I love reading the reviews saying this is the worst Chinese someone has ever had. First off, you're an idiot if you don't realize that this is as authentic as you can get. Secondly, that food you eat is definitely not Chinese. That said, the atmosphere isn't great. The service was fine but nothing spectacular. But honestly the food made up for all of that. I'm definitely going back again.

Zhongshan restaurant was fantastic. There are many fast food Chinese places to eat where you can get your regular panda-express order, but finding anything resembling authentic Chinese food can have you driving our of Baltimore and up to Silver Spring to Oriental East. I was incredibly excited to try any Dim Sum option in baltimore- and this one did not disappoint. Their dumplings, pork buns and leaf wrapped rice were all amazing and a full meal for 2 came to less than 30 dollars. I'll absolutely be a repeat customer.

I've been to some pretty subpar restaurants before. That being said, this one took the cake for most bland food as well as horrific service. Waitress took it upon herself to blatantly ignore me when trying to order. Even after ordering, she threw the receipt at me. Still, trying to be a respectful human, I dealt with it. When the food arrived she didn't speak just slammed it on the table. When my son and I began to eat l, we looked at one another in disgust. All in all, nothing was enjoyable about the service or the food. There are better places to waste $34.

First order= cold chewy chicken with lo mein drenched in oil. Second order: the delivery guy was so rude forceful about the tip. I told him I didn't have more cash !! honestly either add delivery charges or train your employees !! The guy wasn't even moving from my door !

Really good Chinese food that's not at all greasy. I have only had better in San Francisco. Great flavor, meat that doesn't look barely edible, and great steamed pork buns and steamed dumplings. Best to call in an order and pick up, delivery takes a long time.

Orders took time to cook even though business is slow there. They’re very short handed with only one waitress helping customers while greeting people at the front desk. Mapo tofu we ordered has gone bad already and it tasted really terrible. 2 stars to the only waitress who helped me with my takeout orders. She is nice and at least willing to help even though it takes back and forth from the front desk and the back kitchen.

They just have a few of dim sum food and they are not authentic at all. It tastes really weird. Fried noodle tastes fine, however we ordered lunch special but they charge us its regular price. Do not recommend this restaurant.

Extremely pleased! Food was excellent. Wonton soup was particularly good with plenty of meat and thinner noodles for the wontons and tasty greens (pork pieces would have been nice too though). Spring roll was delicious, albeit a bit greasy. Food had that authentic slightly vinegar flavor that's hard to find--yum. Waitress was almost too nice. Prices were probably a little too high.

The food tasted pretty good and the service was great....but I won't ever go back because the environment is beyond weird. You can tell its family owned. Which is normally fine but I felt it was TOO home like. I guess you'll just have to go see for yourself. I can't even explain it.
