theater!!

We had the best time seeing Spencer Horseman last night! I am always looking for a fun experience gift for my Dad & this was perfect! So entertaining… I don’t know how he does what he does! Great entertainer. Fun & interactive. You get 2 delicious cocktails with your ticket or option to use drink tickets for merchandise. Spencer was so nice & we enjoyed meeting with him after the show.

The ambiance and decorations were awesome! Definitely recommend for date night or for entertainment and drinks with friends.

Awesome time.. Spencer is very funny, witty and personable..Intimate setting @bar & theater.. The illusions he creates are original and mind boggling how he pulls them off. Having most of the crowd involved in his magic 🎩 tricks and the 2 free drinks is classy and a nice touch. I will be returning for future shows.

Illusions was a GREAT time! I highly recommend it. Its small and intimate. The cocktails (you get 2 with entry ticket purchase) are yummy and strong. They also have virgin options. Everyone is a part of the show and Spencer puts on a great, entertaining show. He's a true professional. I would definitely go again!

Fun place. Had a really good time. Spencer was talented and entertaining, and Nicole was lovely. The drink options were fun and there was a nice mix of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. I was there tonight for a private event/birthday party and it was a really good place with fun decor and decent seating. 10/10. Would go again.

Highly recommend giving Illusions a visit. Located in the heart of Fed Hill, very easy to get there. Spencer does a great show that is geared towards adults, but is enjoyable by anyone. He kept the crowd entertained and got almost everyone at the show involved. Covid tickets were $60 each and includes 2 drinks and a show (which is a pretty solid deal). I plan to be coming back soon.

Very interactive and entertaining. Not crude or rude but it’s just enough of an adult show in my opinion. (Doesn’t pick on anyone if you have concerns like some comedy shows). Good time and good value, especially with the drinks. Fun fact, parents were in sebum and Bailey and his father was Ronald McDonald for 22 years.
