Just so you know how much I enjoyed this experience...this is my first ever online review! My fitness consultation wasn't what I expected...at a few other gyms I've joined, the 'initial consultation' consisted of filling out a form, some chit chat, and being shown how to use some machines. My consult with Shane at Timonium was an hour long, sharing a lot of information about my lifestyle, and Shane demonstrating a five part resistance based routine that involved minimal equipment. He not only demonstrated, but actually coached me through a workout, which did challenge me and leave me exhausted, but more importantly, gave me confidence that I can achieve my fitness goals. So now when I go back, I will have a program that's doable, measurable, and is all about me vs. me, not me vs. the equipment. Thanks, Shane!

I was traveling to town for a few days and my pass allowed me to use this facility. While it is on the smaller side there is an ample amount of equipment. It’s very clean and the staff is extremely helpful!

This is a very upscale & new gym. It's always clean and the showers are very nice. That being said, it's pretty small. You won't find all of the machines in this location, however, a membership here grants access to other anytime fitness locations nationwide after 30 days, the nearest being Jacksonville and Towson. The staff are friendly and parking is never an issue. The pricing is 50 dollars for a membership plus 40 dollars every subsequent month.

Jerrod, Hannah and Shane are The Best. As a weakling, I dreaded trying the special challenge. But now because they are so encouraging and smart about pushing me, I am hooked and actually liking strength training. Wonder of wonders. Do yourself a giant favor and try this gym!!

I love ATF Timonium and signed up for small group training, for one year. I find the workouts challenging, fun and accommodations and instructions are provided by the personal trainers. The gym is clean and equipments are in good shape. If you are self motivated and know what you need to do, ATF Timonium is the perfect place for you. BUT if you are like me and sign up for the small group training, don’t get too attached to your trainer. I have been through several excellent trainers since I began in January of this year.

Exerciser Beware -- We are locked into a one-year contract that I was unaware of. I could have made a mistake, but do not remember any discussion around the 12 month commitment. We haven't used it once....just called to ask not for a refund, but that there be no more monthly charges going forward.....and they refuse. They are charging us for almost $400 of services we aren't able to use.

I used to despise going to the gym. I would join and then never go. Not at Anytime Fitness Timonium. It is WONDERFUL and I really enjoy going 3-4 times a week. The staff, manager and trainers are so knowledgeable. They care about you and not your membership money each month! Keep up the great work. Truly a #fitfam!

I've been to and worked out in many gyms over the years and have to say AnyTime Fitness Timonium is BY FAR one of the best. Not only is it kept SUPER CLEAN which is like the Holy Grail of gym culture, the staff are FABULOUS. In addition to being experts in helping others achieve their goals (getting healthy, losing weight, or building muscle mass) they are fun to be around. I am so glad I decided to ditch the "Covid blues" and join this location. The facility is well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and I can always count on a stellar workout. A very special shout-out to Hannah, Barry, Stephanie, and Shane for always helping and encouraging me every step of the way. When it comes to my health, I know I can count on AnyTime Fitness.

Great little gym. Cost efficient. Staff has a high turnover rate. Always a new face,but friendly. You're on your own unless you pay for personal sessions, which is nice. Gym is very clean!

BEWARE: When you sign up for this gym they will lock you into a year long contract which you cannot cancel. It is predatory and dishonest, as they don’t reveal the full implications of what you are signing upon your first meeting. If you move or find another gym, they refuse to let you cancel and will continue charging your card. If you cancel your card, they will send you to collections. Absolute nightmare and horrendous business practice. Google “anytime fitness scam” and you will see plenty of similar stories. Find a gym like planet fitness or the million other local ones that offer the same amenities but allow you to cancel if your life circumstances change. Avoid this company at all cost and don’t give let them keep getting away with this.

Anytime Fitness is the perfect place to meet my goals. I appreciate the focus on cleanliness and having well-maintained equipment. The staff is always available to advise and guide exercise. The facility is very motivating and welcoming.

I've found your gym is always clean, the equipment is state of the art, in good working order, and there's enough to meet members needs. The staff has been generally polite, and helpful to me on a number of occasions. I’ll name two in particular. One time I left my clip on bike shoes behind and staff put them aside and helped me pick them up later. Another time, after I took a shower in the nice shower-equipped bathroom, I mentioned to a staff member that I'd left the floor wet. His remark was a friendly, “Don’t worry about it, I’ll take care of it.” Your gym offers interesting and attractive free activities and services and special events, that you’ve informed me of in a timely way. The varied sound track in the gym helps get me into my workout.

This place is great. Lots of jokes they play 2am, we have FoxNews in front of me and Creed playing. That is a special layer in heck. One more joke they played: I get on the cardio and see food on tv-" oh good, the food network- they changed the channel. That is a good choice" The hotdogs rolling off a conveyor belt, it is an advertisement for veggie pills... and at this point, I knew it was still the fox news channel. This place rules! Just wear headphones and ignore the large exaggerated fox news banners

Went here here for a $10 day pass. Had everything I needed. Clean gym. All working equipment.

I am not a big fan of writing reviews because it tends to attract two types of people: over-idealizers and over-devaluators. That being said, AF in Timonium has been a life-changing experience for me and I feel as if I am returning to my early 20s — which was 40 years ago — when being in the gym felt like a social outing and a second home. Most importantly though, the 24 hour accessibility is huge. Some of my best workouts, in fact most of my best workouts, were very late into the evening. There are they 5 AM‘ers and the 11 PM’ers — both fascinating groups!

Great gym. Friendly staff, clean facilities. I've been a member since they've opened and have never encountered enough of a crowd that I have trouble using the equipment I need to. Usually only 3-6 other people there at peak times. Signing up here was a great choice. Inexpensive, convenient, always open.

Friendly staff, great new and wide selection of equipment. Also modernized with the virtual classes available. Love that it is 24 hours. Wish that they had a student discount.

Very nice people. Clean facilities, and well-equipped. I only joined about 10 days ago or so, and so far I am loving it.

I have been to a few of these locations and this is my second favorite. The equipment is good, they keep the place clean, and the facilities are nice in general. The main downside is the small group training room and the free weights are placed in an odd manner which I do not personally prefer.

Great place to workout. The owner, Craig, actually works out so he is very aware of what our needs are. I have never seen any equipment in need of repair and the gym is the cleanest gym I ever worked out in. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant to be around. As a physician, of over 30 years, I can't appreciate enough the cleanliness and the 24/7 access.

Excellent workouts. Eric fosters a wonderful atmosphere of inclusivity and diligently watches your form. It’s high energy and fun. Highly recommend.

I personally dislike the gym, but this place has such a comfortable feel that I enjoy coming! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the people who work out here are, too. I would definitely recommend joining if you’re looking for a new gym!

AF Timonium is a great small gym. Good variety of machines and plenty of space for free weight workouts. Staff member Jerrod is great. He is a one man show most of the time I have been there, but he definitely gets the job done with keeping the gym clean, coordinating classes, and interacting with other gym goers.Give this man a raise!!!
