    Stay away as far as possible! I reserved a car online, and was told they didn't have a car at all. No texts, email or phone call to give heads up, instead I wasted $25 Uber ride. No sincere apologies either, typical job program employees who work thete!

    I would say this was my worst rental experience but I didn’t get to actually rent a vehicle. After receiving a confirmation on my reservation I paid for an Uber to the location. Upon arrival I was notified there were no vehicles available. The manager offered no solutions besides waiting or going to another location. This is absolutely unacceptable for travel and I will never consider giving this location or Hertz my business. My travel plans are destroyed. Time to start walking wish me luck.

    On Dec 29, 21 reserved a vehicle from Hertz Rental in Laurel MD from the representative who work there. The car she reserved for me was filthy dirty, I informed her of the car dirtiness and the smell and informed me that they weren’t able to clean the car in a timely manner and their location didn’t have the equipment to clean car properly. She then inform me that I can have the car clean, they would reimburse me which I did, when I return the on Dec 4, 2022. I was informed by the manager Axel that they didn’t refund customers who have their insurance is paying for rental, then why would your employees tell me to have it wash on my own. I will be filing a complaint with BBB and the Corporate Office. I will get my money back. Don’t use this Car Rental their cars are trash and they don’t kept the maintenance up on the vehicles. The car they provide me was a black 2021 Hyundai Va license plate UUD1745 Faulty Brakes, brakes are worn out. Vehicle shakes when applying brakes. Front windows has a a whole in it. Inside seats are dirty and no floor mats floor are dirty. DO NOT Rental at this location. Trashy Cars!!!

    I made a reservation online. When I got to the rental location, the hertz employee told me they don't have any cars available. They were not willing to honor my reservation and they were not willing to reschedule. They weren't even willing to refer me to another branch...no help at all.

    The only reason I would even go to this place is because my insurance and car dealer sends me here. Their customer service is horrible and the rental agents always have some kind of attitude, even when asking your name. It's best for you to go to NEXTCAR- near main street, their agents are respectful and friendly!

    Like other reviews. Showed up to the location and they didn't have a car for me nor gave me a time of when I would have one. Very poor customer service. Ended up canceling the reservation and went to Enterprise where I was actually treated like a customer.

    Whew chile! They only got one star because that prompted the message box. Anywho, I paid them weekly basis. When I returned the vehicle, they charged my card for the full amount I actually paid for weekly, which put my bank account is a negative. Hertz will not pay my overdraft fee and will not tell me the returned amount. ENTERPRISE WILL NEVER!

    SAM was excellent. This was my first time renting a car ever!! Found a great deal via Priceline. Location was a little tough to find. Instructions given by SAM were clear. I found him polite, respectful, kind and professional. When it was time to return, SAM agreed to wait 20min after closing just to receive my rental. I found that going above and beyond and highly recommend SAM at this Hertz location. Highly recommended!

    A car that came from Florida was not cleaned nor sanitized in the middle of a pandemic, smelled like smoke which I'm allergic too, had multiple belongings from the previous renter and had trash in the vehicle. Have not been able to get a hold of anyone at this store to address nor national and paid full price for terrible service. Will never rent from here again. Would rate 0, if possible. Go to Enterprise.

    All I have to say is that if you’re allowed to make a reservation online, they should tell you if it’s not even available. Made a reservation and spent money to get to this location only to find they don’t even have anything ready. Why make a reservation then? They suggested I go 40$ of an Uber to another location to try there? Weird way to conduct business. Now I’m stuck out in the cold waiting for an expensive Uber ride home.

    PLEASE TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS!!! I rented a car from Hertz 10/11/21-10/15/21 as a traveling registered nurse to go care for people during this pandemic. All I expected was a clean reliable vehicle. WHAT I got was a piece of JUNK!!! I had to literally use my own Lysol wipes and spray to clean the filthy car they gave me. The car smelled like smoke and the seats had recognizable stains in them. The tire pressure light stayed on the entire time while I was traveling. DISGUSTING!!! Go to enterprise or risk driving a filthy raggedy car!!! YUK!!!!

    I had a very bad experience with one of your employee the black man who firstly refused me the car , increased the price I had already got when i reserved online even with doordash discount. While his colleague said to him doordash drivers can get cars with us. He was surprised then to leave me gave me a dirty car with some trash and was smelling smoke. Only with Lauryn I had a great experience. For her, I give you five stars. She deserves more.

    HORRIBLE customer service!!! Had me over an hour on phone to get a rental vehicle. Transferring me from main office ( they are the worst) to different location. Main office could have check availability with in the zip code area. Lazy rude not willing to do the JOB they are getting paid for.

    Very sweet and helpful employees and the service at this location is pretty good from past experiences. This could have been a 5 star review if it wasn’t for an unyielding company policy of no major debit cards on same day rentals. This information is not displayed on Hertz forms of payment information or the particular page I booked on. It is only on the specific store page which is not what most used for booking. I caught a ride share 30 minutes away from my home because this location had cheaper rates and was denied same day service despite booking ahead of time due to the major debit cards policy.

    Pretty decent check-in took a while because the guests in front of me had some issues but when I got to the front went pretty fast. They had better prices than a lot of other places locally. Got to drive an outback for the first time

    Easy car rental Stephen was super cool and got me out the way swiftly! Only down side is they cant wash the cars so it was super dirty on the outside but inside was clean and well thats most important... For the price, they should give a carwash voucher lol

    Several concerns questionable when I received car. I told associate and he did come out to fix them immediately with no hesitation, but my issue is why did I have to do that to begin with. I expected to drive off in a clean, issue free rental car. I kept having to go back inside to say did you see this? The car was possibly cleaned, if it was it was not freshly cleaned. It did not have a just cleaned smell to it which made me think when was the last time it was actually cleaned.

    i had to return a car to this location instead of the original drop-off point. the customer service line said they couldn’t help, and i just had to go straight to the store to sort it out. luckily the representative here was able to help me quickly and easily and i was really grateful—i thought it might be a whole ordeal. thank you!

    Sam and Axel in the Llaurel store are great to deal with. They are both personable, polite, willing to answer questions and very professional. They are very knowledgeable about the car rental business. I will rent from them again.

    I booked a reservation at this location and took an Uber all the way from Arundel Mills, just to be told that they didn't have any vehicles available. The customer service rep didn't do anything to try to help and fix the situation. Moral of the story...CALL FIRST to verify they have vehicles before making the trip.
