Art work is amazing, the place is a very neat spectacle to see. Would advise to go with a friend and have protection. The parking lot has alot of parked cars with possible questionable activities. Would not advise being there at night.

To Follow Me, Search: Sweet_FauxPas Review: Pretty cool place to get photos. Unfortunately over the years it's gotten more and more trashed. There is trash cans but they're full & spilling onto the ground. Overall it's a cool place though. My friends and I enjoyed checking out the ruins & parts of the old tunnels, while we read about the history. Fishing is pretty cool here and there's also a small rocky beach. Just watch out for the nails/screws, glass, potential needles, and such in the fort, especially if you plan to get some photos. Wish the city would do something enjoyable with this to preserve history but also give something for people to enjoy a little more. (The graffiti is not always very kind, I just edited out the really bad stuff for my photos)

FAIR WARNING Do NOT bring your kids here. It's neat for adult entertainment and viewing the graffiti/taking photos. I come here when I want to take cool - grungy type photos like with my biker stuff and all. THERE IS TRASH AND CLUTTER and lets not forget, people roaming and carrying out casual encounters to put it politely, so you can imagine what is below in the paths.. just don't do it, don't bring your kids here, this is not a tourist attraction.

This park is in a beautiful location but the upkeep is horrible. Trash everywhere, abandoned cars, potholes and overall neglect. The potential here can be great! Nice views of the Key bridge and Chesapeake Bay

This is a cool old military installation from the late 1800s to early 1900s it’s pretty ran down but a great place to visit if your into the abandoned scene . Cool underground tunnels definitely take a flashlight and pepper spray to be safe and go during the day!!

We had a lot of fun exploring the underground bunkers. A lot of cool graffiti. Near the water you can go fish in there.

Although there is a lot of trash and stuff around still a magnificent place full of history. Plus a great view of the Bridge and sunset during the early morning

It's a pretty cool place, it's falling apart though but the graffiti is cool to look at. Be careful of the broken glass and other trash, I wouldn't touch anything either

Not much on fishing but lots of people like fishing here. I go here to fly my drone around and over to the fort. You can also get some nice sunset pictures with the bridge and sometimes sailboats for backdrops.

Nice place on the bay to fish from a pier and small beach. The actual ruins of Ft Armistead a nice private wooded area to wonder with some of the rooms of the old fort intact to explore and play and making a few friends with the same interest.

Sadly, this old fort and park is not taken car of properly and the road in and out is not maintained so be careful of some serious undercarriage damage if you hit them. There can also be some sketchy characters that lurk around the area that makes overall safety an issue. The views of the bridge and outer barber are cool to see but just stay aware of your surroundings and recommend visiting with others and not alone.

Not maintained well. Has a boat launch and pier. Not the kind of place to take the family for a picnic.

Fort Armistead is a very cool place for urban exploration and apparently fishing or launching your boat. I knew what to expect and enjoyed exploring the ruins of the Fort in the woods and hanging out by the water afterwards. The fort itself isn't very clean and is covered in graffiti but it was an experience.

WHAT A PIT! Great views of the bridge if you're brave enough to leave your car! Free boat ramp... I guess that's nice if you want nasty fish. Be afraid! This is where all our city taxes go?! Baltimore is NASTY. NASTY. NASTY. FOUL. DIRTY. NASTY.

It’s nice to visit as long as you don’t wear open toed shoes due to the abundance of needles. Last time I went I even got to see a boat catch fire

At one point in time when i was a kid this Fort was in very nice condition as many of the others in the area. It's a piece of early American history and it's being literally destroyed by vandals.. it's a pathetic shame. Obviously there's not an ounce of respect for what it stood for. Really wish they would bring it back to us former glory

I've been going here since a young boy kept returning because of location but this place is disgusting very dirty needs a clean up and a face lift i would recommend taking your trash with you when you leave. Parking lot needs to be repaired along with driveway along seawall i would be willing to help clean it up but it would be a undertaking

The history of the place is enough to entice a history buff like myself, but even if you're not a big fan of history the aesthetics of the fort are amazing. the entire fort is covered in ever-changing graffiti, Everytime you go it'll feel like a new place.

This place would be so cool to be able to explore if it weren’t for the creepy individuals that followed us around. We were immediately uneasy and decided to walk back to our car when we noticed the old man was completely exposing himself with two other men wandering around the top of the fort. Super disappointing as we would have loved to explore this further. There should be a Police presence at this location to keep tourists safe at the very least.
