Bar Bar and grill

👍👍 This is my go-to spot for drinks and food after work for the last couple of years! The staff are all wonderful, from the bartenders to the kitchen staff. The kitchen pumps out fantastic, fairly priced food. I highly recommend the chili verde tacos, the black bean veggie burger, and the shrimp po-boy... People often mention good, great, staff, spot, recommend, burger, wings, Great, Remington, service,

This is my go-to spot for drinks and food after work for the last couple of years! The staff are all wonderful, from the bartenders to the kitchen staff. The kitchen pumps out fantastic, fairly priced food. I highly recommend the chili verde tacos, the black bean veggie burger, and the shrimp po-boy. I've made friends with many fellow patrons from all walks of life and demographics. Don't let this place fly under the radar if you're in the Remington/Hampden area!

Love the tater tots...crispy and yummy yummy, the Asian wings great!!the staff so nice Update: April 18th, 2023. I love this place. They have excellent opening hours. Unlike its close competitors. The place is always full (but you serve you quickly). I love the wings and the Tater Tots. The prices are very reasonable. It's my favorite place for a good conversation or date. Update September 3rd. The Parmesan Winds was very very tasty. Always very good service

In NYC 1 oyster was $4 the other day- not even a fancy joint. Here it was 6 for $10. That makes these oysters about 75% less money. They were larger and presented much better. They were perfect and so were the deviled eggs. There were too many people sitting at the bar and no one outside even though it was a perfect day. I smell depression. We had 3 servers and they were all top tier

One of my new favorite local watering holes. I was a little concerned that the renovation would have gentrified the former Long John's alike much of the rest of Remington. However, it was done in a way to respect what the area was and what it is. It feels like it was there forever. Food was pretty good too. Cheesesteaks seemed to be all the rage. Can't wait to stop back in. Also I love that they have 22oz beers.

Owner Aaron (and manager Erin) are always on-site to lend a hand. Great Remington atmosphere combined with the new gentrification.Daily specials, usually with a Cajun flair, prepared by Chef Shannon. Packaged goods and takeaway available, but you should stay for rousing conversation (this week we were discussing floss, funnier than you'd think). Definite must if the in the 'hood. Try not to confuse the bartenders Mike and Zack with each other. It's easily done, but they respond to either name.

A wonderful neighborhood spot that stays open until 2am! The food was tasty and the prices are very affordable. Happy Hour is the cheapest in the City! The staff was friendly as well. You can’t lose here. Check them out!

Went for Sunday lunch. Great food, excellent service, and good vibes. Deals on wings & Boh during Ravens games. Daily special & daily soup - which both sold out while we were there, so they must be good. We enjoyed buffalo wings, fries, a cheesesteak, a club sandwich, and a pitcher of Boh. $54 before tip. Decent amount of outdoor seating (no smoking) with umbrellas. Clean bathroom too. Highly recommend!

Apparently this is a hidden gem in the middle of Remington! Vibes were very heavy metal dive bar, but I was in Rome and did what the Roman's do! The bartender was quick on serving the drinks and gave great portions for our shots of whiskey! It was a good nightcap after a long day of riding bikes with my buddies!

I’m new to the area and I’ve given this place three chances to get it right. I’m usually eating alone so I love the fact that you can sit outside with your pup. Downside is the fact you have to let them know you are planning on sitting outside and I got snapped at because I had to literally hold my little dog to go inside and let the bartender know I wanted service. Just sat there outside for 15 min and decided to peek in. Let that go. Second time same thing and just overall rude. Thought maybe they were in the weeds or understaffed. Tonight my friends were looking for a good burger and I recommend to go here. I got off work and walked to meet them again with my pup and guess what! My friend met me at the door with a beer and immediately the older bartender was like we are not seating anyone outside. Absolutely no reason why. I literally could of just enjoyed a beer or two standing and made my way home. My group of friends were the biggest table they had and honestly what is the deal?! It’s Friday night make some cash and make the locals feel welcomed. I’m not a picky person and gave them all the chances I could. Spend your money somewhere else.

Great local neighborhood bar. Tasty food and fun bartenders. If you want a chill place to enjoy a cold Boh and a good burger, while watching the O’s or Ravens this is the spot!

Maybe the best pub food in Baltimore. I am so content every time I visit. Incredible selection of beer. Amazing bar tenders. My compliments to the chef always.

My favorite neighborhood spot. The black bean vegi burger is the stuff of happy dreams (and I'm not vegetarian). I have yet to order something I didn't love. Everyone who works there is nice as well as efficient.

I went for my first time and enjoyed it. The fish and fries was good. My orange crushes was awesome. My waiter Josh was great. Only downfall I had he was working by himself and it took a long time to order. But otherwise he was great. I would still recommend this place.

Wonderful gem we found! The bar tender waited on us and he was very friendly! Drinks could've been a bit stronger but we were not disappointed. The burger was excellent 👌 Parking is a little to be desired but the tavern over all was great. I'll definitely return!

great spot for lunch, decently priced, quick service! Most restaurants in Hampden/Remington are closed during the day--but can always count on this place to be open!

My favorite spot in Remington. I recommend going on Tuesdays for their wings. 8.50 for a pound. The wings aren’t little either. I can also recommend the seared tuna pita wrap.

A convenient local bar with professional staff who make good cocktails, food is great (Wing Wednesdays are a win!), and a friendly, diverse, uncomplicated crowd.

I just was stuck in the middle of a bar fight here between the cook and some person that came in that had a beef with the cook, the cook got pushed by the person and proceeded to pull a bottle from the cooler and smash it over this persons head, then the person pulls out a knife and chased the cook around the restaurant as I tried to get out of their way. I left and then called the bar back later asking to speak to a manager, I was berated by the bartender for not paying my bill. Not coming here ever again. If management reads this, please feel free to get in touch. I will not be returning here until the cook is fired.

The fact that I have to write this review breaks my heart. On Monday evening I brought my 80+ year old grandparents here who were visiting me from Florida as this is my go to neighborhood spot. We were seated at a table in the back corner of the half empty restaurant for a several minutes when the waitress approached and asked my elderly grandparents and I to move tables. In a seat yourself type of establishment it is ridiculous to be asking patrons to move tables. Secondly - respect your elders. No signage and no larger parties ever came to sit at this table as was their concern. Whenever these two bartenders are working I will not be going there, eating there, drinking there, or recommending this place to my out of town friends. On top of this they overcooked my grandfathers burger - very disappointed.
