It was absolutely wonderful, me and my friend loved the food and the warm cozy atmosphere. We started off with the bread and the dipping oil had just the right amount of kick and flavor and the texture of the bread was incredible, I had the carbonara and it was incredibly creamy and had just the right amount of saltiness. The service was incredible too, would 100% recommend for a filling, warm dinner.

Grano Pasta Bar offers a wide variety of pasta at a reasonable price. The taste was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly.

Really great food. One of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had (the eggplant one), and the appetizers were more than solid as well. Outdoor seating could have been a little more comfortable, as it was on a hill with limited space for a party of 5, but I’m going to remember the food a whole lot longer.

The taste of my childhood in southern France/Italy. Easily the best pasta I've had in Baltimore - the ravioli was excellent and the Bolognese was exactly what I had growing up. Spices, thin-ness of meat, texture of cooked pasta were all extremely close to my childhood experience. I came for pasta and left with a full stomach and beautiful nostalgic memories. If you are looking for authentic pasta tastes, this is it. The restaurant has wines or is BYOB with a surcharge so feel free to pair it up with the best wines or drinks you love. Great job to the chefs and highly recommended to all. 👌

Excellent meals are had here. You can tell the noodles are hand made. Fantastic sauces and a grand selection.

It was $23 for 4 truffle-mushroom raviolis. I could not taste truffle at all and the portions were not big enough to justify that price. My friend had uncooked clams in her dish. It’s disappointing that the quality of restaurant dishes have taken a dive in quantity AND quality in the face of inflation.

This is one of my favorite local spots. I applaud the consistency and the really friendly staff. I personally enjoy ordering off the "secret menu." My favorites are Vodka Picante and Verde Blue. Both are combinations of their sauces. Don't forget to bring an alcohol, it is BYOB after all!

Love love love their pasta! 🍝 You would think you should go to Little Italy to try the best pasta in Baltimore but no, you must come to Grano’s pasta bar on Hampden street. We tried 1) Linguine Positano (perfect balance of garlic and butter, generous with clams), 2) Pappardelle Frutti Di Mare (well seasoned, generous with clams, mussels, jumbo shrimps and squids), 3) Butter pasta and Meat balls for kids (kids finished their plate and that’s all that matter to me 👍). We were appreciative of our server who was very friendly, attentive servers. Highly recommend for quality food, friendly server, nice location. It is very much of a representation of a restaurant in Hampden.

Carbonara was nasty, gritty, scrambled and pretty darn inedible. Was not cooked properly. It's an elementary mistake and absolutely not worth the price. The Saltimbocca was merely ok. I do not recommend these dishes at all - I recommend quality checking before items are sent out. Ask yourself, "would I eat this?"

Granos is a popular option for Hopkins students and their trips out to Hampden. I'm not going to lie guys, I don't get it. Unless you're looking for something formal, there are many other places on the main street that will get you more food, that's more flavorful, for less $. Don't get me wrong, this was an awesome dinner, and the service was very friendly. I just felt that I paid quite a bit of money for a pasta dish that wasn't super fulfilling. Usually, the trade off is between quantity and quality, but the quality was just good -- not great or amazing. I love the vibes here too, but I think I'll reserve this spot for more formal dinners. 7

My girlfriend and I love coming here for a nice dinner. We usually sit in the downstairs area and get an order of bread and a mediterranean salad to split. We then each choose an entree and it ends up being the perfect amount of food. I also enjoy that you can bring your own bottle of wine and just hang out outside during the spring/fall weather.

Honestly for take out pasta like it’s just not worth the price…. Paid 22$ for ravioli and it’s literally 4-5 individual raviolis….. it’s GOOD don’t get me wrong but it’s not that good. Same with the pasta carbonara. Nothings wrong with it it’s just so damn expensive considering there’s like no actual atmosphere or seating or anything like u just pick it up to go. No hate to the staff or anything they’re all so nice but it’s just too expensive for what it is imo. But it is good!!!

Went on a Monday ~8pm. It took 45 minutes from when we ordered to when the food came out. $22 for 4 ravioli and $14 for unsalted fusili. At the tail end of eating someone asked if we, with 3 pieces of pasta between us, needed parmesan... Overall food was too expensive for what it was and service too slow, but nothing disastrous happened.

Delicious, al dente, housemade pasta in a charming neighborhood. We had the Spaghetti Puttanesca, Spaghetti Carbonara, Bruschetta with olive tapenade, meatballs, and cannoli. Everything was wonderful. Very friendly service; modest wine variety, but it's all decent stuff. And their outdoor seating - some tables under umbrellas and others under a sort of pergola, offer a nice quiet atmosphere with string lights for ambiance.

Enjoyed the pasta a lot. Not the best place for young kids and strollers. Difficult to get in and out of. Service wasn't great that night. Forgot an order of appetizers and slow at times. They weren't even that busy but we were tucked aside because of the stroller and kids so maybe a bit forgotten. Vodka sauce was tasty. The eggplant lasagna was good. Bread with garlic olive oil was nice and garlicky.

This place has been amazing for years, now they’ve expanded into the basement with a much larger dining room.

Incredible Italian food. The staff was very friendly. We ordered the vodka pasta and the eggplant lasagna. Both were so good we essentially inhaled it all. The vodka was so fresh and simple compared to the usual dense creamy versions that are more common. Eggplant Melanzane was 10/10. Eat here.

For the associated shop a bit down the hill: Charming staff and great finds. Got some salami, limoncello, (awesome) empanadas for dinner.
