We went to Gunther & Co back in the fall (I just forgot to write a review), but it was amazing. We sat in the garden section in the back and they had the heaters going which made the ambiance extremely comfortable. I was able to sit with a small jacket and not think about the chill again. The food was to die for. We decided to split a few items so we could try more. The highlight for me was the cold smores. I know it was chilly out, but how can you resist! Each food was distinctly unique, fresh, and delicious. The staff was super friendly and more than happy to give us suggestions on their likes. The parking situation isn't bad since it is next to a small shopping center. We were able to park close with no issues.

Super cool place of dinner or drinks. Took some people from work for happy hour and some food. Oysters excellent, pork dumplings very good and amazing cocktails. Great outdoor patio and bar, excellent service. The area is really nice as well. Entrees look amazing, on the higher end price-wise but totally worth it.

This is my second time going to Gunther & Co, and this time, it was for a bridal shower. The place is beautiful, the food delicious and the staff very friendly. We had a few entree choices to pick from, so a friend and I split the shrimp and grits and the blueberry French toast meals. Both so yum. We also had a basket of fresh made blueberry lemon bread, donut holes, and mini biscuits ... all three were good, but the biscuits were delicious. It's definitely a great place to go.

Came here for my birthday last weekend and it was delicious! The food was absolutely phenomenal and it was amazing quality with so much flavor. We ordered the wood-oven roasted oysters, tea smoked duck breast and the grilled liberty pork chop. Our server, Patrick, and the rest of the staff were so nice and friendly. I didn’t have a favorite restaurant in Baltimore until now. This place deserves 10 stars. We’ll be coming back soon!

Solid choice for dinner or brunch, and its easy to get reservations in a pinch. The decor is super cool. It's modern and as warm as a large former brewery space can be. The octopus is great. I also have enjoyed the steak and the burger. A great addition to the area and also a solid nice sit down restaurant in that Canton Crossing area which favors fast casual.

I was first introduced to Gunther & Co. When photographing a friend’s wedding, and I absolutely fell in love. I’ve been back for routine dinners now more times than I can count. The staff is so friendly and warm. This family-run business is a labor of love, and it shows. The food is fresh and elevated. Their menu rotates routinely, and it just gets better and better!

Had a delicious meal - all three courses were full of flavor and perfect portion. Staff were so friendly! The decor was great too! Next time I want to sit at the kitchen window and watch the chefs!

I come to Gunther & Co every time I'm in Baltimore; regularly for 4 years. I have always had an enthusiastically wonderful experience. The service is top notch. The drinks are well executed. Oysters are super fresh. The menu changes with the seasons but the mainstay and star of the show is their Thai Seafood Hotpot provided you are okay with some heat! Thanks Team for this long running labor of love!

Am not sure why this place has ao many stars. Took a friend here for a birthday dinner. Had a reservation which we had to wait 10 minutes to get seated. Okay no big deal. Sat down waited about 15 minutes before our server was able to get our orders. We ordered the drinks and the food at the same time since we noticed the place was moving very slow!. Server explained it's because they had a lot of events going on. Okaaay. Our drinks came out pretty fast the bar did a good job. We ordered 4 burgers and a flat bread since we wanted something fast. I swear we waited 1hr for them. We got to the point that we asked for the check. They said well done burgers take a while to get ready 🤨🤨. When the food finaly came out, all the fries were over salted! One of the burgers was rare and the flat bread was the worst I have ever had yuck! All the bacon on the burgers were burnt. Smh. Oh yeah, they gave us a complimentary humus that was not hummus and burnt AF!! Go enjoy your money elsewhere.

Gunther & Co. is consistently fantastic from the top to bottom. I’ve dined in a few times during brunch and enjoyed the French toast, breakfast pizza, and cocktails (also pictured & equally great is the shrimp and grits) The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and the food is amazing every time. Highly recommended for brunch on the patio or inside the gorgeous restaurant. Looking forward to trying the dinner menu! (Photos from Summer 2022)

We had a great brunch with my family. The food and the service was great. We had the burger, shakshouka, and the cheese flatbread. They were all super tasty. I especially enjoyed the spicy maple sauce on top of the flat bread, there is certainly a chef touch. The service was also so nice, we celebrated my father’s birthday and they were so kind to prepare a special dessert for us.

It was an absolutely wonderful new years, thank you to Jerry, Nancy, and all of their staff for what they do is truly phenomenal. I wouldn't have wanted to spend our time and money elsewhere everything came to our table with love. Cheers Jerry I hope we can share a glass of bourbon one of these days. Apologize for the photos as I really just couldn't wait when each dish came to the table.

Surprising and delightful location (renovated factory space) with a living plant wall that brightened up the place. Food was interesting and tasty. We got the Apple French toast and the Curry lentil skillet and both were great

Super cute and happening spot! They have so many oysters on hand and it was clearly very popular as the guy was shucking the whole time we were there! Great and different cocktails for their brunch menu, just very original flavors. The brunch itself was so delicious, I had a Salmon powerhouse thing and it was light but super filling. The biscuit is also amazing! The ambiance was very lively and energetic. Just a fun place to be on a Sunday morning. Also I heard their precovid happy hour deals were unbeatable!

Visited Gunther & Co. for a brunch with our son. The renovations are very nice. Neo-industrial looking. It wasn't overly busy but waitperson seemed overwhelmed and had difficulty with language. I ordered a double IPA and she returned with two beers. My wife's cocktail order (slightly dirty Belvedere martini) completely confused her and it took some back and forth to get it partially understood. We ordered 6 raw oysters and they arrived quickly and were chilled. I got a Spring Salad which was nice. Contained pistachios so those with nut allergies beware. My son got Shakshouka which he really liked. He also got a biscuit and said it was wonderful. My wife ordered shrimp and grits, but said it was 'barely warm'. Overall it was a good experience and with a different waitperson I would've given 4 stars for everything.

Ordered the green garbanzo hummus & flatbread, Berkshire pork chop, homemade pasta, salted caramel panna cotta, and pumpkin spice tahini cake. Everything tasted phenomenal! The pasta sauce hit the spot and pork chop was so juicy & tender. However, the hummus did not live to my expectations and lacked quite a bit of flavor. The garlic on the flatbread overpowered the hummus significantly. I also thought the brussel sprouts on the pork chop dish were too salty. Otherwise, wonderful experience and for sure return!

Had so much fun! Sat at the kitchen bar and watched the team, including the owners prepare and serve all the dishes. Super friendly and professional staff. Really worked well as a team. We started with fresh, light drinks appropriate for the summer. We ordered both raw and roasted oysters, two amazing preparations. The steamed shrimp and pork dumplings were next where the sauce was the star. Main dish was the Peruvian marinated pork chop with that green mojo sauce! We were treated like super stars. Excellent wine pairing and took a dessert home for the kids. Perfect night! Totally worth a trip to the city.

Unhesitatingly, one of the best restaurants we have been to in Baltimore. Excellent and tasty dishes. Service was top class. Every dish was delivered without a big wait. We were seated next to the kitchen so we would not see the upper level. Ambience was good and wish I could see the upper level as well. Recommend this place very highly. We ordered oven roasted olives, Halibut crudo, wood oven charred octopus, duck confit spring rolls, Tagliatelle Pasta, Pan roasted rock fish, thai seafood hot pot and whipped coffee pannacotta and chifon cake for desserts. A tiny room for improvement probably is that the portions could be a bit larger for the prices charged, but that is a personal opinion. We will be back at this place again soon.
