If you're going there for the food, well... I've had better tasting food that costs less. It came out looking wonderful but the wings as well as the crab dip were salty. My main course was the stuffed shrimp. The stuffed shrimp was nice and so was the spinach. My rice was cold. How? I don't know. Our waitress was adorable but not very efficient. However, it's a great atmosphere with a nice view. The band was absolutely delightful and very lively. Would I go there again? Absolutely. I believe in second chances.

Free parking, masked staff, friendly server, beautiful holiday decorations, water vistas, tasty food.... are you on your way yet? :) I was a little leery at first thinking it was downtown, but it is right off the highway with their own parking lot right on the water. Old Bay wings were tasty and average size. Calamari was okay but small portion. But the fish and chips were a great serving size and delicious (they do have malt vinegar too). I was a little unimpressed with their online beer menu, but fear not they have a nice selection of 6-8 (a few sold out though) local craft drafts. Glorious nice day so disappointed we couldn't eat outside and a little bit of a shame to eat waterfront and they put the shades down, but I guess those tables make the call. Arrived at 12:45PM on a weekday and almost all tables full of unmasked patrons, packed in fairly tightly (FYI). Overall no problems and a good place.

The food was OK at best. The rules for seating was annoying Only big parties get to sit next to the water. Regardless if all the tables are empty. The crab pretzel was a waste of money. It didn’t deliver the crab nor the pretzel. The crab cake wasn’t that great either. The salad was good. I didn’t care for the pear soaked in wine.

Great place to get crab cakes and clam chowder by the water. Service was great and the atmosphere was casual and fun. We were seated right away. There was room on the patio and inside. The inside is divided into different areas. The appetizers were really good and our server made some great recommendations.

Great visit! We sat on the outdoor patio. Service was prompt, food was amazing, the drinks were great. Had the Maryland Mule great if you are a fan of ginger otherwise stay away. The house margarita was excellent definitely recommend. Only thing is the paper straws thats now the "in" thing. Good for the environment bad for your drink. The crab dip was excellent not to creamy good portion of lump crab meat. The chicken Chesapeake sandwich was big and plentiful.

Nick‘s Fish House is a great place for a good hearty meal after a long day. I usually get their version of surf and turf, the steak and shrimp over mashed potatoes and asparagus. Sometimes, if I’m a little extra hungry, I also get a side of their decadent mac & cheese. Their staff are almost always super attentive, very kind. If you can, ask for a seat on the second floor balcony, where you’ll be treated to a sunset over the Hanover Street bridge with your dinner.

You're not coming here for the atmosphere. I need to come back during the day because, it might have some amazing views of the harbor. But picnic tables and plastic cups don't create a great atmosphere. The crab dip is so-so. For a place with this reputation and in Baltimore, I expected more. It was lacking in flavor. It reminded me of something you'd get at a national chain restaurant that doesn't specialize in seafood. Also, the French bread is good, hot, freshly baked but a little heavy for an appetizer. I would have preferred some type of pita or pita chips. The lobster mac and cheese looked good but it was really dry; like it was missing the cheese. We ended up putting the dip on top of the lobster mac and cheese and that was a delicious idea! Crab Imperial Stuffed Shrimp was very well prepared. Excellent flavor to the crab imperial and perfectly cooked jumbo shrimp. The Shuck 'n Fried Oyster Platter was excellent. The oysters were breaded nicely with a great ratio of breading to oyster. Excellent flavor and crunch to the fried oysters. The seasoned fries were piping hot and covered with seasoning. I'm sure I'll be back. I wouldn't order those appetizers again, but I'd definitely get the fried oysters and crab imperial stuffed shrimp. I'm looking forward to trying their crab cakes and cream of crab soup.

The servers were really friendly! Some of the dishes were great, others meh. I got the catch of the day which I chose the Mahi Mahi with crab on top with rice, really delicious but expensive. The oysters were average and the lobster Mac and cheese wasn't too good. We assumed the half and half soup tasted better separately. However the Caesar salad was great! They had a heated area outside to eat which felt really nice.

This place seems to have trouble delivering consistent quality to the table. We ordered two broiled fish entrees, the cauliflower tacos, & the big seafood platter (fried). It seems all the dishes were prepared before the fried seafood. The seafood was hot. Crispy, tasty. Excellent though. Expensive. But the other three dishes were cold. Fries were completely cold. Waitress didn't come by for 5 or 6 minutes, so nobody got their fries corrected. The spinach was tasty but so salty. It's incredible any cook would let that out of the kitchen. No one could eat it despite me liking salty food. Vegetarian wife had the cauliflower tacos but were completely cold. After waiting 5 minutes for the waitress, she asked that they be heated up. Waitress took to kitchen and they said they couldn't heat up because of aioli on the dish, so they threw them out and were not able to make any more as they had run out of something. Appetizer we had a dozen Chesapeake oysters. They were pretty large, but I found them rather bland. They came with a little thing of tartar sauce with sprinkled horseradish on top. Should have had its own container of horseradish and another container of vinegar.

Kind of tucked in there but overall a very cool place to hangout. Drinks were refreshing and food was tasty. While waiting you can take in some scenery. The only reason for the four star is due to the delay on an entrée. Would recommend to anyone to try and I’ll definitely be back.

Great food, great location, great price! The restaurant located right next to the harbor. Nice and clean outdoor seatings. Big food portions and and the staff are friendly and attentive. They were out of steamed crabs when we were there so we ordered the crab cake and they were fresh and delicious. Steamed clams and mussels were very good and large portions too. The seafood salad was good, a bit too much sauce. If you’re in the area, try this restaurant and if the weather is nice sit outdoors by the harbor if you can. When we come back again, I’m hoping to try their steamed crabs.

An extremely popular place to get seafood on the water. The food came out quickly. Local oysters were just okay, but the crab dip and lobster egg roll were great. This place is popular for events, so it was packed on a Saturday but there was still room to sit at one of their three bars. The parking lot was full so they had an attendant directing people to an overflow lot to park where you can get picked up and shuttled over via golf cart. I thought that was a really cool way to show they care about their customers. Although the poor bartender was clearly overworked, she was still very friendly and helpful.

Nick’s is by far one of, if not the best fish house in Baltimore. Servers are attentive, location is great, and the vibe was cool. My spouse and I ordered A dozen of large male crabs and stuffed shrimp with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The food came out fast and hot. The crabs were extremely delicious, meaty, just steamed to perfection. The stuffed shrimp was scrumptious and seasoned to perfection. Collectively we ate a total of 4 crabs, and had no room for more, they were huge. I would recommend Nick’s to anyone asking. A true GEM!

Came on a rainy day but the place also surprisingly full when we thought it was totally empty from the outside. It’s probably even more packed on a sunny day with the water side tables. Our waiter was very kind and attentive and also patient with our indecision. Finally settled on the some good and great dishes: Creamy crab soup - very good but also very heavy…avoid if dairy is hit your best friend cuz it was great but by the last few spoons it felt like I plaits drank of carton of heavy cream/butter Crab stuffed pretzel - huge, lots of crab, steep for a single pretzel but tasty Mussels and clams - a+ with the white wine sauce, the bread that came with it was insanely salty Seafood platter - enjoyed each item but the old bay season rice as a side was average at best and had no old bay flavor. The scallops were tender and done perfectly, the shrimp and tilapia were good, crab cakes were very good. Overall a great experience can’t wait to return to the more.

We went here one Friday evening to support a friend who was performing live with the band. We had a great time! The band was lively and I really enjoyed my grapefruit crush, which I was told is one of the restaurant’s most popular drinks. Highly recommend! We all ordered fish tacos. They were just OK, but our server was great. Overall, this was a nice spot to spend a Friday night in the summer. The restaurant is off the water and has nice views and a fun atmosphere! Would go again and try something new.

Crab cake crab cake is all I can keep screaming to order ! . The best on the menu to eat. Cream of crab soup also enjoyable. I order the catch of the day and order blackened salmon with a side of red mash potatoes and spinach. I would say that the spinach needed some seasoning it was just plain . But the food was cooked well and fresh. Crab cake = 10 Fried calamari = 8 Salmon blacked = 8

Absolutely fantastic! You HAVE TO get the cream of crab soup. It is by far the best soup I have ever had in my entire life. Sweet, salty, and with huge chunks of crab meat. The rum bucket was very good! We also got the crab grilled cheese, lobster Mac and cheese, and (OMG) the best bread pudding ever. Everything was so good!

This was my first time in Baltimore, and I tried the platter. I'm born and raised in Texas, and seafood has always been my favorite food. Apparently - I've never actually had it until now because it's unreal how good this was. I was licking the plate and my fingers. Delicious. Moist. Soft. Fresh water taste. It has totally changed how I expect my seafood to taste going forward. And yes, the crab cake is a 10 out of 10, but honestly, the tilapia stole the show.

I had the ‘Crab grilled cheese’ and it was fantastic. The food, service and atmosphere are all top notch. They seem to have a large variety of good seafood and I would recommend to anyone that enjoys a good evening by the pier with some good food. I would certainly go back and probably will be.
