As someone who sincerely appreciates art, I loved this place. I'm from out of town and we don't have anything like the virtual art on the walls in Raleigh. It was so nifty. And the bar tenders were nice and attentive. It wasn't busy at all when we went either. Probably where there too early. Really enjoyed this place.

If you’re straight and into having drinks spilled on you by drunk people on an overly bright dance floors and rubbing against tons of sweaty people aggressively dancing you’ll have a lot of fun here. This place is ratchet af. Fun for people watching but the vibes are just not it. My shoes stuck to the floor from how sticky it was, the music sucked, and i left actually wet but NOT from my sweat. I counted and I had 5 drinks spilled on me and my friends by different random drunk people over the course of 40 minutes. Also a LOT of people there didn’t seem to understand what deodorant was because it smelled like nasty BO on the dance floor. The guys were kinda aggressive and the bouncers really didn’t seem to be paying attention or care. Overall, go if you’re into people watching or if you’re aggressively straight otherwise I’d avoid.

The Monday night studio sessions was everything. People come here to dance, party, & socialize. Safe environment. Crowd all age levels. Mature crowd. Great music! The bartenders are awesome as well. Live band & a DJ spinning funky beats. 😉😁😊

I have been going to Rockwell for about two months and the reason I come back weekly is because of Cici. She is the most attentive and respectful person. She lights the whole place up. Hands down the best bartender. Can’t wait to see her soon!

Good atmosphere but the DJ last night kept killing the vibe with bad transitions from rap to punk rock to other genres. Everyone would be dancing and then would stop because they changed the song so poorly. Everything else though is good. Definitely a fun dance bar if they fix the music.

The rockwell used to be my go to place in Baltimore. It used to be full of people rocking out to 90s and 00s rock/punk/indie music and was one of a kind. Today, unfortunately, there is no rock to be found. There is generic club music that seems to be worse every time I go and the crowd has completely changed for the worse. Bring back the rock music.

Atmosphere is fun and vibrant. The walls are all projectors and they change every few minutes to art. DJ plays music videos on a big screen. mostly sings you know, but definitely tosses in some more obscure at times too. There are always drink specials so you can get out of there at a reasonable price, especially for the area. Service is eh, but whatever, just be forceful and you'll get served.

Amazing music and the live drummer on Saturday Dec 2 was amazing!!!! He matched the beat perfectly to every different song change by the DJ. The drinks were great and the staff are kind and top of things. We are in our upper 30s/mid 40s and had an AMAZING night out and felt very welcomed. The patrons were also super nice. Incredible vibe...best night we have had out in a LONG time.

This place is a small yet well thought out space with light shows and theaterical visuals. The proces are fair and the staff is friendly. Its always a vibe in here.

I had my 22nd birthday party here, and it was absolutely amazing. The club does everything to make sure you have the best experience and made everything seamless and as easy as possible. They gave us two bottles of free shooters (which is SO generous) and had the best DJ who played all the songs that got all the girlies turnt. It's a great venue with a stage for the drunk girls to dance on (lol) and the service was amazing. Abe (and the whole bartending team) was so accommodating, and they even sent me a thank you email afterwards! I bought a round of drinks for my group, and they didn't make it feel like a big deal/a lot of work at all. They weren't badly priced at all, either! I felt so appreciated as the birthday girl, and I am definitely coming back on a regular night with my friends! I will recommend this place to everybody and am so excited to go back!

Super fun bar! Drinks were good. Lovely staff. Good music from the DJ. Was a little smaller than I expected, but didn’t stop anyone from jumping and dancing around! I was hoping for a little bit more of an Emo vibe, but they did play some pop punk bangers. They really made my fiancés birthday one to remember!

I was spiraling and about to Kill myself until I walked into Rockwell and this lovely lady by the name of Cici alias: vlvt saved me with her good looks and humor! The bar was busy but she was swift and efficient! She had the whole bar laughing and in good spirits. Love spending all my income at this place.

Place is neat, but it's certainly full of guys trying to take advantage of the women there. I would love for the bouncers to be more aware of these situations and respond accordingly.

A pleasant area to visit over the weekend. DJ on Saturday night is superior to DJ on Friday night. So make appropriate plans. crowded and mostly young. You can only go outside for a cigarette once. friendly employees. I also had feelings for a bartender.

Great place to go dance and listen to music. Amazing ambience with the panels on the walls shuffling constantly through cool avant garde art. great sound system and a cool photo booth!

I think we can all agree Thursday’s inherently suck, at least that was until you came here to see Cici bartending! Cici is 1000% the reason i come into rockwell. her energy is what brings me into the place. seeing her every week brings a boost of seratonin into my VEINS!!!! she’s so freaking rad j’adore her down ❤️

It's a lively environment and great music. Drinks are not strong at all. I just like the music and dancefloor

Not what it used to be. Buddies and I would come here on Saturday’s pumped for the live drummer and some pop punk/Rick. Now it’s just modern whatever. Lost its charm.

Marley is the best bartender EVER! She’s honestly the only reason I show up to the Rockwell, especially on Fridays when it’s super busy! Marley is friendly, and has an amazing attitude! Her service is amazing!

One of my favorite spots to enjoy late night dancing. Gets really packed and the photo booth is always a fun way to get pictures with friends.

The only thing I did not enjoy was that the washrooms are located at the back of the bar behind the dance floor making them almost impossible to get to when the bar was packed. But when we went on a slower night, it was a total blast!

They prioritize rock n roll and pop music over RnB and rap when it comes to karaoke. It doesn’t have an inclusive atmosphere which is sad. Support minority and women owned businesses folks ✊🏽
