Excellent service in this location. Good quality food. Love the shack burger and the chicken sandwich. Most importantly, each one of the staff is super friendly and cautious about Covid-19.

Shake shack is up there with those sought-after, regional favorite, burger joints like Culver's in the Midwest or Whataburger down south. Shake shack does a good job repping the east coast. The service was fair and friendly. As for the food, it tastes delectable! Not a huge fan of crinkle cut fries, but the cheese sauce had strong notes of cheddar and a creamy texture which really suited these fries. The milkshake was above average, nothing mind-blowing about it but the quality was definitely there. The smoke shack is a great burger! Smash burgers are mouthwatering but i think the choice of chopped cherry peppers really added a tanginess that enhanced the burger a lot! My only real complaint is the price, around $36 for everything you see in the pictures! I'd say that's a lot considering we didn't get full meal combos. Other than that, i definitely recommend you try it for yourself and cross it off your list of burger places to visit!

Good burgers, but on the slightly pricier side for fast food. However, the speed of service at this location is so unbelievably slow that I think a more applicable name is "slow food". It took literally 20 minutes for our number to get called, and this was at 8pm when there weren't even that many people. If you need a quick meal or don't want to wait like they're serving you Michelin star dishes, I'd stay away from this location.

The place is conveniently located in the inner Harbor area but that’s all there is to say. Service is terrible, slow , inefficient and unclean. The place has littered floors and random homeless people hanging out right by the door. Last year on a summer evening a group of 30 odd “juveniles” just stormed in and it was scary. Even if you order online and it says your order is ready for pickup you need to wait a good 15-20 minutes or more to get it!

Visited this place over the weekend. The place is beautifully lit and had a good customer service. Your phone number is taken during the order for a smooth delivery prices, even for the dine it. The lights are the one of the main attractions of this place. Ordered the chicken nuggets, sandwich and fries. All of them tasted very good. The nuggets were super tender and is definitely a must on the order. The choices are limited, it being a burger place. If you have burger cravings and want to try out something different yet usual, check out this place. Friends I visited this place with also mentioned that the ice tea and the draft beer were good too. So adding that to the review as well.

Well, I certainly don't get what all the hub bub is about. Perhaps it was due to the location, but no... people really seem to like Shake Shack and they talk about how great it is. I don't know if I can totally get behind that. This was our first time, the menu is much smaller than I had anticipated. The food also took longer to prepare than I would have thought. The fries were quite good. The burgers were underwhelming. Like, taste-wise, they were pretty good and I liked the charred edges of the meat. But they were small for the price, like McDonalds burgers are thicker. I got a double SmokeShack and it was not even close to what I was expecting. Again, flavor great... portion, not so great for nearly $12. So, we got three burgers, three fries and three sodas for $51. Not sure I would go back.

I went to the original Shake Shack in New York and the burgers are now pitiful in size and taste in comparison. It’s still an okay burger overall but nothing special and kind of expensive for fast food. Service was fast and okay. Place was nice and clean and well located.

Shake Shack in general is fantastic; this one in particular can be mixed in terms of service. I’ve had bad experiences waiting as long as a half hour for food even when there weren’t many customers (see photo), but have also had quick and courteous service. I think they are improving. So rude and racist. This visit was a complete insult, if anything. I ordered delivery from here last week and liked the vegan burger—it was a decent size, and I almost couldn’t finish it. So I came in person today to buy the exact same order, and they gave me a TINY, TINY burger, too small even for a child. They gaslighted me into believing that the burger doesn’t change sizes and that the size of the same burger I bought last week was a figment of my imagination. I was starving after eating it in two bites and had to fill myself up with the COLD fries until I got home. THEN they made me repeat myself MULTIPLE times, acting like they didn’t understand me just because I look ethnic. I was literally speaking word... pause... word, like I was speaking to a child, and they still acted like they didn’t understand. It wasn’t even loud in there. I spoke so loudly that even the people in the back started looking, and they acted like I was speaking a foreign language. I don’t even have an accent. I told them my order number to pick it up, and they said it does not exist, until I pulled up the receipt from my email, imagine if I didn't request a receipt to be sent to my email... NOT ONLY THAT, the doggie shake with cookies was placed in a human-sized cup. What were they trying to say exactly? That I bought myself a doggie shake? Or did they expect my dog to drink from a human cup? I ended up pouring it into a bowl for my dog, and he didn’t even touch it, let alone taste it. Not only rude but also racist. I came here just to be insulted. Never coming back.

Great burgers and shakes. You won't be disappointed and make sure you get the shack sauce.

Ive had shake shack food here and in Dubai......Good tasting but small quantities that make you feel food is overpriced. We were there for lunch and had to wait to order and then to get our food. They need to do better to manage their lunch surge. Customer service was great but in general I didn't feel like shake shack gives the best value for money.

Food was great. But pricey. Drinks were delicious and lady who brought our food seemed nice. My issue is the self ordering. Most people have never been there especially on weekends I assume visiting or vacationing. It’s going to take awhile for people to order because they don’t even know what is on the menu. Quickly backs up lines out the door. Then it asks for a tip? A tip for what, you order your own food and drinks. Seat yourself. Get your own napkins sauces or silverware. I mean why would you ask for a tip? For cooking your food you paid for lol?😂

Shake Shack in Baltimore was a very nice experience..fast and friendly customer service, food was excellent. This store had smoke cheddar, man that makes the sandwich have a different taste all together which enhances the great taste of any sandwich you put it on. Like I said the cashiers were patient and knowledgeable about there product and were very helpful with customers. Chicken, burgers, fries and milk shake all fantastic. I also like that buzzer system that lights up when your order is ready

Service was good but food was okay okay. We tried Burger 🍔 bit costly and not even properly filled. The shake was good.

The wait was about 30 minutes when I went on a Thursday afternoon. I was shocked to see that they sell wine and beer. My fries were delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the burger. My half and half was bad. I couldn't taste any sweet tea, and the lemonade was super bitter. There are plenty of seating and standing options to eat your food. Staff were courteous and respectful.

Really busy place, but the food was excellent. Enjoyed the milkshake and the fries. It was a nice place to take the family for lunch when sightseeing the historic ships of Baltimore.

I mean, it's a pretty good Shake Shack. I've been multiple times, but my favorite item to get is the orange creamsicle float. I liked it so much that I tried to recreate it at home, which didn't end up being too hard. My group also tried the oreo shake thing, which was really good but HEAVY. One of those shakes definitely has 1k+ calories in it, and its really, really sweet. It's something you have to try, but with a partner. The location is great. Every time I've been, I've walked around Inner Harbor area and around the Trade Center across the street.

Omg, this Shake Stack mushroom burger was delicious and so juicy!!! It was oozing with cheese and juiciness. The sauce was so good. I recommend trying this burger. It wasn’t crowded, but I waited about 10 minutes for my burger to be done. Just FYI. I paid a little over $12 for this burger… yikes.😬but it was so good.

Great food but super expensive

This was my first visit to Shake Shack. I decided upon the Avocado Burger, but when I went to the kiosk it was not an available choice, so I was disappointed. Fortunately, the manager Alan stopped by our table to ask us how was our food, and asked about our experience, and I asked about the missing menu item. He explained why it most likely was not on the menu. While talking we realized that 3 out of the 5 of us would have ordered that menu item. Alan left us and returned with 3 coupons to compensate for the burger. I will go back if only to get a chance at that burger. Thank you Alan for the great first time experience at the Shake Shack.

My husband loves this place and it never disappoints! I love this cheese fries and the burgers and always delicious.

The bags make the food cold

I really enjoyed having a hamburger with there’s more meat than bun. My food was hot and delicious. My french fries were even crispy like I like them. The root beer was very good. April one of the friendly employees always make sure we were taken care of coming over multiple times to see if we need refills and cleared our table. Highly recommend coming here again and to my friends

Second year at an annual convention with bad level of service. The crew in this place just doesn't care about customers. In person was terrible last year, so this year we tried pickup. (Choices are low Sunday nights in downtown Baltimore.) We were pressed for time (we're part of running our convention). It took 3 requests over 15 minutes to get the cashier to double check the orders waiting behind her to find ours. As for quality? A request for "well done" and a double burger should not have half that is RAW. Not rare, RAW. The outside was browned, but check the photo - just not cooked! One star because, for me, this is failing the BASICS! (No time and strength to take this up in person. Good fries, but NO SALT means just that. And again -- BASIC. My last time made me leary of a chain I didn't know. Now I'm at NEVER AGAIN with these guys.

I ordered a 1 scoop of custard. This is all they gave me in a cup. Its literally one spoon and I finished it in 10 seconds. Shake shack should be ashamed of themselves..

The fries were on point! Awesome fries. The cheeseburger was ok, but my son and I agreed the chicken nuggets were awful. They weren't burnt or anything, they just didn't taste good and were very greasy. We ended up throwing them out. The staff was friendly and were very helpful with the woman before me who didn't speak much English.

Food was good and came out quick. You order on kiosk and no real interaction with employees except for bringing your food out to you. So it's hard to rate service. Super close the harbor and downtown. Nice outdoor seating when no crowds are lingering around outside

The food was hot and cooked correctly. I'm not sure if they got new cooks or just changed up a cooking method, but the burgers have been a lot more consistent in appearance. At one point, I have had burgers where the edges were overcooked. But over the last several months there has been improvement and the food has tasted really good.

Today we had a sad experience at this Shake Shack! I have to say I used to love this place, and we would go very often because it's so close to our home. But today, while we were eating with my family, a mouse started running around our table and nearby. We called the manager in charge, she was able to see the mouse herself and her response was, 'Oh, Im sorry, now I have to put in a work order.' We left the restaurant feeling very disappointed with that response. I don’t think we will ever return.

Pointed to kiosk and told no hotdogs then asked for tip. Burgers incredibly small. Avocado burger cold. Follow up - 5 days later. I don’t do many reviews and only did this one because there was a big review sign on the table we were eating at. The company reached out to me that same day and asked for more details, which I gave. They then asked for proof of purchase, which coworkers told me was because of all the fake reviews. Shake Shack then refunded me my entire purchase price and was offered a discount to try again. My review stands for what it was, but the customer service after a bad experience was very good. I don’t want this to be an encouragement to leave bad reviews hoping to get refunded. It was never my intention to do that and I debated even mentioning that I did get a refund. No request was made for me to alter the review. I also won’t go back to try again. I don’t eat out often enough, or live close enough to have to choose to go back to any place I’ve had a bad experience. That’s my choice.

my husband and i got the smoke shack with the christmas cookie shake and the apple cider donut shake. absolutely the most delicious burger and shakes we’ve ever had. such a friendly environment and welcoming staff

Very tasty, reasonable price for location and specialty food. Everything but the drinks were tasty. Do not recommend the flavored lemonade. The custard was amazing. The smash style burgers were tasty. The fries felt and tasted like cafeteria fries, but I grew up on school lunches so were fine for me. Would have been 5 stars if the lemonades hadn't tasted bitter and the same.

Little on the pricy side, but very good! Had the hot ones burger and the portobello mushroom burger. The special juices were "meh", very sweet, not bad, just not my thing.

Delicious fast-casual food. We had a bit of a wait for our food but that was expected. Staff were polite and the restaurant itself was clean and well kept. One thing to note: While at our table we were approached by a man who said he was running for state Senate and handed us a card, and another man who asked if we could buy him food. I expected this being in a relatively popular restaurant in a large city, but it's something to be aware of.

Shake Shack hits every time. The staff is friendly and you can order from a self checkout kiosk! For me that is wonderful when my social battery has run out and I don't want to fake a smile. Food is yummy as always. The cheese fries are perfection. Good place for a quick bite.

Food was great at this Shake Shack as it is with most locations - solid place for family even those who do not eat meat. However, what I want to report is that the management here exceeded my expectations and brightened my day. I accidentally dropped my ID at the restaurant and got home with no idea where it was. I remembered taking a credit card out of my pocket at Shake Shack and thought it might be there, but I figured someone would just take it. When I went back to Shake Shack and asked about it, the staff and management immediately knew what I was talking about. They brought out the ID in a stamped envelope with my address and a handwritten note to me. This was amazing. I couldn’t believe they care that much for a customer. Thanks Shack Shake Baltimore! We’ll definitely patronize you in the future when we’re in the city. Happy Holidays!

Wanted root beer floats and no root beer. Ordered vanilla shake instead and got chocolate. Cardboard sign in door said “no burgers”. Really?
