Had a very unfortunate experience here a few weekends ago involving a lost or mishandled bank card. This situation was handled in the worst way possible. Nothing was done to help the issue. Girl that was with us went to close her tab and they didn’t have the card where they kept all the other customers cards and could not find it. Was told “this just happens at bars”, and “you know its free to order a new bank card”. No accountability. Acted like there is no possible chance at all that they might have misplaced this girls card or given it to another customer by mistake because they were busy. Then we walked away from the bar and continued watching the music. Went to cancel the card on the banking app and saw the card had somehow been charged $16 which wasn’t even the price of the tab. Went back to show the bar to show them something definitely was not right but was met with rudeness so we just went back to our spot and continued to watch the band. Then a Super hyper, high strung guy came from behind the bar and yelled at the young girl whose card was lost, saying he didn’t have it and making a huge scene in front of the band and other customers. Very intense and uncalled for. Guy was super off putting and treating this girl like she was some young dumb drunk girl. This was after we had already canceled the card and continued enjoying the live music to just move passed the whole situation. Not even 5 minutes later this same guy has security escort us out, as if we were the ones making a big fuss about the situation, when we had already accepted the card was gone and canceled it and were just watching the band. We had a party of 6. We were there to see the blues band that was playing because we love their music. All 6 of us were forced to leave for no reason due to this guy behind the bar, who i believe to be the actual owners son or something, from reading other reviews on here. They did not once ask for our names and numbers in the event the card was found or turned into them later. They were more worried about arguing that they didn’t have the card and that they couldn’t have possibly misplaced it. Security guard even felt bad and offered to buy us drinks next time we came around. We unfortunately will probably not be returning to this spot, which is unfortunate because this seemed like a really cool bar to see live music and hang out.

Always a great visit. When everything else in Fells has changed, Cats Eye will still be itself, pouring live blues and jazz into the streets. Great spot to chill, dance, drink.

Great spot, good local scene for live music! Drinks were good, but the tap water was not the best. Definitely coming back for the great vibes and atmosphere

In my opinion one of the greatest bars in America! High quality live music every single night of the week since the 1970s I believe … that’s gotta be a record. Everyone in this place is chilled. In my opinion a must destination for any visitor and newcomers in Baltimore !

This place is so much fun! The vibe is very warm and full of baltimore history! The bands can always get you dancing and Jenn is the best bartender around! She always greets us with a smile and a shot! Dave, Corey, Jake, Sam and Morgan are also always kind and attentive! Definitely check it out if you haven’t yet!!

Best bar I visited in Baltimore, better than the rest on the same strip. Decent Guinness (for an American standard,) friendly staff and fantastic live music.

Great place and live music. The only caveat is that the bar is shaped unfortunately for the stage placement, and the sound can be a bit weird depending on where you are standing. Staff is super nice, and the outside patio area is super convenient! 🙂

Best bar in Baltimore. If you’re looking for a traditional Baltimore bar with the best live music, this is the place. Friendly bartenders, good customers, great vibe, nice outdoor area in the back. I’ve always had a 10/10 experience when I go there.

We recently moved into the neighborhood and have been checking out the bars close by. Cats Eye Pub is our favorite! Good drinks, and live music everyday. We plan on going back tomorrow night to see our new favorite bartender Morgan.

If you are in the Fells Point area make sure you visit this pub. Great management and staff! Prices are not ridiculous and they have some of the best free entertainment in Fells Point. This was my 2nd visit and I was alone. I felt very comfortable and safe.

Went to Maryland to visit my daughter and this was one of my top three favorite new places that I found. We'll definitely go back every time I visit. The band was absolutely amazing, the owner was super friendly and nice and, even though they were packed, the service was good. I absolutely love their mascot and the historic area that they are in.

A dive bar with live music by the harbor. I loved it! A place you and a couple of your buddies can chill and have a couple of beers after work. I wouldn’t take a first date here, it’s a bit loud. But a perfect place for a third date.

I stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon around 1. They had a band playing and I was able to find a seat at the bar. There was a male bartender and a female that were friendly. My draft Coors light was horrible the bartender gave me Bud light without hesitation and explained that when they switch the beer out they don't always pump the old beer out. I will be visiting again.

Old school Baltimore bar. More for us older folks. Good live music. Been going there for decades.

During my visit on a Tuesday evening, the establishment was completely empty, although the beer selection was satisfactory and the bacon bleu cheese burger truly exceptional. Additionally, the barkeep proved to be personable and kind.

A great little bar. Live music, excellent staff. Geared towards an older crowd with some college students attending. This is a small place, with the bar set up to center the stage. I can get crowded quickly, with little room to move, so I would recommend getting to this bar early. Good atmosphere, and great bands. The staff really knows what they're doing.

Morgan was the best bartender ever! I love the vibe of the Cats Eye pub. Live music, open windows, large, open space in doors and a nice outdoor patio. Morgan attended to our bachelorette party and was Amazing! Can't wait to visit again.

Love this little bar! Great live music! Relaxing vibe, lots of different age groups. Did I say great live music?! Would have been 5 stars, but the bathrooms could definitely use some (a lot of) love.

Bartender was friendly and attentive. Music was so-so. Stayed for two pints of Heavy Seas Loose Cannon. Said no to Nati-Bo on tap.

I celebrated my Birthday at the Cats Eye Pub. The establishment was so accommodating. Morgan ( the person in charge for the evening) was amazing. The band ( Fleet Street Blues) was great. Thank you so much for making it a very special night. One of the best Birthdays ever.

This is THE most special bar in Fells Point, possibly all of Baltimore. I used to go here single and felt completely safe. The staff are like family. I met my husband here. I got married here. I have since dropped by with my kids and on occasional date nights. Nothing can ever compare to my days and nights spent at Cats Eye!

The vibe is so chill. They have live bands every night. If you wanna chill and have a drink and enjoy some live music while still being at a small location that's not overly crowded, this is the spot.

Morgan was bartending, and what an absolute *delightful* human. He really enjoys his work and has fun while doing it, which was just the perfect vibe for a rainy Sunday afternoon. Great drinks, family owned pub, and great live music always.
