Surrealistically decorated bar with twinkly coruscating lighting dancing across the mirrored bar and tinned ceiling. Moreover, it's probably, and we've carefully researched this, the sole place in Baltimore to host Honky Tonk, Alt Country, Rockabilly and Roots Rock. The room is much longer than it looks (with a sitting room in the back), so don't be scared off by the crowds that come to see the acts. And the crowds are friendly and welcoming (as are the couple who owns the place); they're there to listen to the music and make new acquaintances. On more placid days, 1919 is just a marvelous place to sit, enjoy a drink or two and watch the madding crowds pass by on Fleet Street. Voted The Baltimore Sun's favorite dive bar, and while it's far too clean for a dive (the bathrooms are absolutely spotless), it is a joint oozing plenty of louche atmosphere.

This is one of the good old FELLS POINT bars. No grills totally laid back. Some of the best bands in town play here because the LOVE IT. saw ARTY HILL and the LONG GONE DADDYS there a month ago and they blew the roof off with some awesome honky tonk. Actually, you will never see a bad band there...there is a waiting list to play this Gem!!

1919 is a laid back old school Fells bar. The bartender Nicole is the absolute best! If you happen to be in Fells Point stop in 1919, you won't regret it. Nicole makes the best drinks ever!

Nice local dive bar, great atmosphere. Come here to see my favorite band Red Bullett. The bartenders Nicole and Jen are awesome. Was fairly busy tonight. Love that it's pet friendly too.

There was no food so I can't rate that but I did like the surrounding and the live band. I'm learning the bass guitar, so it was nice 2 watch a true pro play.

Great bar with a great atmosphere, bartenders are amazing and kind people. Hilarious Tuesday open mic every second, third, and fourth Tuesday of the month. Come out and check out some local comedy.

This is the definition of a neighborhood bar. You can call it a dive bar, and yet its clutter is sparkling and charming. It’s not tryna be dusty. It’s like an I-SPY of kitsch and my ADD could look around for hours. The music is always diversely enjoyable, meaning nobody is ever thinking “oh not THIS song.” And the staff is welcoming to the max. If you pop in here, you will truly feel part of the community, no matter what walk of life you come from.

It’s a local dive bar. Sometimes they have bands. It’s off of the main strip far enough that it’s a little gritty. But it’s consistent!
