We randomly stepped into this restaurant on a Sunday evening and were really impressed by its food. We were warmly welcomed by the front desk at the entrance. Every dish that we ordered tasted flavorful and at the same time possessed a fresh and authentic Italian vibe. Spaghetti: You could tell from the slightly coarse texture of the spaghetti that it was freshly hand made and it well absorbed the flavor of the seafood broth. The fresh blue crab meat on the top also added a local twist to this transitional pasta dish. Seafood medley: The seafood was paired with real lobster broth. The broth was so delicious that we had to get a second basket of bread (no bread left). In addition to the taste of the dishes, the prices at this restaurant were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great Italian food at the heart of Baltimore little Italy’s area. Menu’s are all from scratch. Pasta are tender and fresh. The beef ribs taste really good. The seafood are cooked right to my taste bud. It’s a good experience to be here. Daniel was very helpful in explaining the menu.

Reserved a table through OpenTable. A very pleasant host took us upstairs to our table. We were offered sparking water and took 2 bottles. The cheese and fruit platter consisted of a small amount of apples slices and various Italian cheeses. The special was a short rib beef stew and was fantastic. Lemon drop martinis went down real easy. Highly recommended establishment in Little Italy. Business casual dress and kid friendly.

We came in for dinner about a year ago and it was really good.. but we just ordered take out and it’s honestly the worst Italian food we’ve ever had and very pricey for what we got. We’re pretty surprised at how bad it is. The pizzas are so small and taste worse than a pizza bought in the grocery store. The pasta was also very bad, especially the vegetable pasta that has no flavor at all. The only decent thing was the linguini taleggio. We ordered one gluten free pasta and they gave us regular pasta instead. We had to order pizza from another restaurant because it was that bad and our gluten free person couldn’t eat anything. It feels like these were 2 completely different restaurants, I’m pretty flabbergasted at how bad it is.

Came here on Christmas Eve. Our server recommended us to try appetizer combo, which is pretty good since I wanna try all different dishes. The food is great with large amount, we didn’t finish all of them. We recommend to order one appetizer to share for two people and each one of you order one entree. I will probably come back again to try more next time.

Great authentic Italian place, located in Little Italy. Came here for a graduation dinner and the food is excellent and made in-house. The atmosphere is semi formal and there is a paid parking lot right across the street. Highly recommend!

Incredible handmade Italian cuisine with an amazing atmosphere and very unique food options! This is a must for anyone in little Italy. The owner makes the pastas and sauces and it's definitely noticeable.

Looking at pictures on Google review, the interior seems a bit tacky, but that is not the case at all! It was very pleasant, and the food (without completely raving) is absolutely delicious. Not to mention they have constantly updating specials and a great wait staff!weekend? (My pictures do not do the food presentation justice...we couldn't wait and already dug in)

I was so happy and surprised that this place accommodates vegans. nothing except one salad is vegan from the start, but any salad can be made vegan by asking to take the cheese off, and a few pasta dishes can be made vegan as well. the vegan homemade pasta is the same as the gluten free pasta -- made with rice flour. the pesto is vegan as well because it doesn't have cheese! our server was very knowledgeable and explained which items can be modified. the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming.

We came in for my friend's Birthday. We came in, and was one of the last for the night to be seated. The service was absolutely amazing our waitress was extremely nice, and had an amazing personality. The food was incredible, the homemade limoncello, and red house wine were amazing. The kitchen staff was very nice and came out to see how we enjoyed our food. The experience was amazing.

The food was good, but not spectacular. The customer service, just nothing special or super attentive. The cost seemed very good to me. Also, the atmosphere is quite calm and spacious. Plus, there was very calm music in the background.

From greeting through departing, a most excellent experience. Very classic atmosphere, but not pretentious. First place in years that offered to take jackets and backpack for storage while dining. Food and service both EXCELLENT. I do reviews, but not usually any pictures. This needed one. Authentic, home made dishes. Traditional presentation

Great dining experience with good service and amazing dessert. I had the Spaghetti Neri Al Granchio with a glass of Pink Peach. I was apprehensive about having crab with spaghetti however the dish was overall tasty. For dessert, I played it safe and went with the Tiramisu and Oh My Gosh! 😍 It was sooo good!! I was already feeling full from the spaghetti dish however as soon as I tasted the Tiramisu, it was like I couldn't get enough. I ate it so fast, I was filled with regret that I didn't have any more. 🤣 I'm still filled with regret that I didn't order a second one. 😅 When I'm in Baltimore again, I'm definitely visiting here to try more dishes and possibly multiple desserts.

Amazing food and healthy portions. Service was a little slow when they got busier but our server was very attentive. The host was an extremely nice older Italian man that I wish was my uncle.

So many Italian choices in Little Italy. We looked around, saw the reviews and wonderful pictures of some fantastic food. We had to go! Friendly service as we were met at the door and taken to our table. Many choices including gluten free and vegetarian options. I dived into the seafood medley offering and was not disappointed, tasted fresh from the sea. Wifey had the vegetarian ravioli and was equally satisfied. Good drinks, saw many of the highlight homemade limoncello Lemon Drop Martinis on several tables.

This was a stop in the little Italy food walking tour. So there was a sampler to try when we got there. Well the place is super nice. The staff were super friendly, and the food was excellent! I am fired up to go back for dinner.

Family atmosphere. The staff is client-oriented. I asked if possible to change some food combinations and they did it for me. They found the right wine for my taste. Thank you very much! The food was delicious and I really enjoyed my choice. The taste of dishes was balanced and I ordered some food to take out. For the dessert, I had cheesecake and latte. I had a great time and experience with La Tavola.
