Took me a bit to realize this is in the food court at Charles Plaza. Food came out quickly after ordering, maybe 5 minutes. 2 people were waiting for their orders ahead of me and all came out quickly. This seemed like the busiest of the businesses here. I ordered the combination vermicelli. Delicious! One seemed to have a curry spice mixture, maybe the chicken? The noodles can be bland if you don't mix it well with the nuoc cham sauce and hot sauce provided. I didn't taste the nuoc cham alone, but my noodles came out a bit wet and bland in some parts. The cilantro and bean sprouts add a refreshing component, though I understand if you don't like these ingredients, this will not be a highlight for you. plenty of seating around since there wasn't much going on for the other businesses on a Friday around 1pm. no comment on the parking situation since I did not drive nor find parking. overall a delicious, quick, and filling meal, well worth the price. I would definitely get this again if I come by, though I am curious about the summer rolls and pho options.

A true hidden gem. Their chicken vermicelli has a unique curry-like flavor and is incredibly tender and delicious. Also, they give extremely generous portions at an affordable price. Highly recommend!

I walked 10 min past another pho spot right outside my front door to this place and I don't regret it. This is the best chicken pho I've ever had. The meat was awesome, the broth was excellent, the owners were pleasant, the restaurant was clean, my food was hot, the veggies were fresh, and the packaging was perfect.

Summer rolls were superb! Also, great portion size for the price. Inflation has definitely impacted their menu prices though, so I went ahead and included some pics of their updated menu. Hope this helps!

Possibly the best pho I’ve had in America. Packed full of flavor and great portions. The beef meatballs are delicious! Definitely recommend and definitely will be visiting again. For me personally the atmosphere also adds to the experience, some of the best places I’ve eaten have been at “hole in the wall” restaurants. I wouldn’t necessarily consider this a hole, but pretty close.

This pho did not taste like almost any other pho I’ve ever had. Someone else mentioned it to be almost sweet, which I agree with. I think I’ve had tens of thousands of bowls of pho before, this one was just a little different in flavor. Not like other broths I’ve experienced. Nice service.

Incredible flavor. Very accommodating for my dietary restrictions. My new go-to pho place in the city.

We ordered the Combination Pho. Pros: -Large portion of food for a very reasonable price. One order can easily feed two individuals. -So much meat, tendon, and rice noodles! -Cost is extremely reasonable. Compare this to the neighboring pho restaurant, Indochine, you will spend half the amount and get double the food. -Everything tasted fresh, especially the bean sprouts. -The take out containers were an appropriate size to eat your meal without feeling overwhelmed at the odd proportions you get at other take out pho places. Cons: -Although the broth was good and hearty, the underlying sweetness of the broth was a little bothersome for me. -Certain cuts of the meat were tough, likely equating to the quality being low. -Would've loved to see the addition of tripe in the combination meal and vinegar onions. Overall, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Mekong Delta Cafe. We will definitely consider going here again for our random pho cravings.

This is a Vietnamese spot I’ve heard great things about for a long time but I only very recently was able to visit! It’s a bit out of the way and hard to find (it’s in the food court at this location, see my pics) and the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Yet, despite all that, it’s is 5 star based on the food, the price, and the service. If you’re in the area and enjoy Vietnamese I can’t recommend it enough. It’s also going to be my new go to spot for whenever I have jury duty as it’s walking distance from the courthouse. The only thing I will say is that for any Bahn Mi lovers, it’s not on the menu.

It was a very windy and cold day, perfect for Pho. Searched Google for something close and found this place. Reviews were good so worth a try. Anyone unfamiliar with the area may find it a little tricky to find. Anyone familiar with the area, well…. If you know you know. It’s in the food court off of Charles Street in downtown Baltimore so it’s open to anyone who wants to stroll through. Employees were super friendly and inviting. The prices were fantastic. Anyone who eats Pho regularly knows some bowls are upwards of $16.00. The bowls were large and so were the portions for $11.00. The Pho was fresh, hot, and delicious. Had a very unique and distinct flavor compared to other places I’ve tried. The lemon grass beef wraps were huge and also reasonably priced. Overall an excellent lunch.

Meatball & Beef Pho and the Lemongrass Beef both tasted great with generous portions at a very reasonable price. Some people have been commenting that the pho broth is sweet, and I agree it is on the sweeter side, but the richness of the broth makes it very enjoyable still. The lemongrass beef wasn’t what I was imagining. It was more like a Chinese takeout beef stir fry situation, but again still enjoyable. Also, the man at the counter was nice and the food came out quick so I really have nothing to complain about. It’s a bit of a drive for me but I’ll be back when the craving hits!

Found this place just strolling and decided to go for it! Had the rare brisket pho and it did not disappoint. The flavor of the broth was delicious and will definitely visit again.

This is some amazing Vietnamese food! The spring rolls are huge and delicious and the pork and vermicelli dish was amazing. The food court is depressing but don’t let that discourage you, this food is top notch and Zagat rated! I highly recommend it!

I have been coming here for about six years and it is the best pho I have ever had, hands down. I eat A LOT of pho, I think I’ve tried about a dozen different pho restaurants in the Baltimore metro area in the last ten years, and this place easily surpasses them. The owners are super friendly and I have never had a single meal that was less than stellar. The summer rolls are great, and the lemongrass tofu is so flavorful. If you are downtown and in need of a tasty very filling meal, please go to Mekong!

The pandemic changed a lot of things, but Mekong Delta is consistently the BEST PHO I have ever had in my life. I used to work up the street and go for pho at least once a week pre-Covid. I now work from home, so I don’t get to enjoy it as often- but it makes my 1.5 hour commute once a month totally worth it. I find myself looking forward to in office days because I know I’ll get my pho! The family that owns/runs it is so friendly and hardworking! My personal favorite is H4- so full of flavor!!! and I always ask for noodles on the side and a to-go soup container because the portions are so big, I can never finish it in one sitting! Such a great value!!!

Some of the best curry I've had. Love how the tofu was prepared and the rice and broth was just perfect. Pho and rolls were excellent, too. Appreciate that their iced coffee isn't as sweet as many other places. Adding Mekong into the rotation.

Let me start by saying I rarely review food places, but the food here was so good that I felt compelled to share. I previously thought that I didn’t like Pho, because of the many times I have tried it in the past I have been very underwhelmed and disappointed. This however was not the case at Mekong Delta Cafe. The portion sizes are VERY generous, the prices are reasonable and the food is absolutely excellent. I had the Pho Ga, and my partner had the Hu Tieu Tom, both of which had extremely flavorful broths and some of the freshest ingredients I have seen from any carry out restaurant. As other reviews have mentioned, both broths (beef & chicken) do have a slight sweetness to them, but it is done in a way that complements the soup and it is not overpowering whatsoever. The Grilled Tofu & Vegetable rolls are massive and very fresh. Paired with a delicious peanut sauce they make for a very fresh & enjoyable appetizer. If youre on the fence, give this place a shot. It completely changed the way I feel about Pho and other Vietnamese noodle soups for the better and I will definitely be back again very soon.

I've heard great things about the food! Wish I could've actually tried it but they were not open when I went this past Sunday (1/15). They had written a sign on the door with what I can only assume were their most current hours (since it was hand written and taped to the door) but despite being there during their open hours they were most definitely not open. The photo below was taken at 3pm, 5 hours before they were supposed to close.

My husband and I have been visiting this amazing Vietnamese spot located in a food court for more than 6 months now, and we can't get enough of it! The food is absolutely delicious and definitely beats most of the restaurants we've tried in Baltimore. The boss is extremely friendly, kind, and generous, always giving us plenty of food. Not only is the food delicious, but it's also underpriced for the quality and quantity you get. We hope that one day they will open their own restaurant so that even more people can experience their incredible food. It's such a hidden gem that I often forget to take pictures of the dishes before devouring them! Overall, this is a great spot for anyone visiting Baltimore or living in the area.

Amazing experience. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I had the chicken pho in beef broth. The portion size was big, chicken was very tender and juicy even though it’s chicken breast, and everything tasted so good and the entire food court smelled amazing form this place. I saw a review that mentioned a bit of sweetness in the broth, and that’s actually true with the beef broth I got, still delicious. Also, they have a variety of options for vegetarians and vegans.

Great! We eat here all the time - the pho and the pork/beef on rice is really flavorful and good. Recommend

I really had high hopes for this place after all the rave reviews, but my fried rice was burnt. No veggies mixed in and I tasted not a hint of garlic. Also missing the tomatoes it was supposed to come with. Prices are ~$2 higher than shown on Google. The cashier was friendly though. I'd be willing to give it another try someday.

Excellent food! There was a lot of meat in the pho noodle and the flavor of the soup was aromatic.

Hands down my favorite pho spot. The broth is consistently flavorful and the meat is tender. I never use the hoisin and sriracha because it’s not necessary. Just squeeze in a little lime juice and dig in. I haven’t explored the menu so I can only speak for the chicken pho, pork pho, and the rolls (his peanut sauce is fire).

Yum! So good. And fresh. It is a big serving but absolutely worth finishing. I got the rare beef Pho which is this is number R2.

Love this place! Summer rolls are huge, a meal in themselves. I prefer the chicken pho, it has a ton of garlic (the beef is smokier than I like). Always a huge portion for a great price.
