Fort Armistead Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 There is a big caveat for my high rating: it is NOT a place for everybody. However, if you want to fish or explore in an area which is essentially an urban ruin where the forest is reclaiming the structures, or you are a photographer or someone who loves abandoned places, this is the spot for you. I... People often mention park, cool,

There is a big caveat for my high rating: it is NOT a place for everybody. However, if you want to fish or explore in an area which is essentially an urban ruin where the forest is reclaiming the structures, or you are a photographer or someone who loves abandoned places, this is the spot for you. It is the best area for urban explorers I've encountered since the demolition of Henryton State Hospital. There is trash all around and there are dark tunnels which burrow deep into the darkness. Proceed with caution and avoid the place after nightfall, unless, of course, you love that kind of thing.

1 star for the awesome view of the key bridge. Fort Armistead? U mean Fort Landfill or Fort "this is where I clean out my truck bed of chopped up fish". I hope this isn't the neighborhood park. I been in some ruff places in my time but this takes it. So much potential but so neglected. Using caution tape for dock railings won't cut it.

Nice view of the water, probably a food fishing spot. The old fort is interesting to walk around too. Only issues are all of the random creepy men who sit alone in their cars and stare at you. Some of them follow you around and it's very unsettling. Also saw a lot of trash and used condoms around the old fort. No matter what time you go, day or night, there's always random creepy men sitting in cars alone all over the place. The police or park service definitely need to do random pop-up checks and do something about it but we've never seen police out there unfortunately.

This is a very cool and fun old abandoned place to visit and take pictures. It's sort of a Graffiti Art Exhibit near Baltimore.

Fort Armstead park is a great fishing spot. There is a boat ramp also. The boat ramp is good but the waters are rough. Easier to launch a smaller boat. There is no stores or bait shops so bring your own bait and snacks. As far as the rest of the park seems a little shady. I've never wondered far from the fishing area.

One of the dirty park even i visited. People making trash anywhere i don't know why management don't care about this. But, you can enjoy with water view so 2 star from my side.

Not even worth 1 star, how can the Coast Guard allow Baltimore to allow this to be open. Trash cans are overflowing falling into the bay. This could be a great location IF SOMEONE In the CITY would care. Fox News is my next text

FAIR WARNING Do NOT bring your kids here. It's neat for adult entertainment and viewing the graffiti/taking photos. I come here when I want to take cool - grungy type photos like with my biker stuff and all. THERE IS TRASH AND CLUTTER and lets not forget, people roaming and carrying out casual encounters to put it politely, so you can imagine what is below in the paths.. just don't do it, don't bring your kids here, this is not a tourist attraction.

Very cool place worth the visit. Sadly the place is filled with trash mostly on the inside. But dont let that stop you from visiting this historical place! My girlfriend and I had a great time!

Very cool spot but also super sketchy. Lots of shirtless dudes in cars backed into spaces, eyeing you up when you roll in. The fort is cool but go during the daytime, wear closed toe shoes, be quick and be safe. That’s probably also good advice for the shirtless dudes lurkin around.

Great view but has been not so family friendly. Was just up two weekends ago and they literally had 6 cop cars on patrol. Don't get me wrong makes you feel safer but what happen to the point they need all that enforcement.

It would be nice if the park service preserved this place. Nice to explore with the graffiti and all, but it is an unsafe area overall.

Fun place especially on nice sunny days drive on the beach (small)

This is a male/male hookup spot and not kid or family safe. Totally insane that the city of Baltimore allows this in a public park. Lots of drug activity. Needles and condoms litter the ground. Do not recommend coming here alone, especially at night.
