This place has been on my list for years and I don’t know why it took me so long to go. The atmosphere and decor were cool, and the views were amazing (there was a beautiful sunset) and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the bread basket (came with 5 breads and 2 butter) and the tuna appetizer. I will definitely be back!

The place is my new favorite. We stopped for the view and drinks which are amazing, pleasant atmosphere and design, service is great and the food… omg, the food is the best - best dessert (passion fruit) I ever had, the best mushroom soup I ever had and the best chill sea bass I ever had… they make their own ricotta cheese (appetizer on the picture). Highly recommend.

Amazing views, incredible food, great service. Chef Alexis knocks it out of the park with each course. So many delicious flavor combinations. Tasty cocktails sipped overlooking Mt Vernon in a great atmosphere. Great attention to details down to the copper flatware. Just go see for yourself.

This place came highly suggested from several friends that are local. The bar itself is gorgeous and the cocktails are an absolute must. Definitely take advantage of the sunset for dinner and stay long enough for the night views. I hate being that person to say that everything food wise was good but this place was absolutely on point with food.

10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a nice night out. The beautiful view is highlighted and accessible from lots of tables and isn’t restricted to a lucky select few. Plan ahead for larger parties for a Fri/Sat night, but 2 could grab seats at the bar pretty easily. Seafood focused menu it seemed, but great options for all. Ricotta starter was worth the trip alone!

I’ve been wanting to visit this place for a while and I was NOT disappointed. Their portion sizes were a bit small which kind of shocked me but the food was delicious for what was served. Their cocktails are marvelous. Please make sure you order their “Figgy with it” or “Sunshine daydream”. The view overlooks Baltimore so it is indeed dinner with a view. You won’t be disappointed if you visit.

Amazing upscale rooftop restaurant in Mount Vernon overlooking gorgeous Washington monument square. The food especially the duck was delicious. The menu is compact but each dish seems to be well made with good portions. The waiter was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was unmatched with the window seat views and candlelight ambiance. There is also a decently extensive wine menu and great dessert particularly the sorbets to boot. Perfect for a fancy date night

Top of Mount Vernon! Good food with spectacular views! We were there for Christmas dinner and our waitress was super! From her cheery attitude and attentiveness went above and beyond!

There’s only one elevator to the 15th floor so getting up and down from there can take forever. Love the seasonal cocktail menus. The sangria is always a great choice. Drinks are refreshing and I even like whiskey drinks when I order them from here. I’ve never been so pleasantly surprised at the dessert option for people who can’t have dairy. I’m very used to being handed a sad dry cookie/pastry, but Topside brought me the most amazing mango sorbet I’ve ever had! It did make the waiter very sad when I asked for everything without dairy due to intolerance so I’d appreciate not being told removing the feta compromises the dish when I literally cannot eat feta. It doesn’t help. Otherwise, the food was great! We were super happy to go here for restaurant week after two years of saying we needed to go to Topside for food sometime.

Topside was a lovely experience that I plan to do again. The views are spectacular. The service was excellent and the food is delicious. I was a little taken back by the old fashion on draft but it turned out to be a wonderful cocktail. My seafood rice was seasoned well and full of flavor. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes.

Great views and great food. The sauces were by far my favorite and went well with each of the dishes they came with. They all had a perfect natural flavor. The ricotta and tuna tataki were my favorite and the seafood rice was also very good. All were tastes so unique that youre unlikely to taste them anywhere else.

With a perfect view of the Mount washington monument, topside is one of the best places to be for sunset in Baltimore. The food itself is pretty good, as are the drinks. There are limited food options, though. The service is brilliant. Be sure to reserve ahead!

The views at sunset here are great. The ambiance and overall atmosphere is fantastic. It's a good place to hang out, maybe get some drinks. The food was decent, The cauliflower was good and the Crudo was really good. The yellow balloon mocktail was fantastic and our bartender was great. Make sure you try and get a reservation because it's really hard to get seated here without one.

Southern American style cuisine . A treat before the winter storm, one of the best restaurants in the area, all the food is very good. Not just any good, but "oh my god" level of good, especially the dessert Napoleon, a must try. Tomorrow, we have to leave in the early morning, miserable wind and rain, all the way to the north. According to the weather bureau, this storm is "a once in a generation event". Well, I hope to arrive safely in New York tomorrow. – 在 Hotel Revival Baltimore

This is our favorite spot when we come to visit our kid at MICA. The cocktails are incredible, the design of the space is very cool, and the view of Baltimore is even better. The ricotta appetizer is heaven - a great balance of sweet, salty and so creamy. The scallop squid ink pasta is also delicious. Sit at the bar and get the Figgy With It cocktail at sunset - you will not regret it!!!

We went to the front entrance of the Revival Hotel and were able to park for free on the street on a Saturday evening. Went inside, down a few steps and took the elevator to the 15th floor. Very nice tiling, ceilings, lights - atmosphere and decor are cute. We got the Tuna Taking - excellent! My husband got the duck and I got the prime rib for main dishes. Both were delicious but honestly the duck was the clear winner of the two! Cooked really well and the sear was perfect. We got the Nutella Napoleon for dessert and if you love Nutella, you'll enjoy it! Beautiful view of the city and the Washington monument. Our server was prompt and super helpful - he answered all of my questions (even silly ones). Compliments to the chef and team on the delicious food and lovely presentation! Would certainly come again!

Celebrated our anniversary weekend and had dinner there for the first time and we can't wait to go back. Our server Jada was so sweet and attentive. The food was delicious. The drinks were amazing and the view is intoxicating

A great place for a sunset dinner out when you want a stunning view of Baltimore. Food was delicious, beautiful, and moderately portioned and the non-alcoholic drinks were tasty.

Chloe the server was great but the chicken absolutely tasteless but the octopus was delicious. They offered me a free dessert I did get it but I didn’t eat it. The only thing really on point was the view.

Went to go celebrate our 9-year anniversary at topside, with drinks and a dessert. We didn't make a reservation but went based off of algorithms that said that the time we were going- 9:30 at night - would be a good time to go and least busy. Popped my head in to see if there were seats available at the bar or if we needed to stop and talk to the host, she rudely asked me "can she help me". I politely asked her if the bar is seat yourself -most bars are, again no sign stating otherwise, also no greeting upon arrival- she replied rudely "no" and didn't follow up with anything. She walked over to a party of four who were there when we arrived and quietly said 'I'm going to get you guys seated". There was a couple taking up a sectional that was clearly meant for more than just two people. The host came back and told us that they wouldn't have seating for anybody else the rest of the night, even though we saw empty tables. I asked her if they closed at 11:00 she said no 10:00. We were confused because we had looked it up and the hours clearly stated 11. She asked us if we would like to make a reservation for the next day even though we clearly were dressed above casual. We left and talked to staff on the first floor, and they confirmed that the restaurant closed at 11:00. So I called the restaurant and the host/manager politely answered the phone and confirmed that they did indeed close at 11:00 if we wanted to come in. So not only is she a liar she is also psychic and could tell that there would be no available seating for almost 2 hours just for us. Spend your money somewhere else.

Great food, drinks, and views. Reservation is recommended but bar is likely to accommodate a couple. I had duck breast and potato leak soup, very tasty! They also have their logo in the ice cubes. Update: avoid the steak, it’s cooked from frozen and not particularly flavorful. The Ricotta and sunset views are nice though.

Overall: 5/10 Moments of refined atmosphere and cuisine clouded by lackluster service and overall experience. I would recommend checking this place out 1 time because it’s cool- but would not suggest making it a staple. I have been to Topside a handful of times. My experience has been fairly good, but on NYE, it was hands down one of the most frustrating experiences I have had. There seemed to be a disconnect between the restaurant the staff and the patrons. The NYE menu was all prefixe. Meaning there were select options and dedicated courses. They failed to mention reserving tables for NYE dinner meant you should stick around after dinner for the ball drop which was not our plan, so sitting and waiting on a few dishes for OVER 3 hours was beyond us. The Food: 4/10 Underwhelming. The first course was a soup or a salad. This course took so long to come out that we eventually started to keep track of it on our phones as a laughable game within our table. It was 1 hour and 10 minutes for the first course to come out to us….for soups and salads….The soup was okay the salad was pretty good. The second course followed the first’s trajectory. Slow to come out but this one was tasty. The ribeye was to die for. Approximately 1 hour 40 mins after we sat down (30 mins after the first course) The third course/ mains were disappointing. First off they informed us that the lamb cannot be cooked longer than medium rare due to the prefix menu- weird but ok. Same timing issue. Here come the mains, over 2.5 hours after sitting down. Boring, bland, and dry but beautifully plated (the only thing not making it a 2/10). The desserts weren't even asked about so to avoid another hour of waiting we asked those to be packed up so we could leave and make it to our next plans. At this point, we were already late. The ambiance: 8.5/10 It’s nice. You have a view over a historic part of Baltimore, on the top floor of the Revival Hotel. It’s all gold and wood and ceramic. It’s a great vibe for sure. Feels like you time-traveled back to the roaring 20s for dinner. The drinks: 7/10 Good but pricey. For NYE the selection was limited, nothing fantastic or worth noting. Typically, on a normal night, the drinks here are above average. The Service: 3/10 Prefixe menu- a waiter's dream. She was nice but didn't come around much. 2 of the members of our party got up to grab glasses of wine from the bar because the waiter just never came back. She avoided asking us much of anything. She did bring over water at the end once she could feel our eagerness to leave. Then it all made sense- BOOM! 20% auto gratuity….ahhh I would not take care of us either. Why take care of us at all when the $1,000 tab will include that right? It would’ve probably been higher if we were given more attention though! We were happy to spend, we just wish the service reflected the price. We were all wait staff at one point.
