Lovely local LGBT friendly bar. I used to go here all of the time with my good friend before he moved. When he was in town recently we stopped in and had a couple of drinks. The people here are the nicest people you could meet, including the owner. The bartenders are friendly and skilled. It is always very clean. It is the kind of place where a lot of the people know each other some nights, but they are also very friendly and welcoming to everyone who is not a regular. Other nights, from what I recall, there would be a larger crowd and sometimes karaoke and everyone had a great time. I really love it. Parking can be tricky like anywhere in the area, but I could usually find a place within a very short walk or closer.

A friendly environment with a splash of fun. This quaint little corner bar is PROUDLY owned by successful locals and their care and involvement in the community shows. Everything from karaoke to small parties and even a drag show can be happily held here.

Great neighborhood bar that is accepting and welcoming of all people. Nice selection of bottled/canned beer, liquor, and a handful of your standard draft beers (e.g. Miller Lite). Good prices on drinks. Karaoke every Friday and Saturday night! Other events here and there. Always a good time.

A very nice bar that offers cold drinks at good prices and karaoke Thurs-Sun!! The karaoke vibe is amazing, and very judgement free! Our only complaint is that there have been multiple times we have come here and the app they use to run the karaoke has had remote access to the controls turned on. So everyone who has the link to sign up for a song also has access to changing the speed, tone, volume, and even pause the songs as others are up singing (which has happened on multiple occasions and it is incredibly disrespectful and upsetting). The staff is able to turn off this setting once they are made aware of it, but it somehow keeps getting turned back on. I'm not sure if this is something that can be fixed, but it creates a really uncomfortable environment when patrons of the bar decide to mess with the person singing :c

Great local bar for a small town community vibe, welcoming bartenders and patrons every day of the week, and embarrassment-free (and encouraged) karaoke on the weekends. And for a slower pace crowd they have couches and pool in the back room. Whether you live near by, or just stopping in for a drink, the staff here always make you feel at home. Extra thanks to bartender Megan and all the other Rowan Tree bar backs/staff for encouraging the crowd friendly song choices and liquid courage.

We came to The Rowan Tree because of the reviews I saw about how nice everyone is and it was indeed true!! We went for karaoke for my sisters’s bachelorette and Reds, Megan, and Nick were the nicest people. Super inviting and we had a grand time. I didn’t have any drinks but my sister did and she said they were really good. Def recommend going if you want to do karaoke!!

Great atmosphere. I went right before Preakness weekend during happy hour and they had a live band playing & gave out free shots! I got an appetizer, but it was such a good portion size, I wish I had someone to share it with. The bartenders are flirty and friendly. Will definitely return

Steve is the best owner of a bar, period. Made sure I went home safe. Everyone there is super kind and lovely. Enjoyed singing but also small and tight knit. Megan, Donna, Shawna, and the crew there made it the night of my life!!!!

This place was great, a little small but really fun and that man really knows how to make a good rum punch.
