Horrible... Terrifying... Makes me never want to stay at a Motel 6 again. The room dead bolt was unscrewed when I came into the room and had to secure it back on the wall myself. Public areas were covered with litter. Bathroom had BLACK MOLD int the shower. Floors were swept but not cleaned (my feet were covered in filth when I walked on the floor). I stayed in a no smoking room and there was a smoky odor and burn marks in the quilt. There is a prostitute outside the building (look for the girl sitting on the car with the hood held on by bungee cords) . The room had COCKROACHES!!! Poor hospitality when employees were told about these issues. No management was EVER available, not even by phone. Had to leave the hotel at midnight when I saw the cockroaches and couldn't stand it anymore. Had to call corporate to get any help.

The only redeeming quality of this hotel was nice woman at the front desk who processed my refund for the second night. If we weren't so tired upon arrival we wouldn't have stayed at all. The room was not clean, like at all. After staying at other motel 6s in other places I didn't expect this to be such a total dump.

I stayed at Motel 6 #4610-Camden Yards 1401 Bloomfield Ave, Baltimore MD. When I booked the room the site said $55, and then I talked to someone I was told $61, when I arrived it was $81, what gives! When I arrived there was trash all over the parking lot and around the front of the building where people where smoking-yuck. I called and told them I need to get an early check-in because of an event starting at 3pm, and was told that would not be a problem and they would note my account. When I arrived at 2pm, the room was not ready and I had to wait, when it was ready, I paid in cash and was given 1 set of towels. I requested a room on the 1st floor but was given a room on the 2nd floor. The elevator was nasty, it smelled of urine and the floor was sticky. When I got into the room I smelled mold! There was mold and falling tile in the bathroom behind the toilet. Floor was not clean. It had a small toilet which I had trouble using. There was no blanket on the bed, only 1 regular size pillow and 1 small pillow, no tissues and had only 1/2 roll of towel paper. No ice makers worked on any floor and if you went to the restaurant-Loafers, they wanted to charge you for a cup of ice. Loud people, yelling after midnight. Speeding cars. Which I know you can't control. There was no coffee in the morning like the site said. The employees where either talking to each other or on their phones and come where just complaining that they had to work. I have stayed at Motel 6 before, many years ago but I will NOT stay there again. Worst place ever

If I could give it less than one star, I would. First, everything bad I read, but thought was probably exaggeration, was true! Concrete breaking, holes in walls, the elevator worked.... but it left little room for confidence, as the floor was crumbling inside it and someone had tried taping it down with some blue painters tape! Next we were assigned a room that the door lock died just as we finished putting all our valuables and luggage INSIDE the room. 4 extra trips up and down the stairs, with β€œlet us reprogram your key and then let us give you new keys” finally maintenance was requested to open the room. He couldn’t, because the battery in the door mechanism was dead. They then told us that they would assign us another room, but the only person with a master key was the manager so we couldn’t get our belongings until after 8am the next morning!!!! Oh, that didn’t fly well with my husband. Fortunately, they found someone with a master key and we retrieved our belongings. They assigned us another room. The staff has been helpful, apologetic and kind throughout this ordeal, and helped move our belongings to the β€˜new’ room. Well, new to us as there was nothing NEW about this room! I turned on the air conditioner and remarked to my husband that I hoped the temperature was satisfactory because the job to change it was missing. I went into the bathroom and.... yes there were old cigarette burns but the fixtures were dirty. There was a half full roll of bathroom tissue left on the back of the toilet and no roller to hang it from. I turned back the top sheets to one of the beds and it didn’t look -fresh. So I turned down the other bed and there was hair in the bed! Definitely not fresh!!!! I don’t believe I mentioned that this is all happening on the 4th floor and my husband is going up and down the stairs repeatedly! (The elevator is less than convenient to these rooms). So this time, he requested a refund. They assigned us yet another room-and told him they would have to discuss a refund with the manager in the morning. We can’t say enough nice things about the staff, they were all wonderful. But the management has done nothing to make this a reasonable accommodation for travelers. Plus they need a reliable cleaning company to take over for whoever is not doing their job.

Ugh it was so dirty. The floors were very dirty and vent in the bathroom was long overdue for a change. It was corroded with dust. Its a far cry from nursery Rd motel 6. I would never stay here again. I left at 330 am bc it was imo disgusting. Hire me as a cleaning lady. I'll clean it up the way it needs to be done

This location needs better service training. Especially for the house keeping staff. I reserved a room from July 10 - 17, 2017 for a conference I was attending. If I had the additional funds to stay somewhere else, I would have. The old saying, you pay for what you get, has never been so true. The vicinity didn't seem dangerous initially, but after a few hours/days that perception changed. I was originally placed in a room in the back of the property. I didn't feel safe, so requested to be assigned another room in the front of the property. The front desk complied. The room I was assigned had dirty blankets on both beds and only enough towels for one person. I informed the front desk and they had the blankets replaced. On top of that, I was charged additional fees, I went to the manager and he informed me that the system made the charge and that it would be refunded within a day. So, that matter was taken care of. I was having trouble getting the correct amount of towels each day and the toilet was broken and running nonstop. My breaking point occurred on Friday (July 14), I came to the room a little early (4:08 PM). Upon entering the room, I saw that both beds were not made up and all of the towels were taken and not replaced. I went to the front desk to inquire had the housekeeping staff left for the day. The rep assured me that they were still there, but work a little slow. I left to return to my conference and returned to the room a little after 10 PM only to find it in the same condition, no towels and the beds still not made. I went back to the front desk, pissed at this point and wanted to know what happened. The same rep was there and stated she would bring me towels. 30 mins passes and she brings the towels or only what she had. She claims to have written up the housekeeper. I informed her that I would be checking out three days early due to the issues this week. I made reservations at another hotel and checked out the following morning. While checking out, I informed the manager of what had occurred. He had the head housekeeper come to the lobby and explained to her what had happened, he also refunded me two days of room fees.

One star for being able to stay here for an emergency situation. Before taking someones money inform them of the elevator not working and the phone system not working. What if a person does not have a cell phone what are they to do if they have an emergency. It was not a phone in the room we stayed at. What is management doing with the money we pay to stay in your establishment. It looks run down it is time to do some upgrading. Oh and the housekeepers are thieves. They found something in the room after we checked out and did not turn it in. I am pretty sure if I did not go back they would have never called me. Yes the only thing I agree with is the two young ladies that work at the front desk who were nice. That is about it. Work on letting your customers know up front your faults before taking their money. Who ever runs this motel is a poor manager. I stayed here about three years ago and don't remember having the negative feelings I have for this place now.

The front desk clerks was very nice and professional. That's the positive. Now for the negative... the maintenance man acted like I bothered him by requesting a refrigerator then rudely answered, "I don't do housekeeping" and walked away when I only asked him if the room had been cleaned since it looked like it hadn't been swept... the towels weren't as clean as they should've been. Bleach might help. There was no iron or board, no tissues and no toiletries other than paper and mini soaps... the toilet had a film on it that I had to clean and disinfect before using... noise outside from other tenants' yelling, slamming doors and stereo booming at all times during the night... limited cable channels with some channels barely watchable... food or 'whatever' stains and dried liquids on the front door... burn holes in the bedding sheets and blankets... and a broken curtain rod attachment that I had to repair to keep anyone from looking inside my room.

We book for 2 days to a non smoking room. But when we entered the room, it smelled cigarette. The AC not working well. My daughter and I wanted to stay in bed after 4 hours trip but when we almost got into it we saw lots of hair, cigarette whole ro the bed cover, shoes mark at the bed sheet and lots of lots of stain in the beds. So we go down to ask the front desk people if we could have another set of bedding set. The lady assist us. We went to their laundry room and got the staff out in the dryer. We really felt uncomfortable and disgusted with our room. So we decided to book to another motel. Luckily they do have available room. I hope the manager of this motel 6 branch can action something about it. Give time to assess, improve and correct the needs of the motel.

The front desk workers were very sweet and. Ice when I checked in. They were great. However, the room was disgusting. The floors were sticky (you could hear it) and crumbs, etc were on the floor. There were stains on the comforter. The tub was gross. Counters were dirty too. The towels appeared clean at first glance, but were covered in long black curly hair. My boyfriend and I both have light hair. It was so gross I thought I may get sick. After a shower, you should feel clean, not dirtier. I hardly slept because I wasn't sure the sheets were even really clean. It was awful and we couldn't get out of there fast enough. I have them one star because I couldn't give zero, and the front desk guys were great.

But worse than that there was hair in the tub. But it can happen.
The worst thing of All in the room it stank of cigarettes.
The outside stairway was extremely dirty.
The lady who signed me in was wonderfully nice.

The place needs a makeover.
But for the low price it was the bargain I paid for.",null,[0,220]]

["If your like desperate for a stay or which ever circumstance, yeh sure…
But this place was disgusting! I would not recommend. When we first opened the door. The stench of cigarettes. Mind you this place has smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms DISCLAIMER… they’re all smoking rooms apparently. Your clothes will smell of the cigarette smell. The mini fridge was on the floor, broken and filled with water…. The TV was outdated and old did not even have an HDMI cord. The bathtub look very dirty and run down towards if it was considered clean you can’t tell because of the stains. I did not even bother showering. I just wanted to leave. It was only for one night. I set my bag of food on top of the mini fridge and there was a roach inside of it. And another bug. Oh! There was a smashed bug above the headboard. The housekeeping sucks…. I don’t know what these people are doing, but they’re not cleaning the rooms thoroughly. I get, you get what you pay for but it’s just crazy the whole place needs to be renovated ! Paid $80 felt like more like 65 would’ve been better. The Google reviews from three years ago are still present till today ! Nothing has changed. I don’t know whoever owns this motel but obviously they don’t care about the reviews. The rooms, the hygiene, just a place in general.. I wouldn’t recommend !!! so many things could’ve been fixed, but they wasn’t because they don’t care. Listen to the reviews this place really is one star and disgusting . Lol",null,[0,224]]

["My experience in the 2 weeks that I stayed here were pleasant. The owner and his staff are professional and kind. As a new person to Baltimore, this was a good first impression. Housekeeping cleans rooms daily. Clean sheets and towels daily, comfortable bed, and most importantly, sanitary. Everything worked properly in my room; television, A/C, Heater, Shower, toilet, locks. Cozy enough rooms if you are by yourself. At night there might be conversations you hear from people going to and from their rooms, but nothing out of the ordinary. It is after all an open walkway motel, not a hotel with rooms located internally. Also, not too expensive.

It is also conveniently located next to bus routes, major highway, and shopping centers a few minutes drive away. I personally had no issues walking around at night or day. After I got used to the area, I felt comfortable and safe.

If I am ever in need of a place for a few nights or longer term, I would definitely stay here again.",null,[0,234]]

They were able to accommodate us last minute which was nice. 2 double rooms adjacent at around midnight isn't the easiest thing to pull out of the hat, but the front desk guy was very nice. Unfortunately, there were a lot of questionable individuals milling around in varying states of undress. At 6 or so in the morning there were a half dozen people singing loudly outside my room. I think a couple of assignations were taking place. There was a lingering smell of marijuana in the (non smoking) room. The rooms were passably clean but the phones and TVs in both rooms were not operable. No shampoo in the bathroom. When I called the next morning to see about the broken phones, I was informed rather curtly that it was an "underground" telephone cable problem and that it couldn't be fixed. The TV problem was allegedly to be fixed by a tech but we checked out pretty soon thereafter so I dont know if they did. All in all, I think I would avoid this property in the future, there were comparably priced options elsewhere.

Great exterior illumination. The lights were definitely on! After driving for long hours, your feet want comfort. Wood floors are not recommended for suchπŸ˜‰ Room was clean. Basically nicely done. A few suspicious charters joy riding the parking lot passing by the on location security at the front check-in. Well worth the stop to sleep and go.

Michelle has EXACTLY the right personality to be behind the counter here, she is very endearing. Reasonable prices, and the staff have been more than friendly every time. I would recommend this to anyone, even in this area I have never had any issues here.

["Not sure why everyone is complaining. Stayed here for one night on a Thursday to go to Camden Yards. Everything worked in the room. Sure, the tub was covered in cigarette burns. The bedding had a few burns in it but it wasn't "unclean". For the price for one night (we paid $78) and the convenience you can't beat it.

Stayed on the 3rd floor. No one bothered us and everything was quiet.

You get what you pay for. I've had worse and I've had better.

Also, the staff we super friendly. Great customer service.

3.5/5",null,[0,239]]
