I use to eat here several times a week (Carne Asada with eggs is my favorite) before I moved out of town. Of course I always come back because I love this place, the food, the service, all the waiters/workers, the whole atmosphere is welcoming and Authentic. I also love their bakery, it has a hot bar great for breakfast and lunch with a huge selection of freshly baked goods.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! One of the best most authentic meals I have ever had. Horchata and tamarindo to drink are delicious and not too sweet. We left almost nothing behind! Totally satisfied. Would recommend this place to you for sure. And I will be returning with my family! Thank you El Salvador

AMAZING food! The prices are unbeatable, food is mouth-watering and authentic, wait staff are kind and quick. Beer and wine are super affordable. I grew up in Latin America and this whole establishment gives me very nostalgic vibes. 10/10 recommend!

Mariscada for entree and guacamole as an appetizer, the best combination you can get. If you order the mariscada ask for it to be made with coconut milk and order a fried fish on the side with extra lime on the side and you will taste heaven 🔥 Highly recommended

The food is delicious every time and I often try something different. The gentleman that greets me each time is so sweet. I should dine in next time. (Image: Mixed Fajitas and Flan Napolitano) Yummmmm

Delicious pupusa place. Was hungry and in the area and decided to stop by. I walked in, not placing an order on the phone since I was so close. They had my pupusas out, hot and fresh, in about 10mins. They were very tasty and seasoned well. The horchata was delicious. Price was reasonable and thru had a large menu. I would recommend and would return.

My friend that lives in Baltimore recommended this place as it was a short walk from her house and I have to say it is AMAZING. The meal was definitely cheap for the amount of food you get and the mango milkshake was delicious. I got the #1 plate and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was seasoned well and juicy. Everything was perfect and I would definitely come back if I am in Baltimore again.

We had stopped in here on our walk back to Fells Point from Ministry of Brewing to grab a bite to eat. It was rather late for dinner (by our normal standards) but this place was busy! We were greeted and seated promptly by a super-nice and friendly elderly gentleman. Our server delivered us complimentary chips and salsa. I got a mojito and the DW ordered their house sangria. Took a while to get them, but they were on point. We weren't super hungry but knew we needed to eat before going to go drink some more. :) We ordered a couple of different tamales (pollo and elote) and a couple pupusas. Everything was delish! The gentleman that greeted us came back a few times to check on us. He was lovely to talk to. We'll definitely be back someday to try out the rest of their menu!

Surprisingly good Salvadoran restaurant in the heart of Baltimore. We were visiting a family member at Hopkins and were grateful to be able to have lunch at this spot. Everything we ordered was good and the server accommodated me not eating dairy.

Not wheelchair accessible but you could use a portable ramp and do okay, so long as you don't need the bathroom. This place is always delicious. The salsa is so good I often ask them to sell me some because it's made fresh on site. The food is fresh and hot, the drinks are strong but balanced, staff are lovely and bilingual. Prices seem a bit high but they're similar to other places in the area. Enjoy!

What a disappointment being a so called authentic el salvadorian restaurant. I tried to give this place a shot mtiple times but everytime was just horrible! Not only were the people there looking and treating you like you dont belong there or whem you order your food that comes out to over $140.00 to go you get to find out that it never arrived and they never want to admit that they messed up. Which the last time i went there i had to open my bag of food and found out that yet again there missing items there and the result reaction was of annoyance from the server like it was my fault. Definitely not going there nor advice anyone to go there.

I had never tried pupusas until today. These things are amazing. I ordered the number one and loved it. There is a good amount of food that comes with the order and everything is delicious.

El Salvador must have a seafood culture similar to Maryland. Locals getting food from the water and making magic with it. Aside from the regular dishes associated with food from Latina countries (tacos, burritos, etc.) El Salvador Restaurant has great seafood. When I see the piping hot plates and bowels headed to tables of families and groups of people in the Know (aka-Latina People) it is very clear the seafood is a big hit. I cant stop ordering the Rockfish. The fish is served whole, fried to crispy perfection without sacrificing the tender juicy meat. The only condiment I use is a little lime juice. I would also recommend the margarita. The recipe must call for a splash of condensed milk, or coconut milk because there is something different about this common drink that nobody else is doing. The service is outstanding considering how welcome you are made to feel even with a sizable language gap (Smiles speak volumes). I am always happy that I came here.
