We did the USS Constellation escape room as we were told this was the easiest one they have. Our group has done a number of escape rooms in the past, but unfortunately the Constellation room was very disappointing. The theming and decoration of the room was unimpressive and plain. Some of the puzzles are incredibly difficult, and many of the clues and hints the game master gave did not help. Some of the puzzles and pictures in the room were not drawn well so they were very difficult to understand. Some of the lighting in the room was poor, either too dark or too bright so there is so much glare you can't see what you need to see to complete puzzles. I would recommend that the company destroy this escape room and create a different one. Based on this room I would not go back.

If I could give a 0 I would. That building is too big to be so disappointing. It was so lame and boring I wanted to quit. The clues don’t make any sense majority of the time. It was 4 of us, all we left with is frustration. Asked for help so much the lady got mad at us. She made us feel stupid, the clues she gave on the monitor was just as confusing. We are never going back.

I left here very disappointed because the room itself was very finicky. The whole hour was figuring out codes to locks- there were at least 10 separate locks in the room which was frustrating because any clue or combination had to be tried on multiple locks each time. The locks themselves were in poor mechanical condition, requiring a hard yank to open instead of a reasonable tug. I put the correct code in several times but it only came open when my frustrated fiancé pulled extremely hard. There were creative elements, clues that were fun to work out, but overall there was no sensible linear progression that most escape rooms offer. The room wasn’t set up at first, and one of the major clues was inaccessible for the first several minutes after entering- only when I said there was an issue did the staff remotely correct it. The staff were exceptionally nice. It was expensive and we all left irritated- wouldn’t return.

My girlfriend and I have played over 80 rooms, and we had a blast escaping at Charm City Clue Room! Each room is 1 hour; we escaped each with about 9 minutes left. It was only the 2 of us in each room. The Dark Carnival was our favorite of the 2 we played. Not only was the theme stellar, the puzzles were clever with creative twists. Not many puzzles use technology, which was a good thing as it resulted in unique puzzles we had to actually think about to solve. Also, in case you were worried, no - the room is not "scary" - it's fine for any adult, so be brave! The Poe room featured some fun surprises and several truly enjoyable puzzles! We had a brief tech failure during the game, and the Game Master were on it within seconds, getting us back on track seamlessly. The puzzles were incredibly creative and a joy to solve! We are already planning our return visit to conquer the remaining rooms!

First time ever doing something like this, I had a blast. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room we did was really fun, and because of that I'm excited to do another one of these. Thank you.

Fun room in a cool, old building! The room was mostly mechanical with very little technology. The puzzles made sense and it was perfect for 2 people. The GM was obviously paying attention and her nudges were helpful!

Charm City Club Room meets my expectations of escape rooms. The rooms were thematically well designed and felt appropriate. The puzzles were generally interesting but sometimes hard to understand the flow of the rooms. My biggest complaint is that our GM kept sending us too many "nudges", or small unrequested hints. This isn't a problem in most circumstances, but we weren't being allowed to try and fail at things without immediately receiving a nudge. I would have liked more time to explore and fail before receiving help. Overall, we had fun and I can recommend Charm City Clue Room if you're looking for a decent escape room experience.

Me and my significant other went here for Valentine’s Day/His Birthday.Staff were very friendly, the escape game was very fun. They were very open and understanding when it came to explaining how the game goes. Thank you we’ll definitely be back! I’ would recommend this place for anyone who’s interested in escape room games. It was fun, and staff were very nice.

Challenging and fun games! Interesting room themes as well. Carnival room was creepy, but not too scary. The staff was also very upbeat, helpful, and polite. Would recommend!

The place is ok, but the rooms come off as very low budget and the employees aren’t really helpful when there are issues with the game itself. I’ve played all of these rooms that are currently there (since the rooms have been the same for a very long time) and every one of them ends up having some illogical step that isn’t a matter of being a tricky game—they all have flaws. I’ve only been back because they’re kind of the only game in town and I love escape rooms. They also had no flexibility one at least one occasion where we were running ten minutes late, which is understandable if a group has a room booked afterward, but in our case there wasn’t and the tall guy with long hair told us there wasn’t, but he said he wouldn’t give us the time back. I honestly feel like he enjoys when groups don’t escape. It’s kind of odd.

Had a very fun time with some friends and family doing an escape from the Poe Room. Being my first escape room, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a fun opportunity to work together to solve the puzzles, even if we didn't solve the last clue before out time was up. So close!

My girlfriend and I have done many escape rooms and our experience at the Dark Carnival room here was by far our worst. The male long-haired host's introduction of the room was rushed and barely comprehensible. Fortunately, the short haired girl who walked us to the room gave us much more useful information. Most of the puzzles in the room were actually okay, but there is guesswork required on three different parts including the last and most important part of the room. This part also has a strange lock with no explanation on how it works that is supposed to lock you out after three attempts. On our run through the room it locked us out after our very first attempt. With five minutes left, we expected someone to come fix the issue so we could finish the room. We've had rooms not work properly before and the game master has always been in to help immediately. After we sat around twiddling our thumbs for five minutes, the original long haired guy who has yet to grow out of his goth phase came to explain the ending. After we told him we were locked out of the box with only one try, he just shrugged his shoulders and did a little arm wiggle like a squid. I was so confused about his reaction and complete lack of concern about his entire game being broken that I didn't even know what to say. Usually after failing a room, we are both excited to book another one and try to "win," but we could not wait to get out of there and have no plans to return. It's quite sad because we thought the room was well themed and conceptualized, but with employees that don't care and puzzles that don't work there's no point trying to escape these rooms.

Have been here twice now, both times were a unique experience, meaning they don't recycle puzzles. The puzzles were great and don't require advanced knowledge of any particular subject. My only complaint would be that the Edgar Allen poe room was a little dark making some of the locks hard to see. Will try the remaining rooms for sure. It's also worth mentioning that the staff was very accommodating, we even arrived late.

Great experience here. Game masters were very friendly and helpful. We did two rooms, Poe themed (oval painting?) And dark carnival. Both were great and the staff let us book a room early after we did the first one.

We completed the Dark Carnival. We were out with 6 min left. It was fun and dark. Clues came as we needed them and were general enough we didn’t get frustrated. The facility was clean, the staff was awesome and the room well thought out. Will definitely be back!!

We had a great time at Charm City Clue room! We were a party of 7 and it was our first time participating in an escape room. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend visiting Charm City Clue Room.

Very good escape room! We did the carnival with 3 people. Our game master was awesome and gave very helpful clues when needed!

This was my first time here and it was nice! The reservations for each room are staggered accordingly so that the room can be fully sanitized and disinfected before your scheduled time. The circus room was difficult but fun. We did not successfully exit, but I will definitely try another room at this location.

We went for my birthday and thank goodness my son , daughter in law and grand daughter are really smart people because it was a mental workout. We absolutely enjoyed it and I truly look forward to returning. The young lady who initially introduced us to the game really needed to take the evening off it seemed she just mumbled the rules and was not feeling very well, or enthusic it was a bit of a buzz kill... Once we got in the room we enjoyed the challenge. The clues and input from the game master really helped. Kudos to the sweet young lady who was there when we completed the clues, with 4 minutes to spare, she truly made up for the lack luster introby the other young lady, Hope she is feeling better. See you again soon. I will tell everyone it was a blast!!!
