Sports bar with excellent food. Service was prompt and friendly. I apologize for forgetting to photograph the food, but I assure you that the presentation of the dishes was good, but not pretentious. I had a very good tomato bisque soup with lump crab meat. My sister-in-law had lump crab cake which, she assured me, was excellent. I had a a very good veggie wrap with a side of of delightfully spiced stingy onion rings. I wish every place that serves onion rings would come to this place and make their onion rings the way Turps makes them. My wife had a Bistro Salad that had apples and pine nuts in addition to the usual salad ingredients. She enjoyed it.

Last time I went to the turps the food was solid. The bar was pretty standard with really good prices. The main thing that stood out for me was the variety & depth of the menu. Turp's is one of those places you can go to when you have no idea what you want to eat & end up finding 4 things you didn't even realize you were in the mood for. If you're feeling adventurous, try the Monte Cristo.

This is a fun and friendly bat experience in the city. It's a gem, and can be packed sometimes. Service is friendly and prompt. The sweet potato tater tots are a hidden gem. The Baltimore wings are a must. The style is very lowkey and its located on north charles. prices are great. I definately reccomend you pop in for an affordable, fun, local bar experience. The business would have received 5 stars because the food was great the monte cristo was AMAZING but server/bartender (TAYLOR) charged herself an extra tip after the fact beware of sticky fingers having dishonest workers is why i won't be returning. The manager refunded my money but this leaves a bad impression on first time customers. If your visiting this establishment only bring cash.

Heard about this deep fried sandwich (Monte Cristo) and just had to try it. And I must say that I loved it. The buffalo wings are really good and they make sweet potato tots that are to die for. The crab cake was nice but the dish that really set it off and my wife and I enjoyed the most was the fish tacos! Beer battered fish, crunchy topping and that sauce, mmmmm hmmmm! And let’s not forget the churros... phenomenal!

Very friendly welcoming from bartender, Rochelle. We glanced at the menu before arriving. There is a TOGO that is separate from the Turp’s bar/dining. Excellent food. I can see why this place has positive reviews. It feels like a neighborhood spot and a travelers’ spot. Wings were wonderful. The sweet potato tots were delicious. Signature Viccino, pretty solid. This place used to be good, according to my husband, but I don’t know what happened. My husband and I get from here from time to time, but never again after this. The quality of food has gone down and I feel a bit cheated. We ate half of our meals and tossed the rest. We just couldn’t let $27 go to full waste. My sub had old lettuce on it with overcooked DRY chicken. And the roll was rubbery hard... It was the worst chicken cheesesteak I’ve ever had. My last orders in the past were wings and even they were over cooked and dry. Try to avoid this during the night. Idk who the daytime cook is but I hope they’re better

If you are looking for a sports bar in Baltimore with a great crowd and a great staff look no further than Turps! Great service, great drinks, great atmosphere. Taylor was especially great! I don't come to Baltimore often but when I do Turps is always on my agenda of places to go.

The menu is vast, the space a bit crammed, but I like it that way. This is a good spot during Artscape to get out of the heat. Their wings and pizza are always tasty.

I want to give this place 5 stars because I do love the spot. Great food, nice place to watch the game, and pretty friendly staff. But I have to warn you about one staff member. Beware Brandon the bartender! I can't tell you how many times I've walked into this place to see this employee absolutely trashed behind the bar. He gets so drunk he can barely do his job and he's yelled at me and my friends before. We've had one incident where we were outside (friend needed a smoke) and he came out to continue to yell in our faces. I know it's a sports bar so expectations are low, but a drunk belligerent employee is still jarring. Not sure if I want to come back at this point, might just check out Brewer's or Owl Bar?

I really like this place. I have visited frequently before providing a review. I have been mostly for lunch, but recently I was in for happy hour and dinner. I really love the sweet potato tots, and I order those every time. I finally ordered from the bar and enjoyed my drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

A nice sport's bar with a surprisingly broad menu selection. The chicken parmesan was EXCELLENT. A real chicken breast in a chunky tomato sauce. Surprisingly good!!! Service was great. This place is a bit loud. Great to have drinks and catch up with friends or to watch the game. It is difficult to hear so I would not recommend for a date night.

The place was a slightly small and friendly sports pub. It would be difficult to find a place to sit where you cannot see a TV. I can imagine this place fills up fast on game days. Reasonable prices. Went here for a drink on a weekday to watch the world cup, sat at the bar, and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff, friendly patrons, and the appetizer crab balls were surprisingly delicious (and no filler)!

Great place to watch the game- Most of the food was good... fried pickles were just ok- not great and mine was soggy, the chicken nachos were amazing Everyone's food was great but I didn't really like my dish- I got fish tacos... Im still giving 4 stars because the tacos could've just been outside of my liking- especially since I did like other stuff!! It's a nice little nook and was fun to watch the game here! I didn't have a drink but their drinks look amazing

Everytime I go to Turq's I am never disappointed. The food is good and the portion sizes are large. We ordered the Nachos and added chicken, wings, and a Monte Cristo. We took food home and the value was great.

I came here after pride and had a great experience! Amazing service and my cowboy burger was cooked perfectly and was sooo good- I inhaled it lol. Our Jell-O shots were great too!!

Cheap eats, good drinks, I take business clients here. The food is good and affordable, relaxed atmosphere. During the day is perfect for an informal business lunch. Outside seating. The occasional ask for change from passers by but if you live in Baltimore, you know how to handle that.

A great find with friendly service, good food and very reasonably priced. We recently spent a week in Baltimore and ended up eating here twice. The first time we both had pizzas, I ordered small and my husband was going to order medium until the waitress said that the medium was huge and he might want to rethink. He also went for small and was very glad that he did as the small was actually not small at all but huge and very delicious. He thought it was so good that on our second visit he had another one which was just as good, I had the burger this time and it was excellent (and also very big). Both times he had the cheesecake and thought it was one of the best cheesecakes he has every had (the very best was in Canada). Drinks are very cheap, $5 for a generous glass of wine with a fair selection of beers. Definitely work seeking out and if you are in the centre of Baltimore the free purple circulator bus will take you there.

There a bartender named Taylor that is amazing!!!!!. She is so special and she holds a special place in my heart had never been felt before. She has a wonderful personality, she's friendly, attentive and caring. She will go far life because of who she is. I'm grateful to know her. Never change my love, your personality is contagious.
