0
stars,
if
I
could.
Went
to
the
ER
here
for
what
I
suspected
to
be
appendicitis
(acute
lower
abdominal
pain
so
bad
I
couldn't
walk,
laugh,
sneeze,
or
drive
over
potholes
without
it
being
an
8.5/10
or
more
on
a
pain
scale).
Had
a
fever
of
almost
102,
and
my
blood
pressure
was
155/110
(and
is
usually
around
118/77).
No
one
seemed
concerned......
After
waiting
for
6
hours,
I
finally
got
labs
taken
and
a
CT
scan
done.
Eventually,
I
was
provided
an
IV
bag
of
fluids
but
since
they
had
no
rooms
available
and
I
was
in
the
waiting
room/lobby...
They
taped
the
fluid
bag
to
the
wall.
As
you
can
imagine,
this
really
wasn't
sturdy
so
the
IV
bag
fell
off.
I
had
to
hold
it
up
myself
until
a
nurse
came
to
re-tape
it.
After
3x
of
the
bag
falling,
I
was
finally
provided
an
IV
stand.
There
was
blood
all
over
the
bathroom
floors.
And
it
seemed
that
the
only
way
to
be
seen
was
to
yell/make
a
scene/threaten
staff
and
nurses.
Didn't
see
a
single
custodial
staff
member
for
16
hours.
8
hours
after
my
CT
scan,
I
still
had
not
heard
anything
and
was
still
in
increasingly
more
severe
pain
(they
said
results
would
be
documented
in
45-60
min),
but
wholly
ignored
and
was
told
"please
sit
down,
we
are
doing
all
we
can".
I
finally
got
the
CT
scan
results
the
next
morning
via
MyChart,
without
a
doctor
talking
to
me.
I
honestly
just
left
to
go
home
after
that
and
scheduled
an
appointment
with
my
PCP
to
discuss
the
results.
Turns
out
I
was
on
the
verge
of
organ
rupture,
as
evidenced
by
the
extreme
inflammation
in
the
CT
scan
and
my
critically
abnormal
labs.
Organ
rupture!!!!!
He
said
if
I
don't
get
to
an
ER
ASAP,
it
could
result
in
death.
Went
to
a
different
ER
and
got
taken
care
of.
So
upset
that
I
will
have
to
pay
for
18
HOURS
of
nothing
at
this
facility......
Truly
appalling
in
every
way.
I
know
that
a
lot
of
this
has
to
do
with
understaffing
and
underfunding
but
still...
Get
it
together,
Johns
Hopkins
Bayview.
I
literally
could've
died
and
they
didn't
care.
