Small plate concept for brunch! This restaurant features a "Bottomless Brunch" in which patrons may order unlimited servings of tasty breakfast favorites for two hours. The menu is broad featuring a combination of traditional breakfast items and Mediterranean specialties. Also of note are the $0.25 mimosas. Serving brunch on both Saturdays and Sundays, and offering reservations, Cava Mezze is an excellent choice for anyone wanting a break from the norm.

I went for brunch this past Sunday with friends from out of town. Our waitress was great. My drink was watered down. I ordered one of the cocktail ciders. We were told the a la carte items on the brunch menu were slightly larger than tapas, but smaller than the plate size if you order bottomless brunch. We figured we'd stick to the a la carte menu. 2 or 3 items would still be cheaper than bottomless brunch, so there was no point in ordering bottomless brunch. When we recieved our food it was cold. The chicken breasts with the waffles were so small there was really no point in them giving it to us. The plate sizes were very small. I've had tapa style food before. It's been more than what we had on our plates. My chicken and waffles was warm, so I ate it. It tasted good. Both of my friends sent theirs back and even after they got new plates it was still cold. We each tried ordering something else. My friend's eggs were really cold. We even had the waitress touch them. My other friend sent her shrimp and grits back. I never got my plate. At this time we just decided to leave. The manager came by and apologized. He didn't charge us for our food, just the drinks. He encouraged us to order the bottomless brunch next time. Not sure why they insist on pushing the bottomless brunch. If people want to order 2 or 3 plates, they can. Our food shouldn't be cold when it's made to order per the manager. The items offered are the exact same. Our food shouldn't come from the batches made for brunch. I'm sure the food is usually better, just not for us this time around.

Visited for lunch. Plenty of seating in the restaurant with a cozy bar area. Reasonable pricing, $12-$15 per meal. Bread and oil provided when seated. Parking on street or a pay parking garage is located a block away.

Its 11pm and I am still full and we ate around 1 pm! 35 bucks for the bottomless brunch. 25cent mimosas! Such a great deal. The food comes out quickly and the servers are busy but still attentive...

The $35 bottomless brunch is a great deal. The items are served on small plates, which I prefer because I won’t overstuff on one or two items. The orange and grapefruit mimosas for 25 cents is a steal. The grapefruit is really good. Overall all of the dishes were great. The standout ones were the Spicy Lamb Benedict, the Green Eggs & Ham, also the Nutella Waffle & French Toast. It got really loud while I was there, not to the point of needing to shout to who you were sitting with but loud enough for me to be slightly irritated. The servers also regularly bring out the wrong food to tables but it’s really not that big of a deal. I’m not sure if it’s the fault of their PoS system.

I have been here twice. Once for a brunch with the ladies and then with my kids (4 and 6) and husband. Both times were fabulous. However, my experience on Christmas Eve was extra special and I felt the need to give a review. We were the first people in there and I feel like that could have been frustrating to employees that "had" to work on Christmas Eve. However, the host was so kind, taking the time to explain that my youngest could eat free and my 6 year old would only be $10. My husband chatted with him a bit and found out the owners also own Cava Grill in Tyson's Corner which is a favorite of his. Our waitress, Catherine was so kind. She spoke to my kids separately and really tried to give them a happy experience. My youngest was getting over the stomach bug and my oldest started to feel it coming on during the meal. She was great about keeping the food coming and then getting us out fast. Because it was my husband's first time, she started by putting in orders for her favorites, some plain eggs and strawberries for my kids and then came back to see what we liked and ordered more. She was pleasant and carried on conversations with us all while waiting on other tables. My 6 year old explained that my husband was home for 6 days leave and then he had to go back to Germany until July. With a short time and sick kids, we were expecting to hurry up, eat breakfast and continue with our day. I can't explain into words how great the staff treated us, how fantastic the food was; so I will sum it up to say it was a magical day. Thank you!

We were craving Mediterranean food and found Cava Mezze from Google and Yelp reviews. Our favorite part of the meal was the $13 street corn. We also had the chicken souvlaki, which was a little dry. The taziki sauce was nice and creamy, but it had a little too much dill. The spanikopita left much to be desired. It wasn't flaky or seasoned enough, and was quite greasy. This could be from using puff pastry instead of phyllo dough. The white ball accompaniment had no seasoning whatsoever, was bland, and reminded me of Crisco or lard.

Perfect spot for brunch! Also visited the DC location and they were both great. Unlimited tapas and mimosas for $35.00 a person, what an awesome deal for Saturday or Sunday brunch! French toast is a must, skillet cakes, pork belly..haven't had a bad plate yet. Highly recommend!
