I come here at least a few times a month. This is very close to my condo. It’s a great place to come for a lovely walk. It’s beautiful in the fall, and I am so excited now that spring flowers are beginning to come in. But I even enjoyed walking here in the dead of winter. Also a great place to walk a dog. It’s not huge, but it’s just perfect for a 1/2 hour walk. I come here often as a work break during the week,. Since the pandemic started I’ve been working from home. This is a great place for me to slip out for a little break. It is never over crowded. And there are a lot of people are working very hard to keep this place beautiful

We LOVE this place! It is free, with plenty of parking, and beautiful! It is very well-kept, and the gardens are so peaceful. We have done picnics here and could spend a whole day just relaxing there. There are bathrooms in the mansion but we have never gone into it before.

I didnt know this place hosted weddings but it sure does and it was great to get to photograph one here. Tons of space for the ceremony and reception. The historic mansion works as a beautiful backdrop for photos. Theres also a clear line of sight west for an amazing sunset. It was a pleasure to be here.

Tranquil place with grounds that are open long hours. Note that the woodland trail seem to be closed because of a closed gate you can see from a distance but it is not. The gate is to keep deer, not people, out. One garden also doesn't necessarily lead to another so look at the map if you don't want to miss anything.

My hubby and I finally visited the other day and we loved it! Well laid out and blazed trails. They have maps you can take by their map near the parking lot. Lots of parking. It feels very tranquil here. We look forward to many walks here in the future.

A great park for students to admire nature. It could be enhanced with more signs for the areas, nomenclature of organisms and alternate activities. My first time here and I’d do it again, but after walking the map first. I found it difficult to find areas and signs were diminutive. Loved that there was a virtual scavenger hunt but again, clearer more kid friendly markers would help. Bathrooms were open but no water fountains available, gift shop and greenhouse was closed on a Thursday weekday. A good resource.

We go here at least a few times a year and have been doing it for 20 plus years. It's nice to go during each season to see all of the trees and plants change. It's relaxing, not crowded, and a great way to spend a few hours. There are walking trails and gardens. If you don't get to see the inside of the Mansion don't worry about it. There isn't much in there to see.

You can bring your picnic and a blanket to spread out, in the shade or sun. Bring a water bottle and shoes if you want to walk the trails. We could take the wheelchair around plenty of the paths. So beautifully maintained. The home is not open to the public, it could be rented for private events. Through the window it's pretty inside. There are benches to rest about the property. Lovely trees and flowers.

Beautiful views. Pleasant walks. Walk around the paths gave me 1.25 miles for one full circle. Not crowded. Clean Bathrooms, not a portable potty. Such a jewel.

Nice little walk on a rainy day. Plenty of flowers popping up. Will definitely return in a couple weeks to see the full swing of spring here. Free parking :)

This Arboretum is small but spacious. It seems to be in transition right now, both the rose garden and carriage house are under construction. The visitors center and educational areas are nice updated buildings that fit into the landscape. While the mansion is a stand-out both unique and beautiful without being over fancied. It has its charm from the past. The properties care takers are always working, caretaking for plants and cleaning the facilities. Bathrooms have always been clean on my visits. The visiting crowd tends to be families, couples and some poetic looking independents. It’s a great space to spend a day, morning or afternoon to connect with nature. Please beware of ticks in the tall grasses or if you are a tree hugger. Check out the events list- it has activities for all.

If you love nature and history... This place is absolutely amazing. Congrats, Grant and April your wedding was beautiful. I drained my battery with Nature due to a small delay so when the wedding started my phone was d-e-a-d😪.

We enjoyed a stroll through the grounds of this old summer home. There were lots of spring blooms. A wonderful green oasis in the middle of Baltimore.

Getting married with rolling green hills as a backdrop without having to leave Baltimore? It sounds impossible, but Cylburn Arboretum allows you to do just that! Located just minutes from the middle of Charm City, the park feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. Cylburn offers several different options for outdoor or tented ceremonies, as well as a couple of different indoor spaces if you worry that the Baltimore heat might be too much for you and your guests. In addition, with their colorful shrubs, perennials and annuals, the flowering gardens provide gorgeous and colorful locations for wedding portraits.

Breathtaking. This place is such a beautiful and peaceful refuge from the bustle of the surrounding city. I only saw a small part of the grounds today, but what I found was my new sanctuary. Along the edges of the property, there are dedicated park benches nestled under large canopies of trees and lush vegetation. If you visit and happen see a woman blissing out amongst the trees, make sure to give me a wave.

I've been visiting Maryland my whole life and I've never been to the Arboretum. I really enjoyed walking through all the different areas that had different flowers and different trees and bushes. I hope to visit again soon and go inside the mansion next time.

We really our enjoyed our mid-afternoon walk on the grounds of the Cylburn Arboretum. May is a good time to see late flowering dogwood, purple and white alliums, and the first peonies! The formal gardens will be better later in the year as they rely heavily on annuals for color and form.

Nice area to walk around on a pleasant day! Plenty of parking spaces and admission was free. Leashed dogs are also welcome to walk around the grounds and several other dogs and their owners were seen when we visited. Bathrooms didn't seem as accessible on the weekends? It seemed that only the greenhouse bathrooms were open.

Great hiking trails throughout the property, dog friendly but must be leashed at all times. Make sure you check out the trail through the fence/door

Nothing to not like about this place... Beautiful trees and flowers, never crowded, meticulously maintained, great for kids to run around and learn about all different types of plants and trees. The trails are fun and easy. Birds galore and even deer. This is truly a hidden gem in Baltimore.

It's a very beautiful and well maintained arboretum. Even in late November.
