I haven't been back here in quite some time, so it was cool bringing a Newby along with me. We enjoyed the breakfast offerings and the visual cornucopia of art. Less 1 star because the grits tasted like rice. Chris was an excellent server.

This is a fun brunch/breakfast spot to bring friends visiting the city. It's VERY busy on weekends or on nice weather days. The dining areas are large but compact due to the set up of the restaurant. The menu is HUGE with lots of options, and at least a few things for vegetarians and vegans. We got the turkey powerhouse sandwich, veggie omelette with sourdough toast, and steak and eggs omelette. All were cooked well! It's what you'd expect from diner food. Though the staff was incredibly busy, our food was brought out at a reasonable time and the server kept our coffees and waters topped off. I was surprised to see milkshakes on the menu-- and overheard that lots of people love them and the kitchen was a little backed up on service due to the high demand. Totally understandable cause I eyed other tables that had them with envy, haha. Overall a really fun spot with lots of interesting decor to chat about, and great vibes while you're with friends. Can be a little loud and/or overstimulating depending on how busy it is.

Awesome nostalgia overload! This dinner is so bright, so much fun. I spent so much time browsing the different toys and knickknacks. The staff was great, super attentive and quick. Menu has a little of everything and it all looked crazy good. I will definitely be back.

Love this place for breakfast and to bring out of town guests. Service is fast, room is tight. Decor speaks for itself. Last visit I had the three egg breakfast which came with breakfast potatoes and one single slice of bread for toast. I've never seen a place serve, only a single piece of bread for toast. Especially having three eggs I should have had more toast. I had a side of their pork sausage and it was good but I didn't like that it had a hint of syrup. My vegetarian wife had the tofu burrito. What you like except it was pretty spicy.

Great food!! It is a very cute place with great breakfast food. No wait for a table. Now, I will admit I am a picky eater so the menu seemed a little short for me, but that's just me. Also the space seemed to be a little bit cramped but it wasn't too bad. Our waiter was great and our food came out pretty quickly. I had the shrimp omelette and it was absolutely deliciousss. The shrimp were huge and the potatoes were well seasoned. The french toast was also really good. We enjoyed our time here and we will be returning.

This is one of the most amazing diners I have ever been to! The staff was wonderful, and food was great, but of course it was the atmosphere that really put it over the edge!! It’s such a creative and fun place to eat! We will definitely be back next time we are in town 🍳

The flavors of the food are good and unusual. A bit overpriced but well worth it. The staff are very attentive and pleasant. The decor is rather busy but cool and a bit nostalgic. I love the lego collection at the bar seating!

I love this spot for the ambience alone, opened in 1994 this small place packs a lot of punch. Outdoor seating is beautiful and covered with a nice breeze. I wasn't a fan of the "crispy" chicken wrap but I loved looking around. Only one server waiting all the tables but he was great. Looking to come back and try something new off the menu

Eclectic doesn't begin to describe this place. Had to wait almost an hour at noon on a Sunday... Not unexpected because we were a group of 9. Once seated the service was really good, the staff pleasant and the menu extensive. I had blueberry French toast over a vanilla custard, it was wonderful. Not overly sweet, not too much syrup not overloaded with blueberries.... Just right and a good size portion. Two at the table had eggs Benedict, both loved them. Cooked well and served with really good home fries. The last entree at our table was eggs over easy on a brioche roll with sausage gravy, which he really enjoyed. We were seated as two groups so I can't speak about other entrees but everyone seem to have enjoyed their food. If you're around 29th street in Baltimore give the dinner a try.

Absolutely delicious breakfast quesadilla, getting it with chicken, added to the bacon that comes with it is surprisingly good. My son had the pigs in a blanket (sausage in a pancake with powdered sugar) also delish. Attentive service, everyone was so friendly. Really great kitschy decor!

Easily one of my top 3 eateries! Had the steak omelet with mushrooms, onions, and havarti cheese. It came stuffed! Filled me up. The rye was toasted expertly, crunchy but not dry. And the breakfast potatoes... Just like mama and daddy used to make. The atmosphere is homely; relaxed and fun. Tons of little retro and old school knickknacks everywhere that takes you back to simpler times when what toons were playing on Saturday was the only concern, and who you invited for game night was the only planning Will absolutely return, no doubt! Got my eye on that bacon milkshake 😋

The uptown omelette was bigger than I expected and really good. They were able to sub the toast with the omelette for a pancake which was nice of them. The decor is so fun and intriguing. Kind of small inside but not super cramped. Service was quick and personable. Good prices. Ample parking. Worth a visit.

Kitsch & delicious! The decorations are so wonderful (even the bathroom!) and the food was very good too. Loved the crab cake sandwich and the meatloaf sandwich as well! Milkshake took a while but it was SO worth it. There’s a small parking lot up front with some handicapped spaces and a larger lot across the street for general parking.

The atmosphere was next level amazing!!! So much to see and take in and every bit of it extraordinary!!! Downside is it's small so there's a wait but it was a little disappointing to see quite a few empty tables when we were finally able to make it inside. Maybe they were shortstaffed and had to stagger tables. Food was interesting. I wasn't a big fan of my Morning Glory but everyone else liked theirs well enough.

Wonderfully quirky decor. We had breakfast at Paper Moon. Options for everyone on the menu. We were a party of four and all left feeling happy with our meals. The staff is friendly. Apparently is is a good place to work from in the mornings. Several people eating and tapping away on laptops. The entire experience was exactly what we were looking for: good food, a memorable outing at a place where we could have sit comfortably and have a nice conversation.

This is where you go after waking up late on a Saturday morning I was taken here by friends craving Papermoon's peanut butter milkshakes which I heard were famous. We waited for about 30 minutes and the milkshakes did not disappoint whatsoever. I think it was one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. I got to taste the chocolate and vanilla flavor, and I would personally go for the vanilla one. You can definitely taste the PB more. We also got the Vanilla Custard French Toast, which I shared with another person. Everything was absolutely delicious. Just beware of peak hours and the spending minimum. You won't be able to get just a milkshake; you'll have to get other items too.

You could spend days just checking out all the fun items both inside and out. Overwhelming, but it works. It helps that the food is fantastic! We went for breakfast and enjoy every bite of my French toast on vanilla custard! If you live nearby and have friends come to town, take them here for a truly unique experience!

I was immediately drawn by the quirky nature just from the outside look, and the inside decor was even more overwhelming at first! But it was a cool place to check out. I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich, and it was served hot after a couple of minutes. Savory ham with sweet syrup, a very interesting treat for the morning!

A wacky wonderful restaurant. Full of "junk" made into quirky and cool grassroots style art/atmosphere. Food was unexpectedly awesome. They are busy! Especially on Saturday mornings. Expect to wait a long time and to not have frequent visits from servers. Which I don't mind, it's worth it. Also, I ordered a side of sausage and I've never had better! I also had the cream stuffed French toast and a crab melt. All great!
