Went
New
Year's
Day
for
brunch.
Location
is
cool,
that
area
is
always
buzzing.
Sat
at
the
bar
to
avoid
a
wait.
Server/Bartender
was
nice
and
very
friendly,
but
was
a
bit
all
over
the
place.
Wish
she
had
paid
more
attention
to
us,
we
ended
up
asking
the
food
runner
for
things
because
we
just
couldn't
get
her
attention.
Drinks
were
interesting.
Got
the
bottomless
deal.
I
got
the
same
drink
three
times
and
it
came
out
different
three
times.
The
rum
punch
was
good,
sangria
was
not.
It
was
boozy,
so
good...just
not
consistent.
Came
here
specifically
because
I
wanted
chicken
and
waffles.
I
wasn't
wow'd
by
it
for
2
reasons.
The
first
is
that
the
waffle
I'm
sure
wasn't
fresh.
It
def
wasn't
soft
or
fluffy,
sure
it
wasn't
homemade.
It
was
a
Belgian
waffle
and
I
don't
want
to
say
it
was
store
bought
but
I
know
where
I
can
get
very
very
similar
waffles
at
in
a
local
store.
I
don't
get
them
for
myself
because
they
aren't
very
good.
So
needless
to
say
I
didn't
enjoy
the
waffle.
The
chicken
was
fine.
The
second
reason
is
that
I've
eaten
chicken
and
waffles
from
Connie's
right
up
the
street
and
they
are
definitely
some
of
the
best
in
the
area
-
made
from
scratch.
So
it's
easy
to
compare.
Gave
it
a
chance
and
I
wouldn't
have
it
again
at
the
point.
DJ
showed
up,
that
was
cool.
It
was
a
good
social
vibe.
But
again
the
service
could
have
been
better
and
I
would
say
it
was
just
me
but
on
my
side
of
the
bar
there
were
other
people
trying
to
get
attention
too
so
I
felt
like
well
at
least
in
not
the
only
one.
I'd
come
back
and
try
again
and
have
other
things
on
the
menu.
The
atmosphere
is
good.
