I can’t in good conscious go higher than 2 stars as it would seem to me any success this restaurant has is more related to novelty and location than anything else. The location is great and the space itself has potential, but it is in desperate need of a renovation. I won’t go so far as to say it is dirty, but it doesn’t have a clean feel to it. The bathroom needs a renovation even more and frankly was dirty. We actually had a reservation and despite asking for our name multiple times the host apparently never marked us as being there as it is the only time I have ever received notification from open table that I didn’t honor a reservation. Despite nearly every table being open, we were seated on a very hot day at one table that was totally in the sun despite many other options. The AC seemed to be barely work. The host gave us one menu for two adults and two kids and no kids menu despite the fact we asked for it. Our server then told us they had no printed kids menus but he could tell us the options. I will say the server tried very hard to make it a good experience which we appreciated. He did a good enough job. The food was fine but nothing special and not really worth the money especially with many other options. I was excited to try this restaurant but it ended up being a huge disappointment and I would not go back.

Great food, ambience, location, and service! Our server Mercedes was the nicest, most helpful ever. She patiently walked us through the entire menu and was generous with her personal recommendations. The food was served within a reasonable amount of time. Prices are mid-range. If you're a fan of the award-winning film Forrest Gump, check out the restaurant wall for photos of memorable scenes from the movie.

The floors were visibly dirty, and had a stickiness to it with every step. Very unsettling. And not well cleaned.. The food was pretty mediocre, only thing worth coming here for is the shrimp, yet even that had some sketchy quality. Our food took about 45+ minutes to arrive even with barely anyone in the establishment. My sister, who ordered a medium-well burger, received it burnt. I ordered strawberry lemonade and a crabcake burger, the lemonade had way too much flavored syrup and the taste was very strong, only way to make it drinkable dispelling the excessive flavor with our water. The crabcake? It was just off.. not much more to say about it, it just tasted off. Though, our waitress was quite nice and treated us very well.

Visited here on an awful day it turns out due to the fact that it was pouring down raining outside and as it happened inside too thanks to all of the holes in the roof. It felt like we were pointing out a new leak in the roof every five minutes to the waitress. The meal started by us ordering our drinks which came promptly and then our appetizer which was crab dip and was very runny and did not come with enough bread to dip into it. Next came my shrimp shack mac and cheese and my wife and daughters crab soup. My shrimp shack mac and cheese was very runny as well, had no flavor and was filled with shells. I went to get the "old bay" off of the counter where the drinks were and put some on my mac and cheese but I'm not sure that it was even old bay anyway, trust me I'm from Maryland I know what old bay is and what it's suppose to taste like. The "Maryland crab soup" was in a huge bowl and according to my wife and daughter just way to much to eat and not that good either. My daughter and her ate most of it but said they were just hungry. I tried it and once again I'm not sure what kind of seasoning was in it but once again it was not old bay because Maryland crab soup has old bay in it. My son ordered the fried shrimp and enjoyed them but lets be honest how can you screw up fried shrimp and I had the shrimp Po Boy or some fried shrimp with some mayonnaise, lettuce and half rotten tomatoes between two pieces of bread. If this is what poor people eat I hope I'm never poor enough to find out. My wife and daughter also ordered the shrimp and vegetable skewers which came to the table well after the rest of our meal. Also I'm not sure if they messed the order up completely anyway due to the menu not mentioning much about how spicy they were and also the fact that there is a spicy Cajun shrimp on the menu as well. These things were so spicy I almost couldn't stand them and I was burping them up hours later. The only 2 saving graces for this meal were that they took the skewer's off the bill and that the waitress did her job. Thanks for the experience Bubba Gump but I don't think we will be back any time soon nor will I recommend you for at the very least your food.

With everywhere having a wait, we got on the waitlist. Was told it would be a 45 minute wait. About 10 minutes later we had a table. The host was very pleasant. The waitress Khalin was even better. The food, service, and drinks were good. A little disappointed because we had looked at the menu online and it was a limited menu. The service made up for it though.

Visited this place while staying in the inner harbor for my birthday. The staff was super friendly. There was not a wait to be seated. The meals were amazing and the dessert was even more delectable and I was so sad I couldn't finish because I was full! They even came and sung me happy birthday and gave me a cupcake :-) I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Maryland! Thank you all

Bubba Gump is a cool theme, but the energy was really low for a Friday night. The food was alright, the portions were definitely a little smaller as expected from a semi-chain restaurant. Overall, the experience was okay. Would hope to see some more energy if I go again.

As soon as we walked in, you could tell they were having staffing issues...just like every other eatery. Limited menu..food was good. The person seating guests was also our waiter. She was super friendly and on top everything.

The food was good. However the service is not so good. Very bad service. 2 people at the counter on their phone, after so long another employee came and helped me place order in. Prices are very high but the portion of food is not so much.

The food was ok, thre service was good. We had the shrimpers net catch, shrimp macaroni & cheese and Pear & Strawberry salad. The salad was good, but it didn't have even 1 piece of pear on it and hardly any of the nuts. That was disappointing, but overall the salad was good and refreshing for a hot day! The marconi and cheese is quite filling on its own. The drinks including non-alcoholic ones were more pricey than what were wanted, so didn't try any of those. Overall the prices seemed similar to Philips Seafood that is also in the inner harbor area.

Nnnnnooooo! I will not return to this location. The only reason I’m giving them a 2 is because Kwamaye was so kind and kept trying to come over and make it. I’ve been to other Bubba Gumps in Jupiter, Daytona and Orlando and service was always fast and friendly but not here! I was warmly greeted by Kwamaye then decided to sit in bar. Sat there for like 15 minutes and not even a greeting so I went back to him to ask to be seated because I didn’t get service and he apologized and immediately sat me. But then I sat there for another 15 minutes and no service. The young lady that served me seemed frazzled and I had to keep looking for her for everything I wanted! I was super annoyed the entire time I was there. The manager came by and I told her my frustrations and she was basically like oh well I’m missing two servers. Well that’s not my darn fault! She didn’t offer a drink, appetizer or desert to try to appease me... she just walked away. Where the location is in the inner harbor is beautiful. Restaurant is clean. My food once I finally received it was good and presented well. Follow me on ig @sweet_maloy. Bottom line is I would definitely NOT return. #askSweet

Food was good (3 stars) and service was a (4 stars). Menu was consolidated sadly and they were short on staff but that is unfortunately a product of the market that we're in.
