If you're looking for kind, informative, not-overly-pushy-or-tries-to-guilt-you dental care from an expert team, please visit Dr. Tomicka Jackson-George's dental practice! I have had nothing but marvelous experiences with their whole team throughout several years. The office is in high demand, so make sure you are proactive and schedule appointments ahead of time or make adjustments to current schedule ASAP to help them out! From cleanings, to fillings, to billing/insurance navigation, everyone has been very transparent and respectful. I don't have great teeth due to medical issues, but the team never once commented on their appearance or made me feel bad about it. They're very factual: "this needs xxx so xxx doesn't happen, or we can try xxx instead." Note that I am a very strong advocate for myself which helps with communication, but combining that with the respect I mentioned above, I feel very empowered with my own healthcare when I'm with their office. If you're reasonable and honest about your needs, their whole office is very human and tries to work with you and offer different options for your physical, mental, and financial ease. Dr. Gupta was the first dentist I saw there, then Dr. Chase, and now Dr. Tomicka Jackson-George! Each transition was very smooth as they keep records neat. And to highlight it, all of the aids are wonderful and have their own personalities. I also ADORE Emily, their office manager! She's always so kind to me and very patient, even when I was going through some difficult stuff. Thank you all!

Dr. Jackson-George and her staff are incredible! They went out of their way to make me feel welcome, checked in regularly to ensure I was comfortable, and made me aware of everything that was happening during my treatment. Many dentists try to scold or shame you into better dental hygiene, but this was never the case; just great advice and gentle encouragement. The facilities are new and very up-to-date. Great environment! Highly recommend.

Most have strong opinions on dentists.. I say they're simply just a necessary diligence..😅 Seriously, I've been going to dentists going on the better part of 4 decades and Dr. George and associates are people that I will definitely go going back to again. **Even if only for a 2nd opinion! ** #worthwhile There's dentists that I won't go to again; she's not one of those. 😀 Have a good one!

i hate going to the dentist but yet i smile at every visit with Dr. George and company. My experiences have been primarily with Olivia, Rose, and of course Dr. George. they each treat me as if i am the most important patient in their practice. then i see that every person is treated in this manner. if you want superb results delivered with kindness and care, list “come here.” these folks have my highest endorsement.

Now let's be clear, the dentist in general is NOT my favorite place but this dentist office has the best staff! From the initial interaction of setting up the appointment to the close out of the appointment, the staff are informative, take care, remember the small things! My experiences have been consistent. Shout out to Rose for taking the care to walk me through how to properly maintain my bridge AND providing the recommendations for proper dental care at home!

It took a while to get an appointment as a new patient, but it was worth the wait. And since my initial consultation, I’ve been able to get follow-up appointments in a reasonable time frame The office is professionally run and have the most caring staff! I have terrible anxiety about getting anesthesia injections, but Laurice made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Chase is amazing! She let me know everything she was doing during my treatment and made me feel completely at ease. I’m very happy I switched to this practice.

Drove 30 min for an appointment only to hear that it would need to be rescheduled, but I could come in the next day if I wanted to. I guess they assume people have nothing else do to. This place has been getting worse and worse over the years.

I had a filling done yesterday, and although that experience is never pleasant, Dr. George managed to make it as comfortable and I think it could have been. She and the staff were very concerned with my comfort, and checked in often. She encourages questions from her patients and takes the time to answer them thoroughly. She administered the local anesthetic is a much less painful way than I've experienced at other dentists. She also explained what she was doing through the whole process, which I value in a doctor. I've been going to get my teeth cleaned here for two years, so I already liked them, but my experience yesterday really made it worth writing a positive review.

I had a recent visit to Dr Tomicka’s Dental office and I was NOT disappointed!! The front office staff was professional and polite! I felt welcomed. Then I met Dental Hygienist Rose, she is extremely kind and professional! I never had X-rays taken with such patience and care before. Finally, I met Dr. Tomicka and when she introduced herself I immediately felt comfortable, she has such a professional yet warm demeanor. She took her time and explained everything in detail. Incredible experience (I know, strange thing to say about a trip to the dentist). From the time of scheduling my appointment, to scheduling my next visit—everyone was so kind, comforting, and accommodating. Antonetta was an unbelievable help in scheduling my initial appointment and was an absolute delight. Nicole, my dental hygienist, provided the most comfortable, pain-free cleaning and evaluation (I hate those picks and even that portion was completely fine). Dr. George is incredibly knowledgeable and generous with her time during the consultation. Honestly, looking forward to my next visit. Great work by everyone.

I totally agree with all of the positive feedback about Dr. Jackson-George and her wonderful staff. I have had to get a lot of work done on these aging teeth of mine, and I don't even mind having going to the dentist! Dr. George is very caring and thorough, and during a procedure she always signals you what she is going to be doing next, and how long it is going to be until the next step in the process. She does excellent work, and the prices are very reasonable especial if you get a Dental Plan. I really love all of the staff, they are all so friendly and competent. I’ve been a patient at this practice for going on three years. I had a terrible experience with my previous dentist trying to nickel and dime and price gouge me causing my oral health to decline when I thought I was out of options. Dr. Jackson-George was patient, transparent, and empathetic with my situation and worked up a treatment plan that was doable for me. She has made every visit and procedure comfortable and as painless as possible. The staff are friendly and professional and pleasurable to work with. I’ve even referred friends to the practice who have also had good experiences. My only criticism is the length of time to get an appointment. However, I don’t mind the wait as it is worth it! In many cases I’ve had appointments bumped up when they have openings in their schedule so a little patience goes a long way! I plan to stay here as long as i am in Baltimore! As someone who suffered lack of proper and regular oral care from childhood through early adulthood, I am so thrilled to have a great dentist who has put me on track with my dental care! If I could give 0 stars I would. Stopped going to this place over 4 years ago because of how unprofessional the practice was for cancelling my appointment for no reason. Then to be notified over 4 years later that there is a balance due out of nowhere. Absolute JOKE. Seems others may have decent experiences but mine was not one at all. So thankful I moved to a new dental practice when I did.
