Wonderful park. Nicely keep trails. Beautiful bridges and an old mansion. Picnic areas that are clean. Nature Center with birds and reptiles and friendly, helpful staff. Streams and waterfalls. Parking and restrooms. Nice place to explore with family. it felt safe. I saw police patrol cars but I always go to ANY park with at least one other person. Only downside is that you can hear the traffic from route 70 in the distance but after awhile, you don't notice anymore. Truly an oasis from city life.

I loved this 🏞️ park and trail when I was a child and it was always the go to place for family reunions and church cookouts and summer camp mini field trips. It would be nice; however, if we could help Baltimore County or City ( depending on the county and city lines) keep the park and trails clean by cleaning up the ground a little. So we can help Gwynns Falls Trail remind a beautiful jewel in our community. We have a major historical event associated with the Park 🏞️. It's our history.

This was my very first visit there for a surprise picnic gathering to celebrate a friend's daughter graduation. I enjoyed some of the landscape, scenic views and the fact that there was a playground for children. I also really appreciate the convenience of a brick and mortar restroom on the grounds. So for me this was a good outing.

Nice walking space. Clean. Please be careful and walk or jog in pairs! Some areas maybe unsafe due to those that participate in crime!

I attended an festivity at this part and was surprised at the amount of underwear hanging in the bushes. Other than that the park was clean and I love that fact that they were so many places to beat.. Even real toilet.... Working toilets.... My cousin and I had a good time, we enjoyed the live performance, food and we also did some shopping. I would do this again and I do recommend this location.

Could be a very nice trail!! Emphasis on “could be”, because it isn’t well kept. There is trash, glass, liter, debris, fallen trees, and recently a downed power line where we had to completely detour through city to get downtown. The Wilkins Ave TH- people have dumped old, unwanted house junk, and construction parts along the trail. It’s really sad. Lots of fallen trees at Windsor Mill TH where you have the gravel/rock path. TH at West Baltimore St. cannot be traveled due to trees and power line down. You have to take N Franklintown Rd over to Frederick Rd to get downtown. I’ve reported these issues to 311, but who knows when they will be addressed. The trail is fine beginning from I-70 TH, but stopping at Windsor Mill TH. After that, I wouldn’t bother especially if you’re trying to bike downtown. I beg of the city to address these issues and make this trail nice. It can be beautiful and a place that can attract people to visit. It’s a great alternative to driving a vehicle into the city, so please clean it up. Until then, nearby trails like Jones Falls, B&A, and BWI are great options for hiking, biking, etc.

I love strolling thru Gwynn Oak Park with my dad. We live nearby & I feel fortunate that we get to enjoy the natural beauty of this public space. However, TRASH CANS need to be placed near the Gwynndale Ave entrance & MORE FREQUENT park maintenance & YEAR-ROUND LITTER REMOVAL.

Such a great, under the radar resource. The trailhead at Carroll Park golf course is nice. Too bad about all the trash. Once you get past Leon Day park, the trail really shines. We went all the way to Winan's Meadow.

Wonderful day to enjoy the geese and ducks before giving a push or two on the swings. Show up at the right time for the ice cream truck too!

Just came from the Happy Nappy Day Festival. Great space. Lots of wide open space. Descent playground. And a sleepy river/creek. I'll be back on a random day to "get away."

Beautiful n peaceful ,I loveee this park, perfect for exercising, hicking, walking, running, picnic ect,. One problem is some folks let their dogs run loose with out a leach n that scary, also soon don't clean up after their dogs. If those two problems can be fixed it is the most amazing park.

I love this trail. Some parts of it are hard to believe you're in an urban area. I had not ridden the trail for some time and didn't recall some of the forks and turns. I'm sure glad I downloaded the TrailLink app. It was very helpful getting back to our parrking spot, which was a different spot from the last time I rode the trail.

This is connected to the Leakin Park. The falls were cool to look down upon, but not the best trail experience on the but we were on.
