Great service. The bathroom could use a mirror. I love the graffiti in the bathroom! Food comes out of the kitchen hot and so fast I almost got whiplash. The fries are reminiscent of Thrashers. There is absolutely nothing to complain about at this establishment. Great vibe. Great music. Hands down, one of the best Taverns in Baltimore!

Really cool atmosphere! My wife and I stopped I'm for a quick lunch. Service was quick, and the staff was cool and friendly. Started with the watermelon salad with goat cheese and balsamic vinegar. Very good! Also got the primo pizza; delicious thin crust pizza! Definitely recommend

Johnny Rad's is Rad. What a spot for some vegan hush puppies and pizza. Great craft beer selection and really friendly people.

Trash manager. My husband and I came in one evening for happy hour and honestly did not feel welcome.. at the end of our evening we stepped in the back to play Skee Ball (which is highly advertised) and the manager stepped in to tell us we had to leave the area bc the space was rented privately. There was no signage, we felt very uncomfortable when told “she would let us finish our game”.. a great evening quickly turned sour when I approached the manager to ask if in the future a sign for a private party could be posted so we would not invade their space or have to be asked to leave.. instead of apologizing she decided to tell my husband and I how usually “people are cool about being asked to leave” instead of apologizing for the businesses lack of proper communication and signage. This was our first and last time at this establishment and I look forward to telling others to not patronize them as well. Besides the weird and misfortunate interaction with the unprofessional manager the food was good and the happy hour drinks were cheap!

Great place with lots of vegan options. I had the vegan stuffed pepper. Would love it if they had gluten free dough as well because my boyfriends pizza looked amazing

Agree with some reviews on how salty some options are. But it's good vegan food near Patterson Park at acceptable prices (to me). The BBQ sandwich is a go-to (sauce and pickles are excellent), and I just tried the pretzel bites with marinara and they were bomb. Crispy, a little spicy, dank af. They also have a progressive spirit which makes me feel safe there.

We had 2 pizzas - one with a red base and one with a pesto base. Both were delicious. The bases were both great. Meats and other toppings were obviously high quality and plentiful. The service was knowledgeable, courteous, and timely. We will definitely be back.

Great food! The pizza was decent, but may not travel well. Whatever you do, ALWAYS ORDER THE RISOTTO BALLS! Can't wait to eat in next time.

Menu has good variety, including vegan options. It wasn’t my favorite style of pizza. Felt like it was lacking cheese and sauce. That said, I would consider going back to try other options. Staff are pretty hands off.

This is a hidden gem by Patterson park. We sat outside and were served immediately. Fortunately they had a vegan week menu with a nice variety and the food was really well done. The portion sizes however are really small. Although we went during the happy hour time mentioned on their website we weren’t told about the specials nor was their any happy hour menu. Service was great. Strongly recommend

The best vegan-friendly pizza place in the city! The bar is really awesome & has a great assortment of mixed drinks, my favorites being their seasonal sangria & spicy margarita. Their vegan offerings are all great, but I especially love the templeton with vegan sausage & vegan cheese added- it’s got fried basil and is the perfect pizza. Their cheesesteaks are also offered with both vegan chickn and vegan steak, both are excellent.

Amazing pizzas, fries and salads. Vegan friendly menu (I'll just stick to meat options). Fun weekly specials. Not related to food but Johnny Rad's is doing public service for the safety of the block. There is constantly foot traffic - people with pizza boxes walking around - in the 3-4 neighboring blocks which makes this part of Upper Fells very safe. More efficient than having patrol cars. Thank you.

I love how many vegan options there are here! This is definitely a spot for people of all dietary requirements. The vegan pizza is some of the best in Baltimore. I think their crust is, hands down, the best vegan pizza crust in Baltimore! When you order, make sure that you order the vegan pizza/ make sure they hear what you're asking, so that they don't give you the regular version. The vegan Buffalo nuggets are amazing! I had the vegan BBQ sandwich as well. My mom and grandma love the pepperoni pizza! The decor is really cool too. Skateboard-graffiti vibes. I've eaten this food so many times, so I lean toward a 5...but the last time I was here there was a dog in the restaurant. Disgusting. Edit: I'm really happy to hear that your restaurant is following the law and making sure that everyone has access. If you're following that law, it probably means that you're paying attention to labor and food safety laws as well (well done). Dogs inside, near my food make my stomach turn, but I understand the law is the law. Is there no way to help the person inside and leave the dog outside? I really appreciate the restaurant taking the time to respond and explain the situation.

Absolutely love this place! The food is great, it’s a relaxed, fun vibe and they have skeeball! The pizza was delicious both at the restaurant and heat up the next day. If you love a good pizza, this is the place to go!

Very cool and laid back place. “Wild card” beer was a cool concept. We had the huf puppies (vegan) and a trainwreck pizza with subbed in vegan mozzarella and vegan steak. The huf puppies were flavorful and moist! Pizza crust and toppings were outstanding.

It has been considered one of the best Pizza Tavern in Baltimore. If you don't like chicken or pork pepperoni you will still be able to find veggie one as an option for your pizza. I wish they had Turkey pepperoni option as well. Owner has and interest on skateboarding. So you will find skating photos, TV shows and other visuals around the bar.

Great vegan options and a great spot. Came here because Guy Fieri stopped by on DDD, and was not disappointed.

Rads is always a grade A experience. Rich and his staff take pride in their bar and take great care of their customers. On short notice they were able accommodate a large party for me and it went flawlessly. Tony and Corn (and another chick whose name I didn’t get!) made sure we were well taken care of and were attentive to everyone in our party. Whenever my vegan brother comes into town we make a point to go to Rads! I feel spoiled living in the neighborhood and getting to come here whenever I want. If you’ve never been here, GO! I always recommend the risotto balls and Hosoi pie 🍕 Cheers!

If you like very salty pizza, this is your place. I don't like a ton of salt, so I really disliked this pizza (which I like pretty much all pizza). It looked great, and tasted terrible to me. But to each his/her own so you be the judge. In the words of Randy Jackson, "It's a no for me dawg."

I am not a vegan person and I went with a friend who is. The vegan chicken nuggets were bomb. He got mad at me when I eat 3/4ths of them. Also most pizzas can be easily change into vegan pizzas. We had a spinach pizza which is nothing like a Daya pizza. It's 20x better. I can see why they were featured on Dinners, Drive-in and Dives. Highly recommend

Pretty cool bar, with a skater theme, with lots of vegan options. I liked their beer selection. Only thing I'd say is that some of the food, though vegan, was mostly deep fried and not great. But I truly appreciate the effort to offer something vegetarians and vegans can eat.

Raddest place in Baltimore! We visit any time we are in the area which unfortunately isn't often. Please open in NJ 🙏🏻 Anyway, has a skate punk vibe and so many delicious veggie/vegan options 😍 The food that comes out of that kitchen is incredible and probably not what people expect from a place that could qualify as a dive. Love it here!!!!!!!!!

Second time visiting. Great menu. Nice draft beer list. Food specials too! The cabbage roll soup (a deconstructed stuffed cabbage or "gwumpki"), was fantastic! Staff were great. Will be back for more.

Food was great. Drove from PA just for this based on a recommendation and it did not disappoint! The Vegan options are great and taste even better 😋 will definitely return and absolutely my type of music. It was a vibe

Excellent service, great food and if you are a fan of bacon I would highly recommend the Cobb salad as I believe it contained about half a hog in terms of the bacon. Pizza was fantastic and although the draft beer selection was limited to about seven or so taps the can and bottle selection was extensive. Finally there is chalk in the bathroom if you want to write on the walls.

Great vibe inside with a pretty long bar and excellent selection of beers. The pizzas were excellent. The dough is on the thinner side with a little chew and cooked to perfection. Ingredients seem to be high quality.

Great service with friendly staff. Quick and efficient. Ordered the fries, burger and the Pepe Martinez pizza. The fries were the absolute star of this meal. Super crispy, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The burger was huge and flavorful. The pizza was ok. There wasn't too much sauce which may normal. The cheese and basil balanced it. The crust while crispy was not too flavorful making the black pepper overpower everything. Overall cute theme and fair prices, can't be beat
