So, the food was alright. Nothing really truly outstanding. However, this is easily the best dining experiences I’ve ever received in my life. Our waiter, a soon to be sommelier, was phenomenal. He suggested the perfect bottle for me and was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his craft the entire night. I would come back time and time again just for him!

Belated New Year's Eve dinner review. The NY strip, mushroom tagliatelle, and banana Panna Cotta were my favorites of the evening. Really beautiful and romantic ambiance. Was not aware the surge in price for NYE as it was not on the website.

July 2021: Fantastic dinner and a wonderful dining experience! We were here to celebrate a birthday and both our hostess and waiter took note of that. Our waiter helped us make good choices from the menu and was friendly and attentive throughout. The complimentary valet service also helped make for a perfect evening. Regarding food: the quality and freshness of ingredients, the balance of flavors, and the delicious texture of house-made pasta cannot be beat! I love the option to order half-portions from the dinner menu; it let us, a party of two, enjoy three dishes at a reasonable cost. We ordered spaghetti a la chitarra all'Amatriciana (delicious pasta with an amazing guanciale and tomato-basil sauce), squid ink spaghetti (equally delicious pasta with the light flavor from squid ink, with lots of seafood, and a welcome light kick of chili), and gnocchi with forest mushrooms (with a rich and flavorful goat cheese fonduta). There is both mastery and a touch of creativity apparent in these dishes. In the end, we could not pick a favorite. The tiramisu we enjoyed for dessert was unusually presented in a stemmed dessert glass, and ranks among some of the best tiramisus we have had in Baltimore. I have been to Cinghiale several times before the pandemic and have always enjoyed it, but things have improved even more since reopening. In short: whether looking for great food or celebrating an occasion (or both), this is a great place to dine.

Absolutely fabulous! The food is amazing, perfectly portioned. There is plenty of wine to choose for every palette. Dining at the bar was perfect and easy. The bartenders are all very attentive and quick. Highly recommend and would love to return!!!

The atmosphere in this restaurant is very nice and romantic, and everyone apart of running the foh we’re all so very nice. We had a nice warm welcome by the hostess, a nice manager who spoke with us when there were some mishaps, and a very nice waitress who luckily spoke Spanish (my partners preferred language/mother tongue). Sadly the food was very mediocre. Everything looked very good, and the presentation was nice, but there really just wasn’t much creativity or flavor. The menu descriptions all sounded very good by listing a plethora of different flavor and ingredient combinations but then when we tasted it was honestly either very average and underwhelming or just bad. Everything was in need of salt pepper and more flavor profiles. The tortellini was very hard, not al dente, but hard. The foie gras was very much unlike any foie gras I’ve had in the past, and I’m very sure the chocolate gelato in our dessert had freezer burn or was melted and then froze again. When we come to Baltimore we usually dine at orto but unfortunately they shut down so I guess we just came with high expectations. It was very relieving and nice when the staff apologized for these disappointments and tried to make up for it with a few subtractions from the check we really appreciate the care, generosity, and kindness from the whole front of the house. Thank you

First off, $71 set course is of great value! It includes pasta and a main dish, and is totally enough for 2 people with small stomach. We ordered a set with a small size pasta, adding up to only $90 for 2 people. Pasta is amazing, what can I say. Especially loved the lamb Ragu pappardelle. Lamb is so aromatic, making the dish so unique. Pasta consistency is really good. Beef short rib is also very good. I’ve had many wine braised short ribs but this one selected my favorite type of meat — LOTS of collagen stewed to extreme softness. My favorite braised short rib in town.

Our first visit and we were impressed. The server, Jake, was absolutely perfect. His knowledge of the menu and wine left us feeling very well informed, and he helped us make great choices. The Foie Gras was phenomenal. Lasagna was incredible. Steak was cooked perfectly. Short rib crazy good. Tuna tartare, pasta with parmasean sauce, risotto and the desserts were great. Chicken and fish were a bit dry but overall a fantastic evening and experience!

For some reason, it took me way too long to try out Cinghiale, but I am so happy I finally did. This restaurant absolutely blew me away, and it's safe to say it's one of the top restaurant experiences I've ever had. We're not big meat eaters, so rather than doing the tasting menu, we stuck to appetizers and pasta. The cheese plate was an amazing start to the meal. We picked two types of cheese, and it came with a big portion of both, as well as delicious crostini and strawberries. For the main course, I loved that they offer half sizes of pasta, because I was able to try two smaller bowls of two pastas that sounded good, which is way more interesting to me than one big bowl of the same thing. Every pasta we ordered was incredible. And for a reasonably priced "half size," the portions were still large enough that I had lunch the following day. It was some of the best pasta I've ever had. We also loved our drinks, from the cocktails to the 3 oz. pours of wine that, like the pasta, allow you to try different things. Our waiter was great at recommending wine to accompany the pasta. Service overall was outstanding. They were able to accommodate us earlier than our original reservation. There was a bag check, and when we were leaving, the man who seated us remembered that I had a backpack and checked that I had been able to retrieve it. I can't wait to go back, and this definitely gave me a new perspective of how wonderful a restaurant experience can be. I have been to plenty of delicious restaurants before, but this was on a different level.

Had a chance to go to a friend's birthday party there. The first time, the service was not so great it was a long wait and the server served cocktails instead of mocktail. But this time they do make up for it. The service was great, the food was on the spot, I especially love their fish entree, very delicious. The texture and flavor was amazing. The duck entree was also good, it was tender and juicy, slightly sweet for the berry sauce for me personally. I also love their tiramisu, it is very light and enjoyable. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner they did make up for the first time.

Everything was top notch! Attended a wine dinner, the food was superb, wines excellent and company great. Tony and Chef put together an excellent event. Hadn’t been here in years, what a mistake. Foreman-Wolf Group gets everything right, love all their restaurants…

Got the 3 course meal with wine pairing. Most Of it was pretty good, nothing special about the squid ink spaghetti. The short ribs was tasty, but very salty, it was difficult to finish. Love calamari though.

Very pleasant surprise. My first time here as a treat. George the General Manager was very attentive & welcoming and Olivia, our waitress also attentive and thorough. We started at the bar and then moved to our reserved table, our Aperol Spritz was refreshing. We chose to do the Prezzo Fisso Menu which included an appetizer, half portion dish, main dish and an appetizer.

Went here for our Anniversary. Had an amazing time. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. Courses were spaced out so you don't have to rush. They even have a charcuterie bar to try cheeses and meats. Cocktails were on point. I would definitely go here again.

Celebrated my birthday here, everyone was amazing. We ordered charcuterie to start, the coldcuts and cheeses are amazing. We did Prix fixe menu and wine pairings. Our bill was $400 incl tip. . big portions but by the end of the prix we were really stuffed but not that satisfied because some of the dish we had were bland,. They gave me a free drink for my bday which was so nice.

This place is an absolute gem in Baltimore! By far one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Our server, Cathia, was incredible and very attentive, along with the bussers and the hostess. Amazing food and ambiance. The wine selection is spectacular as well. You’d be crazy not to come to this restaurant. I’ll be back very soon!

I went there on my anniversary. The host was very friendly. My server was great but since I was in a restaurant business for ages, I could tell how he worked. He had lots of experiences but he was just a good server who brings and takes away dish. I have noticed quite a few times that he was distracted by other tables while we were talking to him. Possibly he forgot out dessert to put it in so he brought out two scoops instead of one scoop we ordered because we waited about 10 mins for that ice cream. The food I ordered was something about fish but it wasn't my flavor but garnishment was great. His wine recommendation was good. Do I go back or not? Probably I won't because the portion of the food wasn't enough and it's a bit expensive.

Hope was the best server and Nicole did an amazing job choosing our wine. Took us out of our comfort zone and we LOVED IT! The meal was outstanding and atmosphere was easy, warm, classic but with a touch of style. If you want a place that has been in Baltimore for many, many years and survived… because they are that good come here! They made our anniversary feel more than we could have imagined.

I was in Baltimore for a work conference, and Tellus brought us here for a business dinner. The place is nice with an upscale ambiance. If you're looking for a nice bottle of wine 🍷 this place is sure to have it. Interestingly, the restaurant's name, Cinghiale, means 'Wild boar'. Unfortunately, I didn't see any wild boar on the menu. However, the food that was on the menu was quite delicious 😋. We had somewhat of a predetermined menu, so i didn't get to try the items I really wanted to. The service was really good. There was about 50 in our dinner party, and the server team performed flawlessly.

Top notch Italian restaurant in the heart of Baltimore. My go-to when I’m in the mood for a nice night out in the city and where I take my friends. The menu is full of variety not only in pasta but plated dishes; from squid ink pasta, risotto, tagliatelle, and bolognese to duck, seared tuna, and grilled fish. All of their mains are great and the pasta is never over cooked and the flavors meld well. They now have zero-proof cocktails on their menu, which is great. It’s a nice alternative for those that don’t drink. The appetizers are a great start to the meal and we love getting the prosciutto. The tuna crude is also a light but nice dish. Each dish we have is artfully prepared and satisfying. The final end to the meal; the dessert. The tiramisu has always been a solid pick. I love the creamy but decadent flourless chocolate, personally. You can’t go wrong with the Italian classics or their twists on what you know and love. The service at Cinghiale is cordial and welcoming. They’re happy to answer any questions and make you feel like a valued customer. In my opinion, the service is the biggest part of the dining experience and I would recommend Cinghiale if you want the five-star experience in food, service, and atmosphere. Whether it’s date night, a girls night out, or a party, consider coming here.

Christmas Eve dinner was reserved long ago and glad I did because the place was packed and for good reasons: their food is absolutely wonderful, and every time I visit I always leave satisfied. So why the 2 stars? First off they had one server for a fairly large section of the restaurant - I counted at least 9 tables she served with about 30 - 36 people during the time I was there. The server didn't show up for almost 10 minutes after initial seating. Not her fault but annoying. Food was of course the best part of this place, but I was seated right by the entrance. Inside was a warm 70 or so, but outside was a refreshing 12 degrees. Even with dual doors there were, let's say well mannered but completely oblivious gentlemen, who held the doors open on both ends while many, many people came in and out of the place. As everyone knows temperature variation causes airflow (wind), and large variation causes major airflow - a blast of 12 degree wind that rushes into the restaurant every time the door was held open. The cold air rushed in so often I was shivering for half of the meal, and what's really interesting is that my piping hot squid ink spaghetti became ice cold after only 5 minutes on the table, but somewhat still edible. Not wanting to waste a nice Christmas Eve dinner I ordered a hot coffee along with dessert, both were very good. The hot coffee helped but once again it chilled to iced coffee fairly quickly. Overall I'd recommend the restaurant for its excellent food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service. I do not recommend sitting anywhere near the front door.

We had an amazing time at Cinghiale during restaurant week. It is important to note that while the restaurant has a series of fresh pastas, it is way more than pasta. Cinghiale makes you familiar with a culinary tradition that includes home-style foods in a more elevated version. The space is open and bright and the service very good. Don't forget to try the focaccia and to explore parts of the vast wine menu. I have intentionally done a lot of Italian fine dining and Cinghiale has a special place in my heart.

Great food and great service from everyone I interacted with. I had the fixed price tasting menu with wine pairing. I would absolutely go with the tasting menu again but probably would skip the wine pairings.

Must eat here! Was only able to make it for dessert and drinks but it was certainly the highlight of our trip. The service is the best in town that I experienced. Nothing goes overlooked and everything is made in house with care and love. I can't wait to return for dinner.

Outstanding. As always. Brought the team for dinner again, this time late December as our End of Year celebration. Food was excellent, service was impeccable as always. Wine quality and choice exceptional. Thank you, Tony, for greeting us and selecting those extra-special bottles! Every member of our party had a wonderful experience. Quality. Cindy and Tony have an amazing team across all their restaurants, and you can clearly feel that they truly love what they do, and they genuinely want their guests to enjoy a remarkable experience. Since my first Cinghiale visit 10 years ago its been my #1 choice when I'm in Baltimore

Stopped in for a few drinks and snack, gnocchi and arugula salad were excellent along with the service. A nice spot to sit and the bar for a nice afternoon.
