my girlfriend is a big star wars fan. Normally she finds bars to be overstimulating, but she really felt at home here. We enjoyed four jell-o shots for the price of $4! What a balti-steal. We will be back - with our star wars trivia group!

Fantastic neighborhood pub where locals and out-of-towners can comingle over drinks and whatever game you're looking to watch. Doesn't matter whether you come from near or far, Mike is an outstanding barkeep who makes all feel welcome. Stay away from the touristy spots and go for local charm and authenticity!

Benders is my favorite bar in all of Baltimore. Mike definitely creates the culture there and there no better place to watch the game.

Had the chance to visit here after we closed on our house across the street. We both got to meet Mike who was incredibly welcoming and gracious. They don't have food, but you can order whatever you want to be delivered there. They have pool and anyone can play, except on league nights. Overall a terrific neighborhood place that caters to locals and everyone is welcome. Mike was great and we're excited to live across from him.

The best dive bar in town. Hands down. Just steer clear of the IPA 90 or you won't remember how much fun you had there! With two dart boards, a pile of televisions, its the local to to sports bar. Add in the pool tables with league play, and this place is a peak dive experience.

This is my favorite bar in the fells point area. Mike treats everyone like family. Darts and pool are plentiful and free. Will be back!

This place was my biggest disappointment in Baltimore. Me and three other friends pulled up around midnight last Saturday to try to play some pool and have a couple of beers - many of our friends recommended this place, that was supposed to be chill and friendly. Our stay lasted for less then 5 minutes, and the treatment we received was all but friendly. At the door the security guy hold us back for a while because apparently many people came in at once, so we would have to wait a little bit, but that’s ok. After about a minute somebody from inside came to the door saying we could come in, so the guard let us through. Once we were inside the bar (which was nothing remotely close to crowded, there were only people sitting at the bar, but everywhere else was empty) the guy behind the counter - who I believe is this Mike everyone mentions in these reviews - started yelling at the door to not let anybody else come in, that he said nobody else could come in, etc. The guy that first let us in then proceeded to kick us out immediately. We were out in the street in that state of shock like “did this really happen? Is this really the place everybody says is nice and fun?”, to then walk somewhere else. It all took less then a minute. I can’t judge how many people they consider too crowded, but I wouldn’t treat a customer I already let inside my bar like that. Perhaps they’re getting too popular and the friendliness has to go, who knows… It seemed like this would be my go to bar every weekend, but I’m absolutely not going back. If you’re reading this and considering going for the first time, it happened to me and can happen to you too. I most definitely do not recommend.

Amazing dive bar with whatever music you want, well-poured drinks, and a bartender who genuinely enjoys your company. This is the bar experience you need. Mike is an amazing dude.

“Bro, this is a dive bar.” -the owner when someone asked for a super fancy top-shelf whiskey. I love this spot. The drinks are good and the service is fantastic. If you want something more complicated than a margarita, just tell the bartender the ingredients and he may make fun of you for it, but you’re gonna love it. 😂

Fun game day spot. A variety of beers on tap, but the best part was Mike and Brandi getting to know the patrons. No food on site, but they have a menu from a local kitchen.
