Charcoal cooked rotisserie chicken. Chicken has alot of flavor and is moist, Spanish style rice was really good and so are the red beans. Not much in the way of seating find a table and sit down, pretty basic. If you are on the run for a quick puck up for lunch and or dinner this spot does the trick and quite well at that. The only thing I would say is some of the food is just a tad on the salty side so definitely grab yourself a drink but other that that it was a good meal.

Fantastic chicken, perfect consistency yucca fries. Rice with egg was very solid. Girlfriend had the coleslaw, which I also greatly enjoyed. Price was great, and the staff was friendly. Pepsi products in the fountain, Inca cola and other, more unique sodas in the fridge. Seem like solid "family" priced meals.

Came here once since I work nearby, didn’t feel welcome at all (maybe because I don’t speak Spanish? Not sure) and I asked for my side to be black beans on white rice (repeated myself just to made sure he understand it was ON rice) he was in a rush to hang up, when I got there it was a whole extra side tub of black beans when I clearly stated that isn’t what I wanted… he just said “Oh, sorry” and still wanted me to pay for it. I understand that’s wasted food on the business, but it was 100% not my fault & I ended up paying way more for a whole container of black beans I never wanted….bc you were in a rush. Maybe he didn’t want to face the consequences, but you left a customer unsatisfied and confused. I will NEVER return back.

I think this place has the same owners as Poyoteca downtown as their menu is very similar if a little more limited. I had the chicken burrito. They also were out of macaroni salad. Decent Peruvian chicken option in the neighborhood.

Casual hole.in the wall restaurant offering really good authentic Peruvian roasted chicken. It's reasonable considering what all you get. They offer chicken by the quarter, half and or whole with a variety of sides. I really enjoy their chicken. I come here mainly for that. Sides are okay, however very generous portions. Only pay street parking is available. This is the only set back about coming here......the availability with street parking.

Clean restaurant. Nice digital displays. Menu easy to read. Spent $46 for the full rotisserie chicken, rice, beans, yuca, string beans and plantains. It's actually one of the best deals around. The food itself is excellent Peruvian style chicken. No complaints. Will definitely be back and the baby loved it. He ate like 4 ounce of chicken, which is alot for him.

A friend referred to this restaurant. There were limited number of tables to allow social distancing. The decor was basic. We ordered half chicken, with 3 sides plantain, egg fried rice & corn. Chicken tasted amazing, very tender and the flavors were well infused deep in the meat. Chicken Egg fried rice reminded me of Chinese egg fried rice with chunks of chicken and eggs. The corn was bigger in size and was tasty I thought the price was very reasonable for the amount of food. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Always a good experience at Chicken Rico. Hadn’t been to this location in a long time and it was still pleasant. I ordered a half chicken meal. Flavorful and hot.

Their chicken is one of the best Peruvian chicken I have ever had. The yellow sauce is the best. The onion salad pairs perfectly with the chicken. There maybe alittle bit of a language barrier, not a lot of English speaking employees but that's not a big deal its more of a heads up. Definitely a spot to visit when your out in Baltimore.

I’m from Tahuatinsuyu, occupied Perú and I can happily say every now and then this place is truly a taste of home, when they’re on they’re on. When they’re not it’s disappointing, this has happened maybe three times within five years of knowing their beautiful existence. It took me five years to rate this restaurant because this food is sometimes an embrace from my now life-transitioned mamá. When you go it’s always a warm experience even when people are cranky and hungry, they all know they’re going to get delicious, Sustainable and Natural, reasonably priced Ancestral food with a grin or a smile, and thank you and see you later. (They can be a little stingy w/their sauces though y eso no esta bien compas). Should the owners ever want to expand please contact me!

Jesus Christ. The food was awesome. The flavor of everything was exactly what you want when you think of Peruvian chicken. Plantains and yucca were crazy good.

Peruvians always put a cool spin on even the simplest food. The pollo asado is seasoned with just a touch of cinnamon and is awesome. Fried yuca and slaw sides were both winners as well. Place could be be a little cleaner.

I used to love this spot lol but good things never last. The kitchen is always closed when I want a burrito these days. Seems like all they want to do is cut the rotisserie lol which is fine, but take the burrito off the menu. I love the other food but I also like to get the burrito or chicken sub on occasion and you can’t do that here anymore.
